The food was amazing, and nicely priced. The service was outstanding. The atmosphere is casual yet elegant. I have recommended Villaggio’s to three friends during casual conversation, just since our visit two days ago.
We were a party of 7. The waiter was very accommodating and kind. The food was excellent. We left full and happy!
We were vacationing at the beach and decided to try something neither of us had been to. Overall I would say it was worth the visit. We found the croutons and the cheese on our Ceasar salads to both be a bit stale but the lettuce was crisp and the dressing had a good flavor. For the main entrees my husband loved his salmon and my filet was full of flavor but a bit under cooked. I love my meat rare so I was ok with that but it was a cold very red center, not a cool red center with a noticeable sear ring as it should have been. So if you sort of like your steak rare I would strongly suggest going with a medium rare cook. The gnocchi that accompanied it was pepper overload and gummy so I did not waste filling up on it. The cheesecake we got to take home was the show winner by far though.
Loved it! Our waiter was amazing - his name was James. He let us take our time and offered suggestions and just so personable.
As always the food was on point, oysters were delicious and the steaks supreme. Overall another great date nite @ The Villagio
Our server, Olga, was excellent. All that Vellagio provided was enjoyable.. We arrived in the restaurant totally distracted by the noisy and too bright audio going on outside the restaurant in the Wharf Commons. Noise level was disturbing, search light flashing was upsetting. Olga charmed us into relaxing and enjoying the restaurant.
Great service and food was excellent.
Celebrated our 33rd anniversary. Absolutely loved the food and service! The award winning shrimp dish was amazing ending with delicious and light 5 layer orange cake. A can’t miss combo. Prefer a slightly quieter environment as tough talking over a table but we will definitely be back. Thank you!
Every course from the bread and olive tapenade to caprese salad to steak to creme brûlée dessert was fabulous. Server Roy took great care of us and was very knowledgeable and fun. Was exactly the nicer food we were ready for after days of oysters and bar food.
Waiter was not attentative. Acknowledged us and was gone for quite a long period. I don't know if he had too many tables or what. Restaurant was noisy. We had a party of 7 and they cramed us in a corner where waiters and other diners had to squeeze behind us to go to the restrooms. Food was very good. Salmon special was excellent as were the steaks.
We'd been to Villaggio Grille at the Wharf many times and have always enjoyed good food and service, but this visit was exceptionally fine. We were celebrating a birthday, and the guest of honor was looking forward to her favorite baked oysters appetizer. She was very disappointed it wasn't on the menu; but our waiter, James, asked the kitchen to prepare it for her anyway! Kudos to James and the chef!! And after dinner, which was predictably very good, James brought the birthday girl a decadently delicious slice of flourless chocolate cake, complete with a candle.
I must preface my review by saying this was on an extremely busy Friday night. All 4 of us enjoyed our dinner, but due to the crowd it took our server a while to wait on us, take our order, serve the food and finally bring the check. This is probably our 12th or more time to dine at Villagio, but the first since they expanded their footprint. I’m not sure whether the waitstaff had too many tables or were simply short of staff. Our waiter was very friendly & courteous. My daughter who has worked as an event planner wasn’t pleased with the service and she has handled events with hundreds of guests.
Everything was spectacular as usual.
We went on Valentine's Day, they had ourbtable within minutes of arrival. The atmosphere was great and the food was excellent. Their wine list is extensive. Service was great. We will be back.
First time here, enjoyed everything about Villagios. Definitely will go back. Food, service and atmosphere very good.
One of our favorite restaurants, and we had the best meals ever. Grouper and Spareribs. Olga was our terrific waitress!
Villagio never disappoints. They are consistently good. I eat there often and can recommend everything on the menu. From appies to entrees to flatbreads. Good wine list as well. Best restaurant in Orange Beach.
Excellent meal, good service, nice ambience all make for a nice dining experience! One of our favorite restaurants in Orange Beach.
Met some friends for dinner and had a wonderful meal. All of us raved about our meals. Besides the food, our server Marshall, was excellent. He was very attentive but not overly hovering. Would definitely recommend to friends and love to come whenever we can.
The staff and food at Vilaggio is worth stopping to enjoy. The prices are very fair and the food is nicely presented. Most items are ala carte, which gives diners the opportunity to order their meal to satisfy individual appetites. The tenderloin and shrimp entrees were excellent choices on a recent evening out with my husband.
Excellent meal, and the service (by Olga) was fantastic. Anxious to dine there again!
I thought the service was wonderful, prompt but not overbearing. The food was excellent.
Wonderful service and tasty food. The waiter was attentive and the food came quickly. We had a lovely evening there and wish we could return.
Wonderful overall. There was an issue with the first soup they brought out to us, but after a request, another was brought out and it was tasty. Atmosphere and service were perfect
I took my seven year old out to dinner. He had the best time making his own Pizza. Our server was very nice.
Overall good experience. Server seemed a little uncertain e g. When I presented a coupon. Food was excellent.
Great meal as always. One of the best restaurants in Orange Beach with great outdoor seating when weather is warmer. Service was good. It can be a little loud when the restaurant is full. We celebrate many occasions here!
Love this restaurant. Good food and nice wine selection. Will definitely be back!
We have always been pleased with Villagio at the Wharf. The food is tasty and well presented. The wait staff does a really good job of serving and also making recommendations.
NYE great time!
We went to Villagio to celebrate New Year's Eve. The dinner was wonderful! The fire roasted lobster tails were prepared perfectly. Because it was New Year's Eve, and even at our early reservation of 6:30 p.m. the place was very busy and staff were staying busy, so service was not as attentive as it has been at other times when we have eaten there. However, the food was excellent, they have a good selection of wines and we did not feel we were being rushed to finish our dinner.
We had New Year's Eve dinner at Villagio's this year. At first I was disappointed as it was a Fixed Menu. We had reviewed the Menu on the website all the way down on our way from Atlanta. The options were plenty on the Fixed Menu so it turned out OK. The food was excellent. We were not rushed at all. The best part of experience was our Waitress, Kristie. She was wonderful and appreciated. We give it two thumbs up. The food, table, service was above par for a New Years Eve dinner, in our estimation anyway. The Oysters were very nice, Rock Lobster Tails were grilled perfectly and the bone in ribeye was cooked perfectly to my request for 125 degrees. Am always impressed with a kitchen that cooks to Temperature versus the Rare, Med Rare type designations because that always leaves things to interpretation.
Had a very bad experience! Contacted restaurant via their email address twice with no response! Will not go back
New Years Eve
Never a disappointment. Food and service always excellent.
Excellent food and service. And great ambience. They were very busy but we were seated and ordered promptly, and our food came quickly. The crab bruschetta as an appetizer was fantastic. The lamb chops and beef short ribs were wonderful. Also a good wine list.
Came for Christmas Eve dinner. They were clearly understaffed which is unacceptable when you are spending that much money. Our poor waitress did a great job considering how slammed she was. The food was great though.
Salmon was above average, but the sides (roasted potatoes and white beets) left a lot to be desired... Potatoes were dry and cold.. The beets were beets, you either like or not.
Very good service and ambiance but food and drinks were disappointing. Wahoo special was overcooked and dry. I ordered it medium, but it came well done. Martini was watered down. Was charged $12.50 for a call brand but might as well have gotten the house brand.
