Village Tavern Scottsdale
Advised the hostess that we were sharing our 26th anniversary with them.. By sheer luck, we walked right in duets another opentable cancellation. Service and food were excellent
Served the previous days prime rib. Overcooked and dry. Thai salad was marginal.
Great best in Scottsdale by far
Enjoyed the Village Tavern. Good food. We liked it so much that we made a reservation for Valentines Day when friends of ours are coming in from out of town.
Good food. Great service
Love the place food was terrific just a little too noisy
It was a great place to meet our visitors. There is something for everyone.
We couldn't have expected more it was very Excellant experience and knowing the health rating was an A was a big plus with us. The food was wonderful the menu was very nice great selection. Highly recommend Calamari and the sandwiches Cuban and chicken club yum
Always fabulous. Special occasion & they made it special!
The waitress was a bit disconnected this time actually. The salmon came out completely dried out. They brought me a new one and took it off the bill but I ate by myself.
We are long time Village tavern customers across 3 states. We enjoy their menu items.
We introduced friends (Village Virgins) the night we came. Our friend wanted to order the prime rib sliders offered on the bar menu but was told we would have to move to the bar/patio to get them. All the rest of our group ordered full price items from the regular menu. Too bad you didn't make our friend happy.
Best pub around-great food, great wine selection, great service
Spacious, friendly, well lighted, and customer focused. Menu is laden with testy choices and sizes for everyone's tastes. Floor layout can comfortably handle any size group. A real go-to place.
My wife and I had an excellent dining experience at the Village Tavern in Scottsdale. My wife had the spinach and mushroom soup and one of the flatbread. I had the French onion soup and the flank steak. All of the food and drinks came out in a timely manner. Our server, Merrissa was top notch. She was very personable and extremely attentive. We always enjoy coming to Village Tavern because the food and service are consistently excellent
Group of six and everyone gets exactly what they want. Great menu and service. Food is consistently good. Enjoyable evening with friends.
VILLAGE TAVERN IS ALWAYS GOOD FOOD AND GOOD SERVICE
Always pleased to dine there. Fine experience every time.
Food was not hot. Onion soup was terrible compared to what I had before. Me chicken was so tough I could hardly cut it, so I only ate a few bites.
Considering that it was New Year’s Eve, we were surprised that our table was ready when we arrived early. We had a great server and our food was delicious. We were not rushed out after finishing. We totally enjoyed our dinner!!
I was looking forward to the seafood and was not very happy with the taste or portions. Geouper was ok and the trout looked like the chef last minute smothered teriyaki sauce over the top. The teriyaki was too sweet and took away from the flavor of the fish and the grouper was small and bland. Village tavern is great for Happy Hour but not so much for dinner.
Excellent grilled Rainbow Trout. Always a winner.
Such amazing food with very affordable prices! :)) Our waitress was amazing as well. Very respectful and sweet. Perfect date spot!
First time we've been here. We really enjoyed the food. Best burger I've had in a very long time.
Great quick bite venue.
Service was excellent. A varied and good menu. Lots of Gluten free options.
Outstanding as usual!
Always the best food
Wonderful as usual!!!!
Yummy food- great ambiance. Always a fun time at Village Tavern.
Village Tavern is a great neighborhood restaurant.
We will continue to return again and again.
Our waiter was obviously new to his position and forgot a couple of things, but he made up for it with his winning personality and willingness to accommodate our requests. Filet was cooked perfectly and the turkey burger was delicious.
Fish and chips, overcooked with too much breading. Slaw was tasteless and terrible. Service good
Family get together over holidays- fun and festive with good food and friendly service
We have dinned at Village Tavern many times over the years and previously found the food good, the service acceptable and atmosphere appropriate for a mid priced restaurant. That was then, but our more recent experiences have not lived up to our expectations from the past. Our most recent dinning there on 12/21 was the third time of separate visits where the food delivered to us was at best lukewarm or cold. It took an excessively long time before we were able to get the attention of our server to notify her of the problem. While we give kudos to the manager who appeared after the complaint and attempted to correct the situation with offers of redone main courses, three of our party members had already eaten the less than satisfactory meals and wouldn't attempt to put down a second portion of the same food. On top of the food issue, we were seated next to a table of four very loud guests, whose presence also detracted from the evening. All and all a very disappointing evening. Will we give it a fourth try?, maybe not.
There was a little mix up and sure enough they fixed it, they apologized and made it right and we werent even expecting that. They have proven time and time again why we love it here. The food is excellent which is a main reason also. Again...best prime rib in AZ. Also, GREAT shrimp scampi!
Always consistently good! Food, service and ambiance.
Trout was delicious . Soups are best in town
We always enjoy the food and ambiance. The hamburger and salmon salad were delicious. The two servers were attentive. The only downside was the very small desert. The hot fudge sundae was barely one scoop of ice cream and we had to hunt for the fudge.
This restaurant is just average. The food was okay and the service was great. The noise level is quite high when people fill the dining area.
Food is great. I've been there many times and love to eat their grilled meatloaf. Go to Village Tavern before the regular dinner hour because it gets so noisy, you'll need paper and pencil to converse. The service was spot-on and food tasted great. Except the green beans, which had been ordered well-done ( had them before) but the second batch brought out was disappointedly just as crunchy and tasteless as the first batch. I ended up not eating them, boxing to-go, and cooking them appropriately at a home left-over.
