Village Tavern Scottsdale
We had to return soup and vegetables because they were almost cold; i.e., not hot enough to eat and enjoy!
It’s always a pleasant experience to dine at Village Tavern. The wait staff is personable, the food is fresh a well prepared and it is easy to sit and visit with friends without any intrusion from the staff.
Best prime rib in the world...seriously! Good baked potato too! Ask for the rolls.and butter...delicious. We have a fave waiter, its Colin, he is the best and if he leaves...we will cry!
Nice place big menu
Great food, great service, extremely reasonable price.
Our server did an OUTSTANDING job!!!! Kept our beverages full and met our every request.
Butter cake is AMAZING!!!!!
The menu has a wide variety of choices with some that are unique.
Always great food. To die for deviled eggs as an appetizer.
Solid food and service at a reasonable price.
Beautiful patio dinner. Food was excellent and ambiance was beautiful. Sunset view even! Got there early enough to pick our own table. Highly recommend the bacon wrapped scallops!
A popular sport centrally located in SCOTTSDALE varied menu contains a plethora of choices. The choices we made were quite good. One is greeted by cheerful, courteous and efficient. Normally service is quite good but our serve was swamped by a table of twelve asking for separate checks. Our serve was apologetic and very courteous so he gets a pass. Even though it took was to long to get served the staff really tried to make it right will definitely return.
Tim was a great server. The Durco pork chop was the best Ive ever had. I’ll be looking god durco pork in Florida.
Prime rib was lukewarm when it was served, although they re-heated it for me it was okay at best. Mac n'cheese and spinach sides were good. Judging from the noise inside, we sat outside which was fine but could not imagine having a relaxing dinner conversation inside the restaurant. The bright spot was our server and her personable approach so I tipped accordingly.
We have been coming here for dinner for many years. We decided to try the Brunch on Sunday. It was delicious! I had the French Toast and it melted in my mouth. My dining partners were extremely happy with their choices too (Huevos Rancheros, & Florentine Omelet). After we ate, we had coffee and lots of conversations. We were never rushed, so it was a relaxing meal. Thank you!
ALWAYS GREAT.OUR SERVER WAS VERY HELPFUL.ADDED HARD BOILED EGG TO MY SPINACH,WHICH WAS GREAT!
I have been a fan of Village Yavern over the years
However their tavern salad is no longer a full salad with a sumptuous amount of iceberg lettuce. It was rather simply the salmon was good but the salad itself scimpy.
Been here numerous times and always yummy. Our server Rachel was attentive.
Service and food was great. Have not been there when it has not been
Great as usual! My daughter loves the kids prime rib...I wish they didnt charge so much for a salad upgrade, but other than that, great food. Colin is the best server!
There are so many tasty menu items to choose from! Try the Butter Cake for dessert (or a midday treat) and you will not be disappointed.
The food is consistently well-prepared! Village Tavern is our choice for special occasions, as well as just an enjoyable meal! Kudos to the chef and bartender!
The entree salad I had was wonderful with all fresh ingredients along with a great cosmopolitan. My 2 guests were equally happy with their meals as well.
I had been looking forward to Chilean Sea Bass, which I had there a few months ago which had been fabulous, but found out the menu has changed and there was no Sea Bass.
Food and service are both excellent! Great variety of menu items to choose from so that everyone will come away happy. I just love the lunch salmon with butter chive sauce. Our server, Art, was very attentive and we enjoyed having him serve our table. Make sure to get a reservation as it gets really busy.
Everything was great except for the noise level but there’s not much you can do about that when people are having fun!
We enjoyed our meals!
We were immediately seated when we arrived. Nice large booth and our waitress arrived in about a minute after we were seated. The waitress took our drink order and ask if we wanted any appetizers.
service and food was very good. Our friend however, didn't like her salad. it was very small for being an entree and not much protein in it.
Slow. Did was just ok. The sever was a great guy but things were slow and the food was just ok. Not bad but not real good
Excellent as always!
Always awesome dining experience.
I’ve had it with this place. Food is mediocre and the kitchen is slower than slow.
The older servers who have been there awhile are good. However the new ones are not trained properly.
There is a large turnover in servers and the customer suffers for it
Too many other places to have dinner
Food was rather tasteless and came to our table cold. Nothing good about eating cold salmon when it supposed to be served warm. In addition we were rushed with ordering our meals. We used to come here quite often, but no more.
Restaurant nice, but service....VERY POOR.... Had to ask several times for iseveral items. One entree delivered about 15 minutes before the others. Sent it back because it was getting cold. I know now not to accept the waiter we had in the future.
We are regular customers at Village Tavern and have dined at Village Tavern for years. This was one of our worst experiences at Village Tavern. We waited over ONE hour for our food. No meal is worth that wait.
Experience always good.
Great location and service. Average food.
Celebrated my birthday. Felt special. Food was delicious and fantastic free dessert.
Our server was funny and intelligent. Food was also great for the value.
Great place to have a bit of everything from soups to steak, service was very good as well.
