Village Tavern Pembroke Pines Ratings and Reviews
Great experience. As usual wonderful food and service. It was my mother's bday and when making my reservation I mentioned that. At the end of our meal we were pleasantly surprised with a hot fudge sundae with a candle in the middle for mom.
First time visiting a Village Tavern. Great atmosphere. Food was really good too! Took a while a server to approach us when we were first seated. Apparently the manager noticed this and offered to pay for our appetizers! We were pleasantly surprised by that! Would definitely visit again!
Made a reservation and still had to wait. Seated for over an hour before getting food and the restaurant wasn’t that packed. My group was satisfied with quality and taste of their food, but some wished for bigger portions. Waiter gave misleading ingredient information for a dish to someone in my group with dietary restrictions. I had a better experience my first time around. I’m a little hesitant to return.
When I think of Village Tavern I think of it as a step above Applebee's, Chili's etc. The environment is nice in Pines but the food just does not live up to the billing. I've been there quite a few times now and the steak is always too salty. Tavern has a reputation is being bit of a cut above but this Pines location always seems to be average for me. At every level.
Happened upon Village Tavern by chance. My boyfriend and I chose between them and The Pub. Boy were we happy we chose Village Tavern. The food is amazing, the service is great, the drink are great... I think you get the idea. Their brunch is one of the best brunch meals I’ve ever had. If I didn’t live 45 minutes away I’d be there every day.
As always I had an excellent experience there. I appreciate that manager walking around to check if everything was okay. The waitress was friendly, patient and knowledgeable about the menu.
Food was just ok. Expensive for what it was. The salmon was extremely salty and when sent back took almost 30 minutes to get the replacement. No one from the restaurant made any attempt to apologize in anyway or even offer any adjustment in the bill considering the rest of the party for was finished eating by the time the replacement salmon arrived
I wanted to have dinner with a friend on nye that I had not seen in a while. Wanted a place we could relax and kick back before the new year. Our waitress Flower was hospitable and funny. She was attentive but was also respectful of our space. We skipped apps and dessert. The seafood Cajun pasta was hot, delicious and fresh. The wine was delicious and served at the proper temperature. The portion was more than enough for us.
Everything is made fresh and from scratch and I think I’ll definitely go back again sometime:)
Good food , good ambiance, great location. very happy
Overall good quality was good. Shrimp scampi pasta overdone and mushy. A bit pricey for what appeared was very rushed
Or improper cooking of meal. My husband’s meatloaf was too salty and overdone. I’d like to say that Service was very good and our server was prompt and courteous and efficient!
My mother loves their Spinach salad there and she doesn't eat as much anymore because she's elderly. The Manager recommended this salad to her months ago and it has become her favorite. When I came into town for the holidays I made a special point of bringing her here. It was the first time in my entire trip that she cleaned the plate and ate everything! Thank you Village Tavern!
Only a few around the country. Try this one out. Great location. Walk around the shops. Enjoy the patio. I must type more words or I am unable to submit. Continue typing until it happens.
My food was good. However, everyone else I spoke to after the fact said they wouldn’t go back there. Complaints ranged from cold pasta to over cooked meat as well as under seasoned food. This was especially disheartening since one of those who was unhappy was my mother, who was celebrating her birthday. I chose this restaurant as one of my few outings all year. I was let down.
we have been in many Village Taverns always very friendly good food good wine list
Amazing food and service! Waiter was super friendly and gave great recommendations. I really appreciate the free mimosa with any food purchase! I recommend the chicken and waffles and side of cheese potatoes!!
Very good food and great wine very friendly staff, we was celebrating our 37th wedding anniversary, will go back very soon with friend.
Love wine Wednesday! 50% off any bottle on the menu. Not like other restaurants where their "wine days" are limited to a small crappy list that is not worth drinking evev at 50% off.
Good location at the edge of a shopping center; out of the way. Nice setting and broad lunch menu with plated entrees, salads, sandwiches and burgers. Quality of food was very good. We had a waitress who was obviously distracted; however, that was not what we observed in other staff. In fact, people who were not our server refilled drink glasses, brought water to the table when requested and picked up the signed check when our server was not present to do these routine task. And it was done with a smile. We ate on the outside enclosed patio which was on the edge of a parking lot but because of the returant's location, noise and traffic were at a minimum.
Overall outstanding! Seated promptly and accommodated quickly even with an infant. Server (Juan) was great. Fast service and very attentive without hovering. Food choices were diverse and all very tasty. Very reasonably priced for the serving sizes and a great wine list. Will definitely be back!
