Hadn't been in a long time, it was late and they were still open, so we sat in bar area. Food and service were great. Would go back.
It was our first time for my husband and myself. The service and food were overall great. Definitely will be coming back.
Top Shelf happy hour was still open when we arrived. Had 2 delicious Mojitos. Appetizer Brie cheese and fruit with crusty French bread. My husband had fish and chips. I had filet mignon tacos. All excellent. The server was late getting our drink orders, others filled in for him. All in all a pleasurable experience.
After bringing VIP guests to Village Tavern last week, my guests couldn’t stop talking about the terrific experience we had. They even asked us to say hello to Mike, Natalie, Patrick Mike quality tastes everything until it’s perfect. When Mike came by our table “Don’t you just love the sauce?” He also said that to me when I ordered the Brussel Sprouts for the 1st time. And the Grouper Hemmingway, and the bacon wrapped scallops, and the Shrimp Rossoto, etc. Everything is soooo delicious and everyone is sooo great! Thanks to Mike, and his team of Natalie, Patrick and our new server Sabrina. Amazing and can’t wait to go back next week.

The food was nothing memorable and the service wasn't great. Literally 5 seconds after being seated, the waitress came over and asked if we had dined there before (which we stated "no") then proceeded to ask if we were ready to order. She came back 2 more times within a matter of 5 minutes asking if we knew what we wanted. Have never felt so pressured to order before. The waitress was then MIA until she came over to clear our entree plates and give us the check. She was short and seemed like she did not want to be there. The highlights of the dinner were the cocktails, even though they were rung up at the incorrect price. Maybe they were having an off night, but considering the subpar service and standard food, I'd probably pass on going back.

Village Tavern is a great restaurant. I’ve eaten there many times and have always been pleased with my meal. It’s a great place to have a party too.
This is the third time we ask for a filet mignon medium and we get rare or medium rare. This last time when they bring back the steak was well done. Do not order any steak; it seams that they don't know how to cook on the grill

Service was really lacking. Our app took so long the waitress came and apologized twice. Then my main course came out wrong. Then our bill came out wrong.

We a had another phenomenal experience. This was another cant miss opportunity with VIP guests from out of town. Their expectations were high as I had been telling them for a month that I would be taking them to the best restaurant they’ve ever dined in. They live in Virginia and have been to all the best restaurants there, Capital Grill, etc. From the moment we walked in, my entourage knew it was going to be special. I believe the key to VT’s success is General Manager/Owner, Mike. He’s an A+ type personality and hires only A+ type people, top to bottom. It starts at the front door with Natalie. A young professional bursting with enthusiasm and a welcoming smile. We got seated in our favorite area at our favorite table. In a blink, Mike visited our table to say hello, catch up with us, and meet my new guests. He makes us feel special and at home. We had Nikki as our server. She is beyond great. Extremely knowledgeable about the menu and specials and must have been reading our minds. Whenever we thought of something to ask her, she appeared. A great great server.
We started with the Prince Edward Island mussels in VT’ signature pesto sauce. My guest, an Army Ranger with 2tours in Iraq, even told Mike he should bottle it and sell it. It’s that delicious. The mussels were the best ever. Scrumptious.
I wanted to try something new on the menu and decided on the Grouper Hemingway in pasta. OMG. Absolutely DELICIOUS. Melt in your mouth good. The Army Ranger has the Entree Ahi Tuna Salad. Sparks flew as he gobbled it down. Stated it was the best Ahi he’s ever had. His girlfriend had the Thai salad. She couldn’t stop raving about it, couldn’t finish it because it’s huge and we took the remainder home. My lady had her favorite, Shrimp Rissoto. It’s another fantastic dish on a fantastic menu. Best in South Florida. That dish is huge too so we took the remainder home. I claim it for lunch the following day and it is beyond delicious.

Well this dinner wasnt at all what we expected. First I had to call the restaurant after we dined so they could check me into my reservation to leave this review. Our server Kyle was just not on his A game. Brought is the wrong cocktail and didnt even offer to get us the correct one, never offered me a refill of my iced tea. Food was even worse. Cajun seafood pasta was just above room temperature and nearly raw scallops. Zucchini and spaghetti squash is flavorless good thing I ordered a piece of salmon if I wouldn't have I would have had anything to eat. To many other options in the area to have bad service and subpar expensive food.
This is One of our favorite restaurants in the shops! Food is always on point!!!
We were a party of 4 adults and 2 children. Because I had made a reservation online, we were seated right away. The wait staff was very attentive and service was excellent. We waited only a few minutes before the appetizers arrived and soon after our entrés arrived and were all very good. The children ordered little pizzas. All in all I think good but a little too pricey because the tab was close to $200.

As always I love their Capresse salad. In my opinion it is one of the best that I have tried. The service was really good too!!!

Good atmosphere for a business dinner or time with friends.
Food was great as was the service. Flank steak was cooked perfectly and the braised beef rib was so soft it could be eaten with a fork. Waitress was very attentive with outgoing personality.
Some of the food came out under-cooked despite an extended wait. Disappointing, but maybe just an off night. Otherwise, the food and service are great.
We went to the Village Tavern for Father’s Day dinner and it was great. There was six of us there so everyone got something different. Everyone really enjoyed their food and our server Nikki was very attentive and super nice. The only thing I would recommend would be making reservations as this place does tend to fill up fast and there was a lot of people waiting for tables. Thankfully we had made reservations😁.

Our family loves having brunch here. We always request Kyle who gives us outstanding service every time. We’ve done dinner here as well. Chefs, servers and food at this restaurant are A+!!! Village Tavern Pines never disappoints!

Our first time here. The food was AMAZING!!! I had chicken parm with a different sauce (pink sauce) my husband has the grouper and we were both very satisfied! We will definitely be going again.

Where do you take your son for dinner when he flys in for Father’s Day and you want to impress him with a “can’t miss” experience of great food and great service? Yes, Village Tavern hands down! This restaurant is simply the very best managed restaurant in South Florida. Mike is on top of everything, a non stop ball of positive energy. From the Kitchen, to the servers, to the bar, interaction with a full house. Just amazing to watch him perform. Mike’s energy translates to servers bending over backwards. The scratch kitchen putting out fantastic, delicious, mouth watering food. Tonight we order Asian tuna sashimi. Top quality, melt in your mouth tuna. Next, Prince Edward Island mussels in the best sauce I’ve ever had. Just succulent. It’s also one of the kitchens that serves a spaghetti squash which I like with the salmon. Everything was perfect. Mike is the key that makes everything else work at a high level. VT has earned the right to be our FAVORITE. Thanks to everyone. We will be seeing you again soon.

Lovely brunch with hubby & friend to celebrate my birthday!
Nice place. Loved the fire pit. Seated in a corner where servers come back and forth, even after making a reservation. The corner is way too tight. Witnessed numerous almost collisions between servers and management.
We were in town for two days and used open table to find a place to eat and chose Village Tavern and it turned out to be a fantastic choice. We had a party of four and between us had the salmon sandwhich, 16oz ribeye, trout, and braised short rib. Everything was a generous portion and no one ended up with any room to try desert but more importantly everything was cooked perfectly, seasoned exceptionally and thats juat the ok part of the visit. Our waitress was easily the most attentive, personable, and knowledgable server we have had in years and thats saying something since we eat out at least 4 days a week every week. The service was simply exceptional. And for icing on the cake Im accustomed to $200-$300 tabs and this came in a just barely over $100
for all 4 of us with drinks and an appetizer as well. If we lived in the area the Village Tavern would certainly be on our list for frequent visits. Our waitress earned the 50% tip she received and then some. Im sure this is a pit stop to a bright future for her and they are lucky to have her but the entire staff was amazing.
Power went out after we got our appetizer. The kitchen couldn’t make hot food for an hour so o my cold food available. Our kids’ food had been made right before the power outage so we were happy it came, but someone accidentally put cinnamon sugar on the fries so they couldn’t even eat it. Apparently this happens there often, so it’s disappointing they don’t have better preparations for it.
