Village Tavern Greensboro
Food and service were good but a little noisy.
Food was amazing and great service. Highly recommend this restaurant.
Loved the food and the service was great. The servers were so attentive and the food was unique and flavorful even in what would be considered a common dish
Had bacon and Brie omelet... way overpriced for the amount of food on plate. Had to ask for the biscuit, then had to ask for butter. Then, the dood was cold. Waitress did not seem to have it together. Came back to table twice with just about empty coffeepot and only filled up cup 1/2 way.. both times because she ran out of coffee..She only had 3 tables, but was so disorganized. Took about 15 minutes to get dessert. Not the usual service nor food that we were used to at VT.
Great as always. We always enjoy this location.
The warm cake with FV ice cream was delicious, but so was everything else, including Maggie, a real asset!
This was our 16th wedding anniversary and we had a great experience.
Great as usual!!
This was my first time at Village Tavern. The food, atmosphere, and our hostess was all great!! We will definitely be back!!
Good food. Good atmosphere
The food was great as usual but the service was just ok. The waitress only came by to refill our drinks once. Not what I’m used to from this establishment.
Great place for lunch. Alex, our server, did an excellent job with food delivery and drink refills.
Went for brunch on Sunday. Food was great. Service was excellent.
Chose this restaurant as a result of ratings on OpenTable. Slightly disappointed considering the good reviews. Arrived shortly after opening and did not receive food until approximately an hour after being seated, even though there were very few customers in the restaurant. Food was good but not hot. evidently they waited until everybody's order was ready before they brought it out which meant items like waffles were barely warm.. the waite staff was friendly but slow to respond with topping off drinks such as water and coffee even though again there are very few customers in a restaurant.
Very crowded but reservation on Friday was a must. Service was excellent. The food, spring rolls, salmon and meatloaf served well to 3 adults. Chicken tenders and cheeseburgers for two boys were devoured.
GET The Crab dip!
Food was great, atmosphere was nice, service was just ok
Village Tavern is always a safe bet for a casual dinner: centrally located with plenty of parking, large menu with choices to please every appetite, friendly and fast service.
Great Omelet had the Brie and bacon and added spinach...yummmy...
Great! Will go here more often.
Server was not on top of things at our table and was too slow. Food was very good and atmosphere is nice.
Thank you for a wonderful birthday and a wonderful atmosphere!
Service was excellent. Food was good but not as hot as it should have been.
Food was good. Although there were problems with our order, they were quickly correlcted.
center tables were very close. waiting staff had hard time getting to other tables. music was very very loud Had a hard time conversing with others at round table. It was so loud "you could hardly hear yourself think."
My date thoroughly enjoyed his entree (blackened chicken alfredo). My entree (Cajun seafood fettuccine) was satisfactory but nothing special. Sandwiches I've had from here were better. I'll stick to the "pub grub" from now on.
Food was fantastic, service was a little slow due to full capacity....would go back, this place is a staple for casual comfort food off of Battleground Avenue
Delicious food, excellent service.... it was just very noisy and difficult to talk without raising one’s voice considerably. Can acoustics in the room be improved?
A friend and I met for lunch. The food was great, as usual.
New waitress...Roxanne I think was her name, was incredible. In fact it was her first night working. She was smart, friendly, efficient and extremely attentive to each persons needs. Never had a server like her at VT. The food is always consistent at VT but the fish and chips were prepared the best that I have ever eaten there. In fact, we eat there regularly and have F & C often. The batter was nice and crunchy and the Cod inside was perfectly cooked. Still moist and hot inside the batter. It takes skill to prepare F & C this way.
A neighborhood gem!
As usual a great dining experience...delicious food and great service
I love going to the village tavern for brunch on Sundays this time I went with my mother ,sister and niece for a girls day and as usual they did not disappoint the service and food was excellent.
The menu was not inviting to me but I can normally find something so I order shrimp and grits and sent it back didn’t like the taste I really believe it was the bacon. So then I ordered salad with grilled chicken and it was bad as well the chicken was dry but by this time everyone was finished so I just paid and left. Waitress was rude
The food was faily good but the waitress we had was not, it was the first time there for the lady that was with me and because of the wait staff unfortunately she probably will not return!
Always great food, no matter what you order!
Glad we made reservations. They got very busy. Our food was delicious and service was good. We were celebrating our son's birthday. We will be returning.
Good food. Nice atmosphere. Great service. Will come again.
