Village Tavern Greensboro
Great experience as usual. The deserts were exceptional!
Also and most importantly:
Heather, our server, was absolutely fantastic. She was pleasant, professional and a delight to be around. Can’t say enough good things about the service.
Great service , amazing waitress will be back !
Tried the new breakfast bowl and loved it except for the sugar coated bacon. Enjoyed a great Bloody Mary...nice and spicy. Looking forward to my next dining experience at Village Tavern.
Always a favorite of mine for patio dining. Took out of town guests this past weekend. They loved it and can't wait to come back! I also love that they are pet friendly on the patio as we take our "boys" on riding excursions with us and love it when they are welcomed at the table.
The service and food are always outstanding as is the selection of beers and ales. Lauren Slusher did a wonderful job as our server; she is a good sport and ahead of every customer request. The manager had everything humming at peak lunchtime. Without seeing the all of the activity, we would have never known just how busy the restaurant was.
This is a usual place that we g out for dinner. We have never been dissatisfied with the food or the service. We did get a pepper grinder that did not work, however, it was replaced quickly. Grace waited on us and was very attentive.
Great as usual!!
Had the Delmonico Ribeye and it was cooked to perfection, the service was excellent and courteous.
Excellent! Food, service and ambience were great. I would highly recommend this restaurant. Very satisfied.
In my opinion few restaurants in Greensboro clicks as many top boxes. Not the fanciest, not the cleanest, not the changing menu but as far as value and consistency, few can compete. Best fish and chips in town so that's basically what I order all the time.
I loved this restaurant, it was a great experience for my first time there!!!!
Father's Day brunch on the patio...perfect weather, great food and service....great place for a celebration!
We've been regulars at the Greensboro Village Tavern for 22 years, and our dogs (two Airedale Terriers) are frequent guests when the patio dining is available. Many of the folks there know us, but on Father's Day, when it was busy, the hostess didn't "get" the need for a table with as few neighbors as possible, and there was a bit of drama getting us relocated to a relatively secluded corner. Shout out to Amy, and the others, who intervened diplomatically, and got us relocated. Otherwise, a perfectly enjoyable experience on a day of some significance.
Food was excellent! Jameson provides great service!
The food was delicious!
Always a good choice. Food is always delicious. The service is top notch in quality while quick and professional. We always ask for Davenport who is outstanding in both service and personality.
Good food, great experience. Parking is a bit of an issue since the new gym has moved in behind the restaurant. Also, lot needs to be repaved. This has nothing to do with the restaurant overall, great quality.
Always very good!
The service was amateurish. Every meal was delivered to the wrong person at our table of four. No ketchup was served with the French fries even though two of us ordered fries. Then when one person requested it, she only brought one serving instead of bringing for the other person also. She may have been new, but she should have mentioned that so our expectations would be adjusted.
Although we had to wait 20 minutes past our reservation, the quality of the food and service made up for the delay. All 6 had a great meal, and our server was very efficient.
The server was absolutely amazing. She took her time and made sure we were taking care of and comfortable. She was the best server I've ever had. Very attentive.
Food was not very good this time. Baked potatoes were cold. Hamburger was over cooked and had no flavor at all. Nothing special, not sure we will go out of our way to return.
We ate here for my mom’s Birthday. She was pleased and so were we.
Love going out with friends to dinner here!
Everything was Great!
Great food - great cocktails. Will definitely go back!!
Calling ahead is always a good idea as VT is busy any day of the week, due to wonderful menu and service
The food was absolutely delicious. My son and I shared the hot crab dip as an appetizer, which was melt in your mouth good. The teriyaki filet mignon was better than I’ve ever tasted. My only dislike was that our waitress acted as if she didn’t want to even serve my son and I. I’ve never had that while dining anywhere. It is why I cannot give the full experience five stars. Everyone else however, exceeded my expectations.
Celebrating my girlfriends birthday
Great meal, as always!
Randall did a great job taking care of us for service. The food that night was the best ever. You could tell the food was delivered promptly and very fresh. Best burger/ fries in Greensboro according to my husband. Just a great experience for dinner and very reasonably priced.
Wonderful food, wine and time getting to see friends!
Service was extremely slow for the amount of people there. We had to wait about 30 min for our order of salad and eggs Benedict.
Good experience great food as always. One of my favorite places to eat.
Tomato basil soup is yummy! Carmen the hostess was very pleasant and had a seemingly genuine interest in our dining experience.
We really liked our waitress! The good was great, as usual.
I simply love dining at Village Tavern. This time me and my husband, had a great experience as usual. First of all, we were seated right away, since we had reservation and then we had great food combined with great service. We both ordered fish tacos as our main entree and they were simply amazing!! I also enjoyed triple berry cosmo and plan to be back sometimes soon....
It was great! We ate on the patio and it was a great setting.
I wanted a mid priced, good-value restaurant. The Village Tavern is exactly that. We ordered cocktails which were very good. Our waitress was super: friendly, informative, quick to respond to requests. My son ordered the chicken marsala which he said was good. He ate every bite. I ordered an Asian chicken salad and while there were lots of greens and edamame which is good, there were only 3 little pieces of chicken, each about the size of a thumb. I pointed this out to our waitress and she immediately brought a plate with a generous serving of the chicken to add to the salad. The chicken was dry but the peanut dressing was very tasty. The service, generous portions, family environment more than made up for any less-than-perfect food.
