The food was great. We were all just a little disappointed on how the service went. We were double charged for certain items that we were not supposed to be... The one steak was sent back because of how rare it was then was heated up to be dry on the outside and still having a pulse in the inner. We were all pleased with the food minus that hiccup. When we were all told the manager wanted to comp our desserts we were still charged and told it was just for the one steak that was cooked poorly. None of us would have ordered dessert had we not been told that and when would brought it to their attention we were told a different story. We did call today and went over the bill with a different manager and she was great and took care of the mistakes the previous older male manager whom was too incompetent to handle. Thank goodness for Christie!!! All in all, Food was great, Jessica H was horrible, Manager was a stickler, and Never reheat a $30 steak to make it dry on the outside and beating on the inside... Just cook a new one the way it was supposed to be done in the first place. Thank you Christie for all your help today.
Village Tavern is a favorite of ours. Food is consistently good and servers are friendly. It’s our go-to spot for special occasions.
Food was great, but service was terrible. Brandon was our server. Not sure if he had too many tables, people to wait on, or if he was slow. It took a while to get our water and first drink. Our food was delivered by someone else. We finished eating and not once did Brandon check to see how our food was or if we needed another drink. My drink was empty for 15 minutes. To top if off, he was rude and never apologized.
An upscale restaurant with a wide variety of food choices. Great appetizers and a fairly large wine menu.
Village Tavern once again exceeded our expectations. Service, food and ambiance all excellent!
The Crab Cakes are some of the best ever! A complimentary Mimosa or Bloody Mary is included!
We are fans, even though we have to drive 45 miles to dine there.
Village Tavern continues to be an excellent restaurant with a diverse menu, nice ambience and great service. Great prime rib, sea bass, filet, and burger. Good wine and cocktail choices. I like how they update the menu with new offerings as well.
We really enjoyed dinner here Friday night. Great service and delicious food
Its was fine for a special occasion but couldn't afford it too often . Food was good, waiter only came by twice.
Food was surprisingly good. Service was speedy and professional.
Bear (our waiter) was great and so was the food. We've enjoyed the place before and will again, no doubt.
Sat at the bar for dinner. Notice that the bartender was a bit abrupt. They had a limited selection of beers on tap. I ordered the ribeye and it was average. The steak is reasonably priced compared to other steakhouses in the area.
This was a business lunch for a meet and greet. Great atmosphere and the food was great.
This will be a top choice of places to have other meetings.
Brunch with a complimentary mimosa (with food purchase) is the best!
Everything was very good. The food and service were very good. Only problem was the air tempeature in the section we were seated in. Everyone around us was very cold. We left early because of the tempeature!
This chain restaurant is very nice-looking, and service is friendly, but the food was a major disappointment: I requested that my salmon be cooked medium and it came over-cooked and dry. Such a sad waste of seafood. The restaurant should train the cooks on how to do seafood or else take it off the menu. It was accompanied by a mushy couscous and veggie combo, but the green beans on the other side of the salmon was terrific: vibrant green, crunchy--very well cooked, as if by someone other than the person who ruined my salmon and the couscous. My husband's crab dip and Caesar salad were just okay.
Excellent meal. Varied menu that never disappoints. Their carrot cake is outstanding!
The flank steak is amazing
Was pleasantly surprised at how good the food tasted. have not been there for a couple of years will definitely go back. Service was great
Our go to restaurant at Flatirons. Consistent food & service is always good.
Always good. Good drinks, very good apps, and even better entrees in a lovely setting.
This was my first time at Village Tavern and I was very happy. The service was fantastic and the staff were very friendly. We asked about gluten free and were given menus, which had some great selections. Our meal was delivered very quickly and was delicious. The filet was cooked to perfection and was very tender. My friend's ribeye was delicious as well. I don't think the price was that bad either, as I've spent and equal amount at chain restaurants. I saw other things I would like to try so I'll be going back.
This was our second visit. Both times, we had excellent service and wonderful meals. We will definitely go again.
Mussels were delicious as usual.
Cobb salad was excellent as well.
Great service. Good food. Lots to choose from!
All of our meals were very good but the appetizer of crab dip left much to be desired. No seasoning and it just didn't taste as good as we expected. Besides, the waiter recommended it.
Never disappointed. Good service. Delicious menu. Great martini's!
Have been here many times and thought the food and service was awesome. Some people's food was very disappointing and the service very slow. The flank steak was very tough.
I might try the restaurant again to see if it was just a bad night.
Excellent service from waiter Chris in the outdoor patio, where one tends to be ignored in some establishments. Excellent entree salads.
Always a great, consistent experience. Whether we are having dinner on the patio in the summer or by the fire in the winter, the experience and food are always great!
There are plenty of choices on the menu of different varieties, which usually doesn't happen with a short(er) menu like they have. I had the cheeseburger, and while that sounds boring, it was very good. We had the Brie appetizer and that was very good too. All 4 f us seemed to enjoy the meal.
Sat outside and the wait staff was very attentive and had no problems there. Only thing that wasn't awesome was the fact that the outdoor patio is along the path from the parking lot to the main part of the mall. For whatever reason, we had several (like 5) different families stop and attend to their screaming children, right next to the patio. Rather weird that they all decided to do that there. Other than the mall goers being completely oblvious to everyone around them (as is typcial) it was a pleasent experience, good food and great service. I would recommend it to my friends who are in the area.
This is my go to - we always try other places and end up coming back here. Great food, great value and consistent service and quality. What's not to like!
Went with family. Very enjoyable. Food and service were very good.
This was our first visit and we really enjoyed the food! The prime rib is wonderful! It was also half price wine night; what could be better!
Village Tavern was a perfect place to meet a friend.-wanted to meet somewhere half the drive distance for both of us.
The Sunday Brunch /Lunch menu had a nice variety. We had breakfast.-Crab Eggs Benedict and Spinach Omlette. Delicious!!
Our server was very attentive and friendly. Restaurant has nice patio and nice décor.
Although the restaurant is 50 miles away it was well worth the drive. Will definitely go again. Wish there was one closer to home!
We went here for my daughters birthday. There were 6 of us and the food and service was great.
There is nothing outstanding about the food. Basic food, without much flair and creativity. However, the service was great. The server we had on the patio was great, and fun to talk to. She made the entire dinner more enjoyable for my wife and I, and went a long way to make us forget the average food.
We had not been to the Tavern in quite a bit. The food was always average. This trip was different. The food was very high quality. To a person at our table (4), each meal was good size, and very tasty. Beer and wine menu is good, and the service was good. We plan on going back soon.
Wonderful food, presentation and great for group or small gathering. Nice kids selections...mac and cheese...cannot go wrong. Just a little too much noise.
We've been here a handful of times over the years. This time the service was not great. Food- very good. Hopefully it was just an off day. However, not sure we'll return. There are so many great options in the area.
Food was very good as usual, our server was very attentive and right on, drinks were good and everything was priced reasonably. I'd definitely go back.
