   For me the price tag means exemplary food. I paid $100 for wagyu and scallops. The scallops were overdone which is a crime. The wagyu was nothing special. My son had the fried Chicken which were slightly overdone but still tasty. My other son had a wagyu burger he said was very good. My daughter has a Ny strip. It was $60 and it was very tasty!! The chimichurri was outstanding however the steak was cooked med well and not med. She liked it Good enough. And yes we probably should have sent it back. But when you're with a group, you don't always want to do that. My mother-in-law had the salmon which she also said was good. I know you pay for the ambiance but the food didn't match. The pretzel charcuterie board was good except for I had this funky bologna type meat that was not great. Spinach dip was probably some of the best I've ever had. The vibe the place. Very cool!! The service.. top notch!!

   Solid spot as always. Great vibe, wonderful service and food is always on point. It is not the cheapest but you are coming here to get an incredible meal with a great atmosphere.

   Trevor put up with my family's tipsy nonsense like a CHAMP. SUCH a good time. That is not a tall order. 😄

   The food quality was not worth the price. The menu was a lot of “show” with poor quality. The interior experience was distasteful and way overdone. Service was ok, but the “founder” story was unnecessary and way overdone. No need to brag or boast - maybe just invest in the food quality to create an experience people remember.

   We love this restaurant for Lunch. We always go on Wednesday for 1/2 price bottles of wine. Today was a bad experience. I made this reservation 2 weeks ago for a specific table and when we arrived the table was occupied. I mentioned it to the gentleman that was at the desk and asked him to review the reservation. He did and said that yes it had been requested by me but someone made a mistake and gave our table to other guest. No apologies were given and seated us at another table. Then when we tried to order wine from the list, three of the wines we requested were not available. I understand but why was the list not updated? This has happened to us twice in the last year and I don’t understand the problem happening again. Why even ask for special requests if you are not given the request. Just no happy today at one of our favorite restaurants .

    We love the Village Anchor and the food, atmosphere & the employees! The brunch is always delicious and on point! It’s our favorite place to go on the weekends!
