Villa Roma Restaurant
Great dinning place good food and ambience hv
The owner only waited on Caucasian tables that were seated with families or the elderly. He went out of his way to ignore everyone else, especially couples, Asians and Hispanics. It’s obvious he only cares to get more tips. He tried way too hard attending to his favorites by bringing out their dishes and refilling their glasses of wine while everyone else was hungry waiting for their food. He made eye contact with us several times but never came by to see how everything was and kept attending to Caucasian parties.
Loved our dining experience!
Great food and great service!
Great food, excellent service, nice music - we all had a good time.
Villa Roma is an excellent Argentinian - Italian restaurant. You have many choices to pick from their vast menu. Their preparation of their food is very good and also a very nice atmosphere. They have a pretty good wine list to choose from. Their waiters are very, very good and attentive. You do not feel rushed when you are there. You cannot go wrong in having lunch or dinner at the Villa Roma.
WE enjoyed our brief stay at Villa Roma. We were in a conference and only a little bit of time to spend. Otherwise we enjoyed the ambiance and the taste of the food. The service was quite good also. Thank you
People were nice enough. However the place looked like a retirement home inside. The food was overpriced, mediocre, and the service was slow. There was a bowling-alley-style light display and overly loud music. They also stopped everything 3 times to sing happy birthday to people.
Can't tell from the outside, but this is a very nice restaurant on the inside. Delicious food, great portions, great service. My friend had the lamb chop special - 4 or 5 chops with a delicious sauce plus veggies. I had the Villa Roma Scampi w/equally delicious sauce plus veggies. Too full for dessert. All the food passing us by looked amazing. Highly recommend
First let me say the service was excellent! The food, however, was disappointing. Especially the pasta dishes. Twice I’ve ordered a pasta with shrimp dish and regretted it both times. The pasta was undercooked (I get that some people like “al denté”, but when your pasta crunches when you bite into it you’re entering the raw department), and yet the shrimp were rubbery and overdone. We also ordered the signature meat dish for 2, and it was a mishmash of meats that looked thrown together. It was okay—not great. Overall, the atmosphere was good and the servers were excellent. One dish that we did enjoy was the calamares Fritos, which was lightly fried perfectly and served with a very tasty marinara sauce.
we are very disappointed that our reservation to celebrate our engagement with dear friends was ruined because no one informed us they had canceled our reservation due to filming .
unfortunately my fiance can not stay outside for long periods of time due to severe light sensitivity.
so we could not take the alternative of eating outside .
such poor service will not gain any good reviews from us and we will definitely not recommend the establishment to others.
we will not be recommending this location to our respective companies as a suggestion for company dinners or catering .
especially since we received no apology for our wasted time .
Excellent service. Outstanding food with a tremendous variety. Entertainment was great. We enjoyed our evening very much.
We love the Entrana. Large portion of skirt steak made to order with delicious chimichurri sauce. The we had to save room for flan with caramel and whipped cream dollop. Yum.
Majority of the dishes are Italian, and very tasty. Veggies were undercooked, not so tasty. Fried potatoes as side dish to Veal Parmesan seemed a little odd? Argentine dishes are limited and pricey. Would love to see more Argentine options, better pricing.
Overall experience was wonderful!
Always great! Consistently good food and service with a great wine list
Great food, big dishes and great atmosphere. They HD live music on Friday night which was awesome
Family dinner following graduation. Spanish tortilla and caprice salad were delicious appetizers. All enjoyed their meals from Chilean sea bass to basic pasta. Service was excellent.
Very courteous and attentive staff! The empanadas are amazing and they know how to cook meat!
Excellent taste and quality. Great Argentinian style steaks!
Unique for Orange County because it seems like a European restaurant. Usually very busy with a lot of Spanish and Italian conversations. Festive atmosphere and entertainment. Make reservations!
Great brunch at Villa Roma. The food was delicious. The service was very good.
Had brunch there for Mother’s Day! Far too expensive!
We’ve been looking for an authentic Italian restaurant in Orange County and Villa Roma is it! The food was beautifully presented and very tasty. We ate early because it was Saturday and Mother’s Day weekend. It’s obviously a place where people go regularly. There’s a covered patio and several large booths. The Tiramisu is made in house - one of the best we’ve ever had.
Terrific food and service! Absolutely order the empanadas and skirt steak. Delicious!!
Easter buffet at Villa Roma was outstanding! We enjoyed the delicious paella, roast beef and other delicacies. We will make it our Easter tradition to have lunch at Villa Roma.
Very reasonable prices on both food and wine. Very attentive service. Surprisingly good pizza
Experience overall was very good. We shared an Antipasto and Chicken Parmigiana. Both were nice sized portions and very tasty. I was surprised that the parmigiana came with potatoes and vegetables rather than pasta. The waiter indicated that if I requested pasta it could be served that way.
Four of us hadn't been to Villa Roma in a few years so we decided to go again. I was a little surprised by the new look with two very long sets of tables in the middle of the dining room and a huge TV screen at one end of the room (playing soccer telecast). Two of us ordered a special which was (supposed to be) a Maine lobster tail, mashed potatoes and asparagus. The lobster tail was stacked on top of the potatoes and asparagus. Both of us noted that the lobster tail was seriously overcooked; tough and even hard to cut with a knife. We told our server when he asked how everything was but he didn't offer to do anything about it. Later, we told a manager and she took off the price of the two meals. But frankly, we would rather have had a nicely cooked lobster tail.
Missed a romantic atmosphere but our server was excellent (Pedro). Rigatoni with Sausages was average, wine average, prices a bit above average.
