We left without eating. The place is under renovation and menu was very limited. Opentable should have known about this.
Great food . Great service
We've eaten here before and enjoyed our meal but don't think we'll be back. The service was mediocre at best. A few of us ordered spinach with our meal, only to find out after about 30 mins they were out of spinach (and the restaurant was empty). They had no sparkling water (and didn't have any when we were there a few weeks ago). Its an open kitchen and the smoke was pretty bad. We've never had that happen. I kept wondering if the kitchen was on fire. Sad to say but skip it...
We booked thru open table based on other reviews and we we so pleasantly surprised. We've been back a few times with different friends and the food has been consistently delicious. We've now added this restaurant to our list of regulars.
We came here for a birthday celebration, all our food was good but one dish with seafood was outstanding! It was a nice evening and there was a band playing which was a little loud for dinner but people liked the music and some were up dancing. The bar seemed busy and nice also!

It was one of the most delicious Italian food meals that I have had in a real long time with a very nice portion.
Food,ambience, and service was very good. The shrimp in the special of the night were outstanding. All in all..a very enjoyable evening for the four of us. We will be back.

It was really nice to find a restaurant that has really nice values when it comes to service. Our waiter was very attentive and the food was excellent, especially the sausage and peppers appetizer.

New Chef is AMAZING!!!! New fav spot!!! Owner came over and bought us a drink also. Very kind and warm. Food is top notch and cant wait for specials next week!
Just moved from Chicago to Parkland. My wife and I were hungry so we went looking around the area for restaurants. We came acroos one that was closed and were told to go across the way, and im glad we did. We were greeted by a host who was very friendly. They had live music (im not sure which nights). Chef came over and introduced himself. Plus one on that. Dining room didn't have a lot of tables so I was hesitant on staying but my wife gave me the look so we stayed. Our server came over and welcomed us with a warm smile. We ordered our drinks and heard all the specials. Wow they all sounded good, and take in mind i was hungry, so i ordered Meatballs, Calamari, And Pear Pasta. UNREAL!!!!! It was so good I ordered extra to take home. Dinner we had Salad, Veal Chop, Chicken Parm, and Penne Vodka. I was so full but couldnt stop eating. It was so delicious. Why isnt this place jam packed?????? All in all i highly recommend this place. 5 plus stars in my book!
Not impressed. Absolute waist of time. Bread service and appetizer (baked clams) good, everything went downhill from there. Ordered a snapper dish with tomatoes and olives, got snapper franchisee. Ordered broccoli, ran out??? Everything was way over salted. The ironic thing is - I love salt. My daughter ordered veal Marsala - tasteless. We were one of two tables - now I know why.
They start out with out of the oven bread, but just sliced bread
We had meat balls appetizer, that was good, and a Ceasar Salad...had no taste at all
Specials ..one person had Chilean sea bass good, another had special pork chops, not good
We had a veal Marsala..it had 3 pieces in it, 1 tough as nails the others were good, and a veal parm..same problem, 1 good piece, 1 bad...to inconsistent for $100+, a couple meal

If you have a choice between Villa Patrizia and a hot dog cart, definitely choose the hot dog cart! On a Saturday night you would think the restaurant would be crowded, not Villa Patrizia and now I know why. Extremly noisy when you enter with a not so crowded bar, dining tables in the rear which had 20 to 25 tables and an open view to the kitchen. Maybe 5 of those tables had patrons. There were more staff milling around than people having dinner. We ordered 4 dinners, only 3 came..."we forgot to order yours" was the comment, "we'll put the order in right now". After 10 minutes, I told the head waiter to forget my dinner since the rest of my party already ate. No apology, no we're sorry, no we'll give you dessert. Nada, nothing! (and from what I did taste, everything was OVERLY salty.) After asking for the check we were informed that they were not charging us for the meal that never came. WOW, how considerate of them. By the way, our young waiter, who was terrific, was extremely embarrassed and very apologetic. The rest of the management... not so, couldn't care. In addition the owners should take a look at their prices, way to high for what they're serving. Never again to the Villa Patricia, be warned... stick to the hot dog cart you'll be much happier.
We frequent this restaurant a lot- had a party there for 30 people and they were great! Music on Friday night & fabulous wait staff that made great suggestions!
we went on a friends recommendation. The restaurant is easy to find with plenty of lot parking. Nice interior. Tables can be a little close together. The food was perfecto. Fresh ingredients were used in every order. The Caeser salad was the best I have ever had. Very crisp Romaine with just the right touch of anchovies and cheese. I had chicken franchase for dinner. It was a very large portion. The taste of fresh lemon was a beautiful accompliment. Our waiter was outstanding with out being intrusive. Yes, the prices are a little high, but remember you are getting top quality ingredients.
All four of our meals were very good and the service was fine. But owners need to decide if they want to be a nice restaurant or a night club. We were hoping for the ambiance of Renzo's of Parkland, in a space that provides a full liquor license and more visibility. But now the dining area is large, too bright and too noisy. There is no ambiance. The band in the bar area started playing about 8pm. With the doors to the dining room shut we still had to shout through dinner over the band, not what we wanted to do during prime Sat night dining hours. Then we were offered a "shot" of some sort of flavored vodka, in a plastic cup no less! A nightclub move, not a nice dining room offering. The whole vibe was distasteful. Its too bad because the food was good.
Our family went for a Mother's Day celebration and we left very happy and said we would be back.
Service was outstanding and owner came to our table twice to make sure we were happy and personally gave me and my daughter a rose when we left.
Food was delicious and the portions were huge. Bread was perfect.

Unfortunately this restaurant is trying to get away from the old bella sera persona but falls very short. Prices are better, but food was not very good. At 7:15 they were already out of meatballs! An Italian restaurant out of its signature item sobearly on a Frday night? Not a good start. All our dishes were disappointing. Too much sauce, not enough substance. Taste was average. We are sorry to say we wont be back after having been there several times hoping for imorovement.
Decided to give this place a try after multiple references from friends, and glad we did. We met the owner, Patrizia, who was a sweet heart of a person. Made us feel at home. I really liked the ambiance of the bar and had a nice selection of wine. They had a private room available for parties and large patio seating. Food was top notch and the portions were large enough to share. We tried the eggplant appetizer and stuffed chicken dinner, which we would not hesitate to order again. Service was very attentive. Definitely will recommend this place for a nice night out, or even just to stop in for some drinks at the bar.
Only two tables were occupied - ours and another (4 people and 3 people). Waiter gave us our menus and came back to ask for our order . I asked if there were specials since he didn't mention them. He then said "oh yeah. And couldn't remember most of them - he described the lamb dish as "rack of lamb with some good stuff" and stumbled over the others. We ordered coffees. He forgot the order and had to come back (there were 3 of us!). His head was somewhere else. Food and everything else was 3-4 star, but they need to hire professional waiters if they are going to charge professional prices.
Went for dinner on a Sunday night. Absolutely dead; we were the only table in the cavernous, poorly-decorated dining room. No ambiance, although the service was very attentive. To be fair, the food was delicious and the portions were enormous.
Unfortunately, the food came with an enormous price tag as well. NY prices in West Boca/Parkland. For example, an a la carte steak was listed on the menu for $42. We decided to order something less-pricey, a $22 veal parm (still alot) for me, my wife ordered the fish and shrimp oregenato "special". Naively we didn't ask price on the special before ordering. Surprise when bill came - $53.,95 for the special!!
This place needs to decide what it wants to be when it grows up. From what I could figure out the owner was dressed very elegantly with pearls. The gentleman that sat us had in a button down shirt and jeans. Are you trying to be a fine Italian restaurant or a sports bar? There were 4 tv's with different sports on. Then the bar, a rock band playing. Seems like 3 separate places all in one small space. It doesn't work. No continuity. Very loud restaurant. 2 out of the four of us enjoyed the food. I ordered the filet with mashed potatoes and green beans. The filet was so overseasond. The mashed potatoes were dry. The green beans were good. My water glass was empty for at least 10 minutes. My husband would have liked freshly treated cheese on his veal parmisian. He saw other waiters offer. Ours did not. Again, no continuity. I rarely leave bad reviews. In most restaurants the waiter asks at the end of the meal, how was everything? He did not. Seeing my half eaten piece of steak, all the mashed potatoes, all there except a couple of bites, still there, instead he said, "Ya done"? If he would have asked, I would have told him instead of leaving this review. believe the bad reviews.

Food was good. Prices are fairer than previous, Bella Sera. Same wait staff who we loved before. Audrey, Mike, Matthew... You guys rock!!
One recommendation: the owner should be inside greeting customers at their tables, introducing herself, and thanking them for the patronage. Instead she is sitting outside in the front of the resteraunt chain-smoking. Gross!!! Not what you want to smell when you are about to spend $$ on fine dining. Just my humble opinion.
The food was very good, but very overpriced for what they give you. They should at least include a small salad with the main course to charge these prices.
First try and we were very pleased with the quality of food and the service was outstanding. However, the restaurant caters to a crowd that loves noise and would be concerned on a revisit about the DJ and rap music tunes accompanying my fine Italian fare.

Ate at the successor restaurant Renzo's of Parkland this summer and www well pleased. We came here on Saturday night with friends and were quite disappointed. They had a very large and loud band during dinner, not approiate for dinner time. Service was spotty at best, the waiter had no clue and it took at least 15 minutes to receive the bottle of wine we ordered. Food was so so.
I really don't think I would go back or recommend it to anyone else.

PARKLAND WANTS EXCITING FOOD NOT OLIVE GARDEN BORING MENU. I DID NOT SAY ANYTHING AND ALAS HE SOLD BELLA SERA. NOW WE HAVE A NEW NAME, WEAKER MENU, MEDIOCRE FOOD PREP AND WEAK,STAFF IN THE SAME LOCATION WITH A PIANO PLAYER!!!! UNLESS THE NEW OWNERS MAKE THE ABOVE CHANGES THE VILLA WILL SOON BE GONE !! PLEASE LISTEN !!!
