   We made a last minute reservation for Mothers Day. Upon arrival they seated us in the quaint room, very cozy that looks out over 17th Avenue. We loved it. The food was great and the service even better.We didn't feel rushed, enjoyed our meals and our evening was capped off with complementary Lemoncello. A great reminder of our trip to Italy last year and all the wonderful comp lemoncello there. We will be back and highly recommend it to all!

   It's an ok place. They were out of any of the beer I wanted but the wine prices were generally ok. The appetizers were just ok and nothing special, especially the quality of the ingredients. The mains were also just ok. Most at our table ordered veal and it was tough so I assume a red veal vs white. Again lower quality. The sauces on the veal were good but they were skimpy on the accompanying veg and sides. For the price there are better places for Italian food.

   Maria prepared us a beautiful meal. In fact we asked her just to feed us. Amazing food. And don't forget Danny. Excellent service good wine and family treatment.

   Love the new location! The space is really bright and modern. Food and service are still excellent! It will be really nice to sit on the patio in the summer and people watch.

   We always enjoy eating at Villa Maria and the new space is even more inviting. Loved the salsa dancing later on too!

    This was my first time back to Villa since they moved to 5th street. And wow! They really changed it up. Not the food because it was already amazing but the overall feel! It now has this contemporary aura and look that can top most Calgary restaurants. Wonderful place! Have lots of memories of Danny and crew at the previous location but I know this one will make even more! We ordered the Bruschetta Trio, Meatballs, Risotto AI Funghi and Gemelli Alfredo with Chicken (if available). Delicious food!
