This is one of my favorite restaurants. It is pricey so we only visit on special occasions or for a special night out. Every time I've been, I have NEVER been disappointed!
Great restaurant and buffet. We had Mother’s Day breakfast there and it was great. I have a 6 and 3 year old hat loved the pancakes and fruit.
I think is not much selection of food for the price should not be a buffet because buffet is a lot differents options of food

Awesome experience again. One of our favorite places to eat. Went for our wedding anniversary and was treated great! The Anniversary cake was delicious! I do miss the Tres Leche at the dessert bar. Had to pay for tea. Thought that was included before. Will definitely be back.
I would not recommend this restaurant they do not validate your parking as the other two restaurants in the hotel do and the food was very limited for dinner compare to passed visits

While the actual menu presentation was nothing to write home about, the food was adequately prepared and there was plenty of it. Was surprised there was no carving station and there was no ham to be found! Couldn't believe that! The bread selection was all right. Lots of sliced bread - muffins and one selection of miniature Danish pastry. The cold meat section was good, including the smoked salmon. The bagels were the made from pastry type dough rather than the actual real bagel dough. On the whole, the buffet was ordinary.
Asked if I could get a poached egg and they accommodated the request. It was served to the table. There were two - cooked perfectly and delicious.
Of course, it was Easter and the decorations were done well, especially the array of Easter eggs.
Very busy as it was Easter Sunday. Lots of children running around. We were seated in a quieter area but seemed far from the breakfast buffet. The Easter brunch could have been started earlier than 12:00, there were many many diners that would have preferred that. Reservations for the Easter brunch were impossible to obtain...
We had a wonderful brunch as always but would’ve like desert to be available before noon.

Our server Rad was attentive and on point. The food was wonderful and delicious and the atmosphere was great. Me and my children really enjoyed the dining experience and will return.
Eggs-Stravaganza. Characters were professional and very interactive with the children. It made for great entertainment over an extended breakfast. The price of parking is not family-friendly and the price charged for children’s food is outrageous for anyone under six. The price of adult buffet would be much more palatable at approximately $25. I’m aware you’re paying for a lot of ambience, but it prices the experience out of the budget of most people who would enjoy sharing a venue such as this with children. I would recommend anyone interested in going to this facility park down the street and utilize either a cab or an Uber and it would be much more economical.
So overpriced! $39 for kids 11 and older is a little ridiculous. Server was not attentive and all he had to do was bring drinks. Fairly good choice of food but not many options for kids. Use Uber Eats if you are trying to stay at the resort and not break the bank.... you still would end up ahead.
We have brought many people here for brunch and it is were we take our grandsons all the time for brunch they love it.

At $40 a person for a breakfast buffet- that should be clearly advertised to patrons. We had a college group and that was excessive for breakfast but they did not know until we were already seated. The veggies in the omelet bar were raw in the omelets. Pretty disappointing.
Buffet style breakfast. Good for fruit and cold cereals. All buffet hot items were served cold. Omelet station was good.
The prime rib was good, but that’s about it. I wont Return. Definitely not worth the price. Not much variety either and nothing for children.
Great setting - first class service from Ali ,who was most attentive . Buffet was most impressive - super selection- all very fresh and replenished quickly! Definitely will return soon!
We have enjoyed Villa de Flora for many years. We always enjoy the experience. The staff members are very nice and they seem to know what you need for them to do. They are congenial and helpful. I really like the ambiance and the manner in which the food is exhibited. It makes it fun to try the various dishes and go back for more! It was another great experience at Villa de Flora. I do want to mention that I wouldn't keep coming back to the Villa de Flora at Gaylord Palms if I would have to pay an exorbitant amount for parking at the hotel. I think that the Gaylord Palms needs to keep making sure that the parking tab is taken care of if they want local residents to come there to eat at their restaurants.
We were at Sun brunch. We usually really our annual vacation brunch but this year it was rather ordinary. The salads were not replenished in a timely manner. The line for an omelet was so long each time we got up that we just gave up. The pork loin was very dry. Every time we needed something we actually had to track down our server. Just not up to usual standards.
Dinner buffet food not impressive/very limited. Extremely poor value for families with preteens who are still charged adult price. Service was outstanding and breakfast there has always been good!

Cesar was the best waitor we have ever had going out to eat. So attentive to us with our 6 year old son and also my wife who has celiac disease. Cesar should be recognized for his excellence.

Best buffet you will ever go to, trust me. They have simply everything. It is worth the drive no matter how long. AMAZINGLY GOOD
Range of food options fairly limited but quantities good. The entire evening was ruined however by the ridiculously exhorbitant parking fee of $24. The last time I dined here parking fees were waived for diners. As there were very few people in the dining room I now understand why. This restaurant used to be very busy and used/recommended by people living locally. Clearly this totally unreasonable parking charge will completely deter anyone not staying at the hotel from booking any of their dining experiences. I have never had to pay for parking at a restaurant that I am already paying a lot of money to eat in...and now never will. Pity, as it looks as though the hotel needs the customers.
Villa de Flora ia a favorite of our family. We love almost everything about it, and dine there regularly, whether we are staying at the Gaylord or not. The tomato basil soup is our teenager's absolute favorite, and he looks forward to having it every time. For spring break this year, his request was to stay at the Gaylord and eat "his" tomato soup at Villa de Flora. Unfortunately, this time, the famous soup was not on the buffet. We have been there countless times, & it's ALWAYS there...so we were surprised, disappointed and were chatting about that as we stood there looking for it. (The other two were very good, but not what he had been looking forward to) We were not complaining loudly, nor speaking to anyone other than each other, but one of the employees, Maria, overheard us and asked if she could help us. We explained we were looking for the favorite soup, and kind of chuckled about the fact that we had picked a night it was not served when it was our main reason for going. She apologized, we of course said "no problem, we will be back another time for sure". It was literally a 20 second chat, and we went on with our dinner. A little bit later, Maria and our server came to our table with a big crock of THE TOMATO SOUP, and gave it to our son!! Maria had taken it upon herself to tell the chef about his disappointment and the chef made a special serving of it just for him!!! We we SO surprised and touched by that kind gesture. We would never have asked for special treatment or for the employees to go out of their way for us, but they did it on their own! We can't even express our thanks enough. We have told this story everyone we know & recommended they go! What an asset Maria and that chef are to your company! Please give them our thanks again, recognition and huge KUDOS (and maybe a raise? lol!) for how special they made our family feel. We are loyal Marriott guests and this kind of service is one of the reasons. Thank you again!
Service at all the Gaylord restaurants is consistently fantastic, year after year. My only complaint is that I wish there was an option to order smaller portion breakfast items from a menu as most other restaurants with a buffet option offer. When you're with a mixed group for breakfast, not everyone has the same appetite to justify a $30 per person spend.
It was later in the night. It seemed that the staff was more interested in getting the dining room prepared for the next day. I had to wait at the carving station for over 5 minutes for someone to come from the kitchen to carve some meat. Overall this was a pleasant experience.
Better than we expected! We stay at the Gaylord a couple times a year and have avoided this restaurant because the food had not been that great in the past. There were plenty of good options for our dinner. The waiter ‘ Angel’ took time to offer a wine choice from your selection and it was very good! Will try it again.
Paella was not available although it was one of the items advertise for the buffet. Polenta was too watery. When with the Osso Bucco which it was next to it made a watery gravy soup. Pasta was uneventful to tastebuds.
From the process of securing the reservations to the payment exit all encounters were genuinely courteous and accommodating. I arrived early to announce arrival of the party. I inquired about where were to be seated, and was invited to select a table and location of my choice. Our Server "Rod" was affable and attentive. This was a special occasion and every aspect of expectation was met or exceeded.
