Villa de Flora at Gaylord Palms Resort
Very good buffet style restaurant, quality of food very nice.
Family Birthday dinner
Excellent food and our service was really on the ball and made our dining experience a delight
This restaurant under the atrium at Gaylord Palms Resort is lovely. My husband & I celebrated our anniversary here with their buffet dinner. While the selections are somewhat limited for a buffet, we found the choices well prepared and tasty. There are cheeses, meats, breads, soup, salads, seafood, a made to order pasta station, a carving station with roast beef and pork loin, veggies and a dessert station including ice cream and some pastries. For $37 pp one really can't complain. Alcohol is a bit pricey and soda is $4, but those glasses are refillable. All in all, we paced ourselves and had a very enjoyable evening. And we were surprised with a delicious anniversary plate of chocolate cake and 2 glasses of champagne!
Always a great experience with delicious options! Never disappointed.
Every time we are in Orlando for Sunday, we come here for brunch - it’s fantastic.
VILLA DE FLORA - brilliant - great food, efficient and great staff!
What WAS a massive problem was getting INTO Gaylord Palms Resort. A wonderful facility let down by two disinterested women dealing with parking! No directions to the car park at ALL - so I spent HALF AN HOUR in the heat faced with the Staff/Facilities Car park with Tanker Trucks and massive petrol trucks of equiv blocking the way. Found a space, but it was so small I grazed the hire car. Near to tears I tracked down "humanity" and was told to move car. Revisited original 2 women who vaguely pointed at where to go. Shame this place is let down like this. Restaurant gave me a free cocktail and lunch to make up for it. But who needs that kind of intro to a beautiful hotel? Not me.
Great variety, excellent distinctive flavors, fresh!
Made my big day very special.
Not a great value unless you're a big eater. No menu service, only buffet. Half a bagel with cream cheese and lox, cup of coffee - 38.00.
Not a lot of variety for the price. Service was good.
We had a beautiful brunch. The food and service was excellent. Will definitely be back!
Food was excellent however parking cost was extortionate ..$24 disgusting for two hours.
Let me start off and say!, one star for one reason. The food is 5 star and the service is 5 star. Are waiter is Alex! He is hands down one of the reasons we go. The environment is wonderful! It’s never really crowed!
It’s $37.00 a person. The prime rib, it’s wonderful! Tonight we had the head Cheff or the manager come out with a free drink sampler. They are always doing things to switch it up a little, incentives! We are regulars. But here’s the kicker. $25 to park for a few hours to eat dinner. That’s just a bad flaw! I understand they have to pay for the parking garage, but come on! Really! That’s just stupidity. I’m not a cheap person at all, but come on. When for a few more $ you can go to Texas De Brazil. And get free parking, plus a huge variety!
I really hope they go back to taking care of parking for people that come just to eat!
Food was good but lacked variety for a buffet.
Absolutely wonderful experience. The food was great except we ate too much. The variety of food seemed to be less but it was very good anyway. The ambience was excellent considering it was our 4oth wedding anniversary. My husband and I love this restaurant. I wish we could visit more often but the price is too much for our budget so we take advantage of special occasions.
We have been coming here for five years now, have never had a bad experience. Omlet Station excellent as always. Pancakes, French Toast, waffle station at 9am was literally down to one item in each selection . Omlet chef had to stop and refill other items. However my biggest issue is that parking ticket ( and I paid for 6 people was not validated- when did that change?). Wait staff extremely friendly and constantly checking if we needed anything. We always bring out of town guests for breakfast and “tour” of the grounds. Everyone always impressed. This not validating parking tickets must be changed back to doing so.
I would recommend the Sunday brunch if you happen to be staying at the resort but I wouldn't go out of my way to eat there. The food was good but not spectacular. It's roughly the same as any resort buffet. The price is much to high given the options. However, all food at this resort is ridiculously priced, so it might be a good option if you're really hungry and can eat 2-3 plates of food.
Excellent buffet wide range of choices.
Great experience! This was our second visit and was even better than we remembered!
was a great brunch eggs benedick omelttes shrimp walffels prime rib ym
Beautiful Sunday brunch. Plenty of healthy options and delicious food, great help, and nice space for seating.
Sunday brunch is the BEST! The food is very well presented and tasty, with lots of offerings to ensure even the pickiest eater will be satisfied. The omelet station and the carving station is always my favorite but my husband loves the shrimp and charcuterie station. There is also eggs benedict, a pasta station, lots of salads, along with many other options and a nice dessert display that includes ice cream sundaes. Sitting under the atrium is wonderful since you hear the water falls, see the tropical plants, and enjoy the sunshine all while being in air conditioned comfort! We often go as a couples meal, have enjoyed business meetings there, and love going for family get togethers since the hotel is gorgeous and there is lots of stuff to keep the kids busy while we eat a leisurely brunch. Alligators, turtles, and multiple fish ponds are a nice distraction for multi-generations to enjoy.
The buffet was wonderful! Everything was delicious, but the antipasto bar was my favorite! Loved the eggplant and squash. I would definitely visit again!!!
This is a must experience! The buffet is always fresh and delicious and the resort itself is a great time! Great for groups, great for date night, great to get quality food and deserts!!
Awesome menu for breakfast!
Always delicious. We did wait a bit for a server to get our Fri is, but then Fter that they were attenti e.
It is difficult to review a restaurant that is closed when you arrive. We had confirmed reservations from Open Table less than 24 hours prior to arrival!! The restaurant was also closed on Monday, the day we made reservation. We will not be using Open Table for reservations in the future and will alert friends & family to your disappointing service.
Best brunch in town.
Love villa de flora I just wish it was cheaper or had happy hour
Great selection of foods for everyone. Food was prepared very well and tasted great. Little pricy for kids 12 and under since most children that age don’t eat much. Our 3 grandchildren hit the pasta and salad stations with dessert after and that’s all
If you go take small portions and try a lot of the dishes otherwise you will fill up fast and miss out on all the goodness. Brunch prices too high we can’t eat that much food.
Great food, service is amazing
The buffet set up was good and lots of choices. Overall the food was good, not outstanding. Somewhat pricy at $37.00 + tax and tip. With that, it was still one of the less expensive choices at Gaylord Palms.
Frank has been there long time and he is always consistently Amazing. Staff and Chef was good to address my daughters food allergies
Great food and great service!!! We will be back.
Great food, excellent service and good value for money. We've been going for Sunday brunch every time we're in Florida.
Great service and good buffet. Lots of options for kids and adults. Staff was very attentive. Made accommodations as we were late for our reservation. We will definitely be back!
Buffet was very limited. Thought it was a sit down dinner place until we got there. Found out they changed it to buffet for the evening. Loud open air.
