Cozy restaurant with delicious Italian food. Good service and drink choices. Would recommend.
This is our favorite Italian place in North County, always excellent. No matter how busy they are, the service is very attentive. I have recommended this place to many people and will continue to do so. It's a fairly small place, but mighty in its presence here. Make a reservation if you don't want to wait!
I had a craving for their Calamari Fritti and Carpaccio. I had a nice birthday dinner there. I will be back.
My all time favorite restaurant. The food is phenomenal and the service is great as well. Love the ambience. Wish I would have discovered this place a lot sooner! Highly recommend!!
The only bad experience was that I ordered the Caprese appetizer and it did not come. Once the lunch meals arrived without the app, I noticed the lunch would be filling enough, so I didn't bother the server about it. Food was great!
My first visit and I enjoyed my meal. Tasty and the service was very good.
A nice evening of great Italian dining. Good food and service in a relaxing atmosphere. An impressive wine list with great selections for every taste. The carpaccio appetizers are amazing and they always have some delectable specials.
We love the food! And the best Lemon Drops EVER! The service is also very good!
Big portions. Delicious salads. Chicken piccata was delicious.
One would never guess that such a charming Restaurant would be tucked away in a strip mall that has Taeget, but it is. This is the third time we’ve eaten here and we have loved every meal. The staff are quite attentive. The price is reasonable and the food delicious they definitely recommend it
Everything is great! Also, a real plus is the fact that kitchen to table is so fast the food is hot, not just warm!
Delicious as always with a friendly and knowledgable wait staff.
Love this place! Awesome service and spectacular food!
We always order the artichoke hearts as an appetizer So yummy!
I ordered for the first time the Pappardelle Bolognese! Delicious!
Love the Cosmos too!
The food has been always good but as if it isn't loud enough, they put more tables next to the bar.
To loud for a smaller place. Will not go again unless it is Mon-Thursday.
Always excellent! Great food, great service! Our favorite go to restaurant.
The Italian food and service have always been good. We will eat there again.
I did not think it was as good as the reviews say. The sauce that the salmon came in did not taste good and the vegetables were hard. To each his own!
Food was pricey but good, service was acceptable, atmosphere was like a sports pub. We went for Sunday lunch. Maybe they add tablecloths, flowers, and candles at supper to add atmosphere.
Very busy place. Food was good and it wasn’t so loud that we couldn’t hear our friend. Overall a positive experience
Villa Capri is a chic eatery that could well be found in Italy. The owner, Antonio from Salerno, keeps a sharp eye on all facets of the restaurant. Every plate is of the highest quality and yummy. Nightly specials have never disappointed. We have returned with family and friends time and again.
The food was real Italian food and it was excellent.
Party of two each chose a special of the day. We were quite pleased with our meal.
Its all about the food. Professional staff show shows that management oversight is in place. Your food never sits in the kitchen and is always brought to the table hot. Fresh ingredients and well prepared dishes bring me back.
Love this place! The food came out hot, the pasta always tastes fresh and you just can’t be the friendly/attentive service.
This was our first time to this restaurant. Food was delicious, however, it was a little more expensive than I was anticipating. This is a good place to go on a date but I saw plenty of families their as well. The only small complaint I had was when we were trying to get our check. Our waiter disappeared for a few minutes so we had to ask another waiter to track him down. Fortunately, we weren't in any rush. I would definitely recommend.
Our favorite spot for delicious Italian. Coupons are helpful. Still pricey so good for special occasions. Fantastic service!!!!
The food was fabulous, as always.
The food was delicious, service very prompt and price was extremely reasonable. We will definitely go there again
I found it to be a great place to mingle. The people nect to us were very friendly and we struck up an instant friendship. Definitely noise was part of tye atmosphere. Not for a nice quiet evening. But definitely alot of fun! The food was excellent and so was the service.
Great service and always accomodating. Popular local restaurant with great italian food and a reasonable price. Always specials off the menu and have always had a great meal.
One of our favorite Italian Restaurants! Very good service and Excellent food!
Excellent service, and very accommodating to a large group including kids. Can't wait to go back and try more of the menu, especially the appetizers.
Amazing food and great service, can get pretty crowded around meal times so arriving early is a must if you want a more quiet setting.
If it weren't for our bus boy, this would be a one star review entirely.
When we arrived for our reservation, the host was not at his station. I get it, he was probably on break or something- that happens. But the host station is right near the door. Standing there, it was obvious we were waiting. Numerous employees passed us without even acknowledging us, let alone even just check us in. They just pushed pass us and didnt make any offer to help. We just stood there, awkwardly, by the door while servers pushed their way around us.
After some time, our bus boy spotted us and not only seated us right away, but immediately brought us bread and menus. After another 20 minutes, our server finally acknowledged us, but it was only to inform us that he would be "just a minute" while he seated another table. He not only seated that one table, but he also seated a second table, and then went back and forth to take both of their orders too.
He placed two orders ahead of us, knowing he had another table that was already waiting for 20 minutes...That was bad enough, but it made things worse because when we were waiting by the host station waiting, he was one of the servers that had pushed passed us numerous times at the host station and couldnt even acknowledge us. Even though we were seated first, he still put two other tables ahead of us.
Luckily, our busboy was there to refill our water and bread. The only time we saw our waiter again, once our order was placed, was to give us our bill.
The food was good, but our servers lack of service really distracted us from enjoying it. Beyond that, we had already filled up on bread waiting so long on our server, that we ended up taking most of our meal home. Reheating it at home was okay, but was not nearly as good if we had eaten in fresh at our table.
I'd say the service was terrible, but the busboy doesnt deserve to be grouped in that category because he was very attentive and nice. The rest of the experience was bad.
Great food as always. We enjoyed several appetizers. My husband ordered the lobster ravioli which he enjoyed. We shared the tartuffo for dessert, fantastic! We had one of the smaller tables inside which felt crowded.
The friend I was meeting for lunch was 30 minutes late, and the restaurant was very gracious about seating me with a glass of Prosecco while I waited. When she arrived we shared the caprese salad; unfortunately the tomatoes had been refrigerated and did taste fresh. We each ordered the sea bass picatta and fared much better; it was delicious! The roasted potatoes were also delicious! So overall, I would recommend the restaurant, except for the noise! At one point, we had to stop our conversation because the pounding from the kitchen became so loud. The waitstaff did not appear to be bothered enough by my complaints, although an explanation was provided.
This was our first time at Villa Capri! WE ALL LOVED our experience!!!
Not only will be be coming back, we will be having you cater my Mom's 90th birthday party!!
I am so excited to have found you!
Hugs and ciao!
Antonio, the owner who is from Salerno Italy, is on hand to be sure every detail is perfect. This was my Sixth visit and it never disappoints. Sauces are yummy and portions generous. Tiramisu is amazing.
Great Italian cuisine and great/friendly service! Keep up the good work!
Food and service were excellent. Antipasti for 2 was enough for 4. Lasagna and steak/pasta special were great. Highly recommended.
