Viet Aroma Asian Cuisine is a casual restaurant that specializes in Vietnamese cuisine. The restaurant's interior is spacious, warm and welcoming with plenty of seats for guests. It features simplistic décor elements with plants and statues from Vietnamese culture. Viet Aroma Asian Cuisine also offers take out and delivery services for guests who are too busy to dine in.
Begin the meal with an order of the restaurant's signature crispy spring rolls made with crab meat, pork, carrot, mushroom, rice noodles and onions. One of the most popular dishes at Viet Aroma Asian Cuisine is pho with tofu and vegetables, steak or chicken. Try one of the restaurant's signature dishes, which include sizzling ribs and egg, curry lemongrass delight and roast quails with chili, onion, ginger, butter, honey wine sauce and choice of vermicelli or garlic rice.
Food and service were good. Decor is nothing special. Everyone cleared their plates
Excellent food, service and atmosphere. The staff is very friendly, polite and are great at recommending menu items, including Sake! One of our favorite places.
Viet Aroma is wonderful. The service is excellent. The food is great! For casual relaxed dining, it is terrific. You can't find better service anywhere. Bella knows what our usual wine choices are and makes great menu suggestions.
Love this restaurant! Never lets us down. Perfect for dinner before a show at Jammin Java or anytime. Super nice people.
What a pleasant surprise to find this little gem tucked away in the corner of a strip mall in Vienna. The pho was delicious. We’ll definitely drop by here again.
Really good food, really fast. Authentic pho cooked to your specifications. Allergies? No problem. My server was attentive and thoughtful in her recommendations.
So many choices, but try the spring rolls: jullienned veg rolled in a rice wrapper was light and a great treat for two.
The food and service were top notch! Warm towels delivered to the table to wash my hands? Wow! It's a fairly small place, so it can easily be noisy. We'll be back for the great food and service for sure.
Thanks to Open Table, we found this great new (for us) restaurant! We live in MD and my husband was flying into Dulles Airport. So we decided to eat in VA for a change. Viet Aroma lived up to the reviews on Open Table! We were greeted by a nice woman who knew who we were when we walked in. She asked if we were coming in from the airport. I had put a note on my reservation saying that we may be delayed because of the flight and that we would be there for sure unless we called so could they please hold our reservation. We ended up being early. She had a table reserved for us and we sat down. We started with the Rock n Roll Sampler. Delicious! Everything was fresh and hot. It is served with 3 dipping sauces that let you enhance the taste of each item. But I probably would have been fine if there was no sauce at all! I ordered the Bird Nest Stir Fry over crispy noodles and my husband ordered a Prawn dish. Both we excellent and again, everything seemed very fresh. Mine was mild (you could pick your spice level) and it was just right. I could taste the meat and vegetables and still enjoy the sauce. My husband enjoyed his very much as well. We would definitely eat there again. It is in the same shopping center as Jammin' Java where we have been many times, although never knew about Viet Aroma. The only minus about the place is that it isn't in Maryland!
We truly enjoyed our first visit to the Viet Aroma. Many interesting dishes on the menu. Spring rolls were light and crispy. My tilapia with eggplant in honey garlic sauce was delicious. Will go again.
First visit. Varied menu of Vietnamese dishes. Cold day so we had the PHO. It was outstanding.
The food is always spectacular. This is our favorite place.
This is a great find in Vienna. Viet Aroma offers quality food, great atmosphere and good prices. Would recommend their crispy spring rolls, Drunken Noodles, and Shaky Beef. All excellent dishes.
Stopped in on a cold night with friends and enjoyed everything about this restaurant. Spring Rolls were fantastic! Stuffed with veggies. Drunken Noodles were outstanding.
This was recommended by some friends as it is one of their favorite places to eat. We took a group of 8 and it was great. The service was fantastic and you felt like they wanted you there and appreciated you as a customer. I like spicy but since I wasn't familiar with the restaurant I went conservative. The food was very flavorful, but next time I will be trying something with more bite. Two others in the group ordered spicy dishes and they indicated they were excellent. We will be back.
We wanted to try neighborhood restaurants so went to this one to check it out. Food was good and plenty. We had shaky beef and quail dishes. Presentation of the food was great and food was tasty too. Service was adequate but nothing outstanding. Will return to try other dishes and also noodle soup. I wouldn't necessary go there for special occasion or anything like that but i would definitely return to try other dishes on the menu.
My wife and I discovered Viet Aroma last fall and have been back once and twice more with different friends. The food and service have consistently been very good. Our friends dining with us the last time there are native Vietnamese. They were very happy with their meals. My favorite has been the Red Snapper special. We hope others find Viet Aroma and will enjoy dining there, too.
The food is great, and the service is very good. Our waitress always makes excellent suggestions.
We had a delicious Vietnamese lunch. Flavorful, well-seasoned dishes with the freshest ingredients. We will return. The only negative was they had the heat down prior to opening and it was so cold that we needed to keep our winter jackets on throughout most of meal.
We chose to eat here because it is in the same shopping center as Jammin Java. The menu selection is quite good and the food is interesting and very good. Our waitress was a little pushy about the menu. We just wanted a light dinner and she kept insisting we get the special. We split a lemon grass chicken and an order of summer rolls. It was plenty of food for 2 women and only cost $20.
It's a cute little place, but the music in the background did not match the cuisine. Not sure why they were playing Spanish music. A little authentic music could add to the atmosphere.
I had the spicy noodle soup. Can't remember the name but the broth was perfect. Vegetables Sooo fresh and shrimp delicious. We started with crispy spring rolls. They were not your avg spring rolls. Very crispy costing and not greasy at all. My husband had the rice paper rolls. You make them yourself with choice ingredients. He loved them. We will go bavk again, that's for sure!
Besides the "Aroma" everything tastes good too. We tried several specials of seafood and enjoyed them.
We had comfortable seating for our party of 7. Our server was super attentive and we enjoyed the meal which ended with some nice warm towels to clean our hands. We ordered way too much food because everything looked so good so we brought home the leftovers and were able to enjoy our dinner the next day too.
Consistently outstanding, great food, excellent service, reasonable price
The snapper was great… crispy egg roles average. Go with the recommendation of owner
This was my first time at Viet Aroma. I was immediately put off by the "over zealous" exhibited by the waitress. She couldn't stop pestering me about ordering when I was not ready and was waiting for my friend and told her so. When we were ready to order wine, she brought a bottle of Malbec that was not the vintage indicated on the menu. I pointed it out to her.... I may have been over critical but I felt that she had no respect for personal space as she was getting too close for comfort although I am sure it was out of good intention. She interrupted us non stop with her comments etc..... I appreciate the attention but too much of a good thing can be too much! I did enjoy the food and so did my friend.
Excellent Vietnamese dining, offering a wide variety of dishes and preparations (i.e. not your typical Pho shop). We ordered 4 different styles of main dishes, and each was well presented and tasted great. The service was friendly and attentive. We look forward to visiting again.
This will be your new fav neighborhood haunt for lunch or dinner. Looks like it's a fam run place and they really take care of you.
Husband and I went earlier this week. We were too hungry to be able to decide what to have, so the waiter picked for us, altho he was clearly disappointed that I don't eat beef. We had the soft shell crab special - delicious - and lemongrass and chill chicken clay pot. Super spicy. we loved it, but i'd avoid it if i wasn't a spice fan. we also had summer rolls and dumplings to start, both delicious. Finally, they have a nice, small, well-priced wine list. We can't wait to go back.
Saw the new Viet Aroma restaurant (which replaced a nondescript Asian restaurant) while riding bikes and decided to check it out for dinner. They did a great job refurbishing the old space, which feels pleasant. Ordered our "go-to" items (soup, summer rolls, and shaky beef) to see how they compared to Four Sisters (the gold standard for Vietnamese in DC Metro) am glad to report that Viet Aroma was very good! Pro's are excellent service, nice atmosphere, fresh ingredients, and OpenTable reservations; only real Con was that it's not quite Four Sisters. If you're in Vienna for a show at Jammin Java, Viet Aroma is another excellent choice for a yummy, healthy meal. We will be back.
I've been here a couple of times and the food is always fresh and tasty. The staff is friendly and very helpful. I love the summer rolls, salads and ginger and lemongrass chicken clay pots.
Outstanding Vietnamese & Asian dinner. Wait staff and all employees were friendly and focused on providing an excellent meal
Calamari appetizer was delicious with a smokey flavor. Spring rolls had very fresh ingredients, but not interesting with heavy dipping sauce. All the vegetables are very fresh. Shrimp are well prepared. Service is speedy.
good neighborhood restaurant
good food and good service that we quite enjoyed!
The food was authentic, fresh and well made. Good for a casual meal
We had a lovely Mother's Day dinner at Viet Aroma in Vienna. There is no pretense about this place. It is simply excellent Vietnamese food, in a comfortable atmosphere, served by a very pleasant wait staff. Vegetables are crispy-crunchy fresh. Meats are delectably seasoned. A complimentary flan for dessert was what flan is supposed to taste like -- natural egg and milk flavors -- rather than the oversweetened goo served by so many other places. Service was prompt and customer-focused. Prices are very reasonable considering the high quality of the food. We declared it "a find."
Good Vietnamese food without traveling to Eden center. We enjoyed it a lot.
This Vietnamese food was, by far, the best we have ever had. Unique flavors and delicious combinations, beautifully presented, very fresh vegetables, friendly service. Even the menus were immaculate. This is a find and we will be back for more.
My third time to Viet Aroma and again we had a wonderful experience. We were extremely well taken care of by the staff. They are very thoughtful. Wonderful menu suggestions were offered and each item was delicious and fun to eat. We were surprised with complimentary desserts for the 2 in our party celebrating a birthday. Looking forward to returning soon.
Unique Vietnamese experience rolling your own rice wraps. Short menu, but that's probably why everything was so well done. Nice, but not luxurious ambiance for a small strip-mall storefront.
This was our first time at this restaurant and we have to say that we were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food, the reasonableness of the prices and the attentive service. Definitely a great place to eat in the Vienna / Tysons /McLean area.
