This is one of my favorite restaurants. It has an amazing creative lunch menu and lunch was enjoyed by all three of us.
The food was very good, however the service was lacking. We had a smaller child and were treated as though we did not belong. Obviously, there was no kid menu and were aware of an adult atmosphere. However, the person that greeted us was visibly not pleased and spoke that our child needed to sit at the table as it was not a playground. He was very rude, in my eyes.
The restaurant was empty and we were in no way being intrusive.
Like I said, the food was great and our server was very attentive. He went above and beyond to make sure we felt welcome even with having children with us.
Only recommendation is to lose the front end gentlemen as it set a nasty tone to our dining experience and continued as we used the restroom during our dining. He faked a thanks for coming as we left and we are not even inclined to come back.
We have dined here several times before, and the food is always amazing! Excellent service and very friendly staff.
This special place is one of our favorites for special occasions. We always know we will eat well and be taken care of. Had a great anniversary celebration there this week. Thank you all---
We went for brunch in a group of 6; food was delicious . The owner and waiter were very attentive . Great experience . Will be back again
Consistently excellent food. Good wine list with fair prices.
We've never had a bad meal here. We frequent this establishment somewhat regularly and are always satisfied!
Our waiter, Maurice, was very good. The appetizers were fine. But, we were disappointed in our main courses. The breading on the Weiner Schnitzel was a bit heavy and the meat was dry. The Madeira sauce on our other dishes was pretty much brown gravy, with hints of vinegar. We had invited a discerning friend to dinner because we had previously had an excellent meal - albeit brunch - at this restaurant. We had expected better for the prices. While we were seated at first at a quiet table, which I had requested, in the middle of our meal, a party of 6, including a young child, was seated quite close to us. It was no longer quiet. We did not linger for dessert.
Six girlfriends go together for Sunday brunch. We each ordered our favorite dish from the menu and
half of us had the unlimited bloody mary special for $15. The first drink was the strongest...got a little weaker after that. The food was excellent from the frittatas to the crab cakes! The ambiance is warm and inviting, we had a round table with a lazy susan...great for sharing. Been here many times for lunch and dinner as well...never disappoints!
Great as always. Tunde was an excellent server.
We love this restaurant and come often. The service is sometimes a little slow though. We waited awhile for bread and for the waiter to come back to take our orders. But other than that minor issue we have no complaints. The food is consistently delicious and the wine is great!
The food is good, but the kitchen is very slow. It took close to an hour to get our food. The servers work extremely hard and do their best to keep customers happy. But after many years of going to this establishment, we are going to move on to other places.
The food and service was fantastic and high class.
The food and service are always impeccable. You never feel rushed. Never disappointed here.
Best food ever the Bavarian Snitzel is awesome along with the Somono Salad. Best ever
Great dinner tonight at Vienna Cafe, first time dining here, the food and service were outstanding I was pleasantly surprised to see a variety of vegetarian options on the menu as well. Highly recommended and definitely will be back again.
Had a date night with my husband and wanted to try something different. The restaurant doesn’t look like much from the outside but inside it felt like you were transported to somewhere else. We sat at a window table facing the highway and we didn’t notice the highway or passing traffic not even once it was great. The service was FANTASTIC! Probably some of the best service we’ve had, from the host to our waiter everything was so personable and attentive. They knew exactly when to come and check on us and when to give us space. We had Caesar salads to start which were fine, we had the Wiener schnitzel and potato crusted salmon for main course and they were cooked perfectly, but flavor was lacking a bit. For dessert we had the creme brûlée which was PERFECT I could’ve eaten three more. The wine selection was great as well and affordable.
food was excellent along with great service and we sat on the back patio which was very cozy and romantic...great experience...
Great spot from food and drinks. Larger than the outside appearance. Great martini spot.
Been there before and was better. Fish too well done. They neglected to take the discount coupon on final bill. Very busy, serviceslower than usual. But Martinis were excellent..
Good date night restaurant. Attentive staff. Bit pricey
We have been customers at Vienna Café for several years now. Sometimes a party of two or more all the way up to special occasions of 24 guests. We have never been disappointed with the food or the service. Vienna Café is definitely one of our favorite restaurants.
Top notch always
Everything thing was perfect. I wished I lived in the area.
The two locals we introduced to Vienna were very impressed, and plan for that to replace J. Alexanders as their go-to place for a good meal. We talked for well over an hour enjoying cocktails and bread before we were ready to order, and were impressed that Maurice, our server, had a nearly sixth sense for when we were ready, and for every other detail of our four hour meal. The salmon, steak au poivre, and shrimp, scallops, & andouille with gnocchi were all excellent. The wine list included several excellent pinot noirs at *very* reasonable prices (which boosted my "Value" score to five stars). The chairs were comfortable, as was the ample spacing between tables. Honestly, the only thing that wasn't perfect was having to thread through a shopping center parking lot to find this hidden gem.
This was not my first time, I've been there numerous times and surely recomment.
This is our go-to place for a good meal in a relaxed atmosphere.
Usually not an issue but the service on this visit was way off.
Fantastic in every way!!
As always the food was excellent and as always Wanda was Very friendly taking care of us!!!
Good food and service
Excellent wait staff
They took us to our table on time without a delay
Best Pork Belly in Broward
We went for a family brunch. Sadly, the eggs we all ordered were so greasy that none of us could eat or enjoy the meal. I didn’t expect anything but the server probably should have noticed that none of us ate our food. We had a variety of sandwiches and omelettes. The French toast wass deep fried and also not eaten. However, the coffee was delicious! Cute place.
They brought us the main course meal first, instead bread and butter, or the appetizer we ordered that was never served. Finally we ordered the dessert and coffee but they brought us the coffee right way and dessert 25 min after coffee. Very unpleasant Valentine’s Day dinner for me.
Servers seem a bit overwhelmed and a bar sitting area right next to the doubles tables makes it hard to have a nice dinner with drunk people yelling near you. However, the food was fantastic and the deserts were both creative and expansive. Expect to spend at least $125 closer more than $200 if buying a bottle of wine, but expect great food all the same.
I have been there more times than i can count, but this visit was a disaster. Soup/salads were very good. I ordered the Beef Stroganoff which was very interesting. Made with Sliced Fillet which I ordered medium rare. It came out cooked perfectly and was beautifully plated - but was cold. I sent it back to be corrected. When it came back to me it was hot but no longer medium rare and no longer visibly pleasing. I ate it but was less than thrilled. Food should be delivered hot ---- no ifs and or buts. My wife had the Duck Special. Something in the sauce was distasteful to her and she did not eat it. To their credit, they did offer to make her something else but after seeing what happened with my entree, she declined. Vienna Cafe did not charge me for her meal. This was a "day after" Valentines Day dinner..... and it was a bad experience
The service was a little slow spent almost 2 hours from start to finish. We sat down immediately because we had reservations but just the amount of time the server took between all interactions was a little long for me. I get restless if I spend a long amount of time in one place. Will go back again though!
Jack was our waiter and provided excellent service. My girlfriend and I have dined here before and have always enjoyed our dining experience.
I know the place from the annual New Years Danish lunch. And it is outstanding! This year I went with my wife for Valentines and we had the special Valentines Menu with wine and coffee. We shared the cold seafood platter - really good. After that salad. Then I had Beef Wellington - also good after adding salt. My wife had scallops - also good. Finally we had the dessert platter as part of the menu.
The check ended up at $355 for the two of us including a mandatory 20% tip. Don't get me wrong: The food was good, but for the food and a total of 4 glasses of wine it was simply overpriced.
Still a great place in my view, but I won't come for those specials again.
