Wonderful food and great service
Dinner was fabulous as always. Service was slow to arrive at our table.
Wonderful and pricey
Wonderful anniversary dinner! Exceptional service and delicious food. Lovely evening!!
Attentive service.Everyone was very hospitable. For me, the main dining room is highly preferred . We are not wine snobs and found the Sommelier was not as well. I asked him to review our food selections (which was all over the place) and he came up with a reasonable priced Bordeaux that everyone enjoyed. I don't get to Indy often, but if I do, I look forward to returning to Vida.
absolutely delicious! would recommend it in a heartbeat!
We had a great time and wonderful food. Two of us had the tasting menu and two a la carte. We had plenty of food for the table and enjoyed the ricotta donuts for dessert. If your only option is bar seating, don't be put off. It was very quiet and nice tables and had a chill vibe. I think I'd request this in future. Casey, our server was knowledgeable and fun. Read the menu before you go. The prices are pretty steep and the portions aren't huge but it was a great experience.
Perfection from start to finish! Was a fabulous Mother's day meal! Tim our waiter was outstanding. All four courses were amazing-love!
We had an awesome experience. I think what I love the most is that you do not feel rushed. They want you to take your time and enjoy the whole experience. Our waiter was very attentive and very knowledgeable of the menu and gave great suggestions. It's a great special occasion restaurant.
All four of us were so pleased and very impressed from the minute we walked in the door! Our waiter and all that we encountered were so knowledgeable, hands down the best restaurant in Indy! We will be back!
One of our favorite restaurant experiences to date! The staff was amazing and the food was delicious. Would highly recommend! Will be back on our next visit to Indy!
Great food, service and atmosphere, highly recommended!
Great food. Fun, upscale casual atmosphere. Outstanding service.
This was my pic for my Mother's Day celebration and it did not disappoint. It is pricey but very good for foodies like me and always wanting to explore new things. Great for special occasions. We got the four course meal for $65 each and I loved every bite!! It's lovely inside and they have a comfortable patio to enjoy if you have a waiting time. Get your reservation early as they book up fast. Our waiter was very knowledgeable and explained the menu expertly. It was a memorable gift from my wonderful son and daughter-in-law.
As always, an excellent culinary experience.
Unique offerings that were wonderfully prepared. Modest portions and bit pricier than other downtown restaurants.
The food is AMAZING! I can't think of a better meal - and it's that wonderful every time I go.
Vida wowed everyone at our table. The best dining experiences we had in Indianapolis, and for that matter, any where we have eaten in the US this year.
We had heard so many good things about Vida that we were very eager to give it a try. We stopped by after a play. It did it's part as far as continuing the festive mood created by the earlier entertainment. The atmosphere was interesting, but people were packed in a little too closely; it was not possible to have a conversation that the guests around us couldn't hear if they chose. The food was very creative, but, very expensive. The service was very good. Our wait staff, we were attended by at least three people, were very knowledgeable, pleasant and helpful. We would return for a special occasion if there weren't a hundred other places on our bucket list. Being a regular is not an option due to the cost, but, I'm glad we had the experience.
Expensive but unique. The Foie Gras was the best thing in the menu.
The most amazing meal we’ve had all year! Everything was perfect!
I loved the food and the atmosphere. Very talented chef and educated, attentive servers.
Without doubt, we will be back to Vida. The menu might be 20ish items long, but it absolutely made me battle to make selections since the whole list sounded delicious. Taking advantage of the four-course deal was perfection in terms of pairing and size. Aside from the menu, Vida had a real charm about itself. The staff seemed genuinely happy to help you, and they fit into a nice balance of classy and friendly. Top it off with an interior dining room that is spacious, yet homey. We will be back, Vida.
Not cheap, but everything is first class. Menu has lots of unique stuff.
Sophisticated small plate dining. Loved it.
We have been to Vida several times and thoroughly enjoyed each time until last Saturday. First, the restaurant was cold. So cole that the waiter brought blankets for the three ladies. Unfortunatly, that was the only thing he did well. He was overbearing, condescending and inattentive. He got the order wrong for one guest, took it back but didn't bring the correct one until the rest of us had finished. He was willing to comp that meal but it was too late. He blamed the whole thing on there fireman's convention. He was also very late in bringing wine orders. I'm not saying we won't come back but it won't be right away.
It was my girlfriend's birthday so I wanted to take her somewhere nice. The other tables around us were asked if they celebrating anything special and were given complimentary champagne and other cocktails. My GF received a lemon dessert and in brown, chocolate letters had "happy birthday" at the bottom. That is nice but after spending $200 dollars in one night at your restaurant, I expected more.
Very unique menu! Definitely a "foodie" restaurant
Birthday. The kitchen got a little backed up, but the manager made things right. The ambience and delicious food made up for the lag in service.
definitely worth the price. You are getting Michelin quality food for Indy price! Highly recommended.
I could have made a meal on the foie gras alone. Halibut was very good also.
Food and service were excellent! Chef was right on spot with flavors and cooking time. Vida has the best pastry chef in town!
The 4-course dinner was perfect and a real bargain at $65. The food was perfectly prepared and really, really good. I recommend the chicken, shrimp, and lemon lush. My husband loved the trout and donuts. Everything was delicious.
We love Vida! The food is always exquisite
The food was wonderful. We had the 4 courses for 65 and every dish was superb. The waiter Tim was helpful, knew about the dishes, explained anything we wanted to know. I can't say enough wonderful things about this.
I would go again. The menu changes with the season I can't wait to see what the Chef does next.
Superb experience at Vida! It was not too crowded on a Wednesday night and so we had some quiet conversation. Our server, Alex, was patient, helpful, and attentive. Every dish our table of four shared was fantastic, from appetizers to salads to entrees to desserts. All were thoughtfully prepared and presented. The warm ricotta doughnuts were melt in your mouth delicious!
We loved the fresh herb garden on the wall and the see-through kitchen was spotless.
A standing ovation for Vida!
First time visiting Vida and was excited to give it a try. Was not disappointed! Food was wonderful and the service was great. I was definitely outside of my comfort zone and tried some items that I didn't recognize, and was very glad I had. We did the 4-course meal and each one was beautiful and very tasty. I definitely want to return to try some of the other menu items. Very popular dining spot and while we had early reservations and were practically the only people there when we arrived, it was packed when we left. So take heed - maybe an earlier reservation would get you a table if you want to give it a try.
Simply put, best restaurant in the city. Doesn’t get any better.
We had dinner with another couple last weekend at Vida. Everyone loved their meal, we had beautiful wine and our server was very knowledgeable about the wine and the menu.
