Victory Tavern is a very nice place to have dinner before an event at AAC. Food is good and moderately priced and service is good as well.
Coworker and I were in the area for a conference and their menu caught our eye when looking on OpenTable. Both of us had two different types of burgers and they both were amazing! Large burger that we both could barely finish, however the highlight of meal was the homemade chips with creamy blue cheese on top! Absolutely AMAZING (for lack of better word)! Lots of space, several TV's to watch your favorite sports team, full menu of options and our server was very friendly and helpful in food suggestions.
We were looking for something close to the American Airlines Center and it fit that description, but the food was not great and pricey for what we got. Specifically I ordered my steak salad with a medium rare steak and it came well done. Hard for me to eat. The macaroni and cheese was bland and the kids chicken fingers were tough and rubbery. Service was fine but I would not go back for the food.
We enjoyed the Easter brunch very much...my steak and eggs were delicious...my husband enjoyed the sole...our son liked the salmon...the buffet was varied...bread pudding and lime pie great! Service attentive and pleasant.
Always our first choice when attending events at AAC. Great food, quick service.
It was a special occassions taking place in the area so we decided to have a few drinks and appetizers. It just so happened it was happy hour which helped in reservation choice. But much to our surprise when we got the bill the happy hour prices were not honored. We asked and was told that if an event was taking place next door at American Airlines Center they dont have happy hour. Most concerts and sporting events occur here so why ever advertise happy hour! Disappointed.
just before the Bon Jovi Concert ----- great place ------- food excellent as well as the service -------convenient and just right for an event at AAC
The Staff was over the top! I made a 5 o’clock dinner reservation in between Thursday’s NCAA basketball games. The restaurant was packed and everything worked like clockwork. No issues fantastic service and the food was really good and the beer was even better! Great job!
NCAA playoffs crowded but quick with a reservation
I would definitely recommend that waiters and waitresses inform patrons when they are seated if you are sold out of a menu item. There is nothing more annoying then deciding on a meal to then be told its not available. Aside from this our waitress was great and the dining room was nice. Food wasn't amazing but I would return.
Can't say enough good things about this place. Good food, great service. Fun place to meet up before a Stars game or an event at the American Airlines Center.
Great food, drinks, and service. I’d definitely go back before a Stars or Mavs game.
Good food and quick service before a mavs game. Generous pours
Service a little slow
The food and service were very good. My Dad, Brother and I enjoyed it before the Mavericks game.
Enjoyed a meal and drinks before the stars game. Would go again and recommend.
Great food and drink. Service a bit slow, but it was a hockey night, so very understandable and within reason. A great choice for a good meal before a Stars or Mavericks game.
Very good meal. Great place for pre event dining next to the American Airlines Center
Went there before the Stars-Rangers game. Service was excellent and the food was good.
Spoke to manager who was very customer friendly and told him the next time we went to arena we would be back.
We always go here prior to the Dallas Stars game. Food always good. Mix drinks are more expensive than inside AAC so just watch out there. Beers are priced right. Maria, I think was the name of our waitress. We will always ask for her. Attentive and pleasant. You can see she cares about the customers and her job.
Great food. Crab nachos are wonderful. Waiter was great. A little pricey but overall we love this place.
The steaks were very average and not very tasty. Was very much overpriced for average food.
Convenient dining before a Mavs game. Good service, food, can be a bit noisy
Great service
Food was late arriving and poorly prepared.
Great appetizers- limited wine selections by the glass. My group enjoyed their entrees. Unfortunately I chose Fish n Chips which were not very good - all breading and wet. No flavor - assuming frozen cod. Our server was great about asking us how things were and took care of those things that were not so good. Overall not a bad place. Would go again for the appetizers
Our waiter DAVID was excellent. Good dining experience before a Stars game.
We had a table of eight and realized that the Mavericks game was 30 minutes earlier than we realized. We let our server know about the need to get us served quicker than usual. The service was able to serve cocktails and dinners quickly but not feeling rushed. I was very impressed as the restaurant was slammed by the pre-game rush.
Victory Tavern is one of my favorite restaurants when going to AAC/Mavs games, and this recent experience highlights why.
Great pre-game meal
We went in before a concert at AAC. Restaurant was crowed, but with reservation we got our table immediately. Service was quicker than expected and food was great. We'll definitely be going back next time we're at the AAC.
Appetizer- hummus, was amazing. Would definitely order again.
Caesar salad- Great
Meatloaf- not great at all, not very warm and had the texture of a premade patty
Mashed potatoes- awesome
Coconut cream pie- best ever
Waitress- Lori- she was awesome!!
Stars game
We come here pretty much before any hockey game we attend. Great food and service. Reserve a table as it does get busy before game time.
We went to Victory Tavern before the Mavs / Golden State Game. Restaurant was very accommodating. Our server was awesome. Very accommodating to us. We added up ending 3 additional people to our table and he was very helpful. Great personality. Food was also very good.
We absolutely love the staff at Victory Tavern. It would be nice if ownership would invest in a serious renovation. The menu has not been changed for years. It’s getting very tired & more and more options are becoming available.
Food was not as good as I remembered but the service was really good. Will return for pre Stars game meals.
Dinner prior to a Stars game.
Great food and service. Perfect spot to grab a bite before a game at the AAC.
Perfect before Mavs game They seem to be in tune with rhe need to get out on time. The food was better than most other nearby options. Walk to the American Airlines Center.
Long wait for a sever. The only thing fast was getting the table I reserved thru open table. Everything else was slow. Server, drinks, food.
