Victor's one of the most stylish restaurants in Provincetown and yet it’s so completely relaxed and fun-loving; it boasts a fresh-faced waitstaff, and one might at times think you’re dining in the Hampton's rather than Ptown. The decor is beachy in an urbane way. You have to book a table or else all bets are off. The best reason to love Victor’s is the food served tapas style, all plates are not only meant to be shared they should be. With a great raw bar happy hour that opens in summer at 3PM (oysters, shrimp, clams and crab claws $.99 each) and a very tanned and scrubbed up crowd, one should be an expert cocktailer and conversationalist if hanging at the bar. The wine list is on par with the best of towns lounges. Order tuna Napoleon, chopped salad, or enchiladas, then work your way through fish tacos and skirt steak. Victor himself is always there to make sure you're happy! Here is great food, superb eye-candy wait staff and friendly crowd that projects a country club feel.

Victor's Ratings and Reviews
We went during the off season so this review may be skewed by the fact that the restaurant was not crowded as I imagine it is during the summer. The food is pretty good, not great. Not all that unusual or inventive. The service was rushed even though there were plenty of empty tables. The first two dishes we ordered came out of the kitchen about 3 minutes after we placed the order. We were served so quickly we were startled. So much for "made to order" as indicated by the waiter. I am glad we did not order all of the dishes we wanted at the beginning of the meal which is what the waiter wanted us to do. Dinner would have been over in 30 minutes.
Great place, wish we had found this place sooner as we've been coming to PTown for 30 years and never heard of it. We will be back. One letdown was the calamari, small overcooked pieces. Ross's Grill has much better calamari. The rest of the food was fantastic, I don't know how the calamari found it's way into this great place.
It was hot the restaurant and had been warm and humid all day yet they chose not to use the A/C.
There is no buffer between the station where they unload the dishes and silverware and the dining room and it made an intolerable amount of "kitchen" noise - unacceptable for this type of higher end dining.
Excellent overall. The small plates are a great way to have a nice dinner withoutlocking into one particular option. Tuna tartar, brussell sprouts, the mussels, stuffed mushrooms are all wonderful. Dessert chocolate cake was generous slice, more than enough for 2.
Food was truly wonderful! Specialty cocktails were fun! Will definitely be back! From my seat, I had a beautiful view of the sunset - but tables were really close together which made it hard to get into inside seats without impacting the neighbors. But being so close to the neighboring tables meant that you were almost forced to interact with your neighbors if they were friendly - which was a pleasant experience!
We looked forward to a return visit, as we had enjoyed the food on several trips to cape cod previously. This time, while our food was still good, the ambiance & overall experience was ruined by a waiter repeatedly yelling (loudly) at a busboy, both in the back (directly behind our table), & again in front at the bar. This was not our waiter, but our waiter was present & did nothing to stop this from happening. We brought this to his attention, & our waiter apologized for us hearing/witnessing this situation. But the damage was done. Additionally, our waiter himself became completely inattentive to us (never offered us a second beverage) once a table of 5 young women came in.....he became too busy taking photos for them, etc. and never gave us a second look after that. Very disappointed in our experience.
We tried four times to get a reservation and it is clear, now, to understand why it was always booked. Everything about Victor's is first rate. The service was exceptional and our server had great recommendations. The mussel appetizer was the best I've had. They were large and the sauce was a beautiful mixture of sweet and a little tangy. The lobster scampi was delicious and bountiful. We will definitely go back.
Victor's remains a popular favorite. The food is consistently delicious, the drinks terrific and the staff couldn't be nicer or more professional. Christian is a great maitre d' on top of that and always has a smile to greet you upon arrival...even on a rainy night! Always a pleasure to return.
Victor's is always our first choice when we are in Provincetown. We have become "regulars", I think, and always look forward to our next visit. It's always nice to visit a place where "everyone knows your name" - well, at least Christian and Andrew know us - that's all that matters! The menu is very creative and pleasing to all tastes. There are so many "sharing plates" that is is still difficult to decide what to order. You will not be disappointed! We never are!
