The cuisine at Victor’s includes the most delicious, authentic dishes combined with the restaurant’s exclusive creations that represent the evolution of Cuban cuisine. Signature dishes include Victor’s famous black bean soup, shredded beef (“Ropa Vieja”), and roast suckling pig (“Lechon”).
The restaurant itself is divided into three spacious dining rooms, accented with warm lighting, colorful Cuban art, tropical ceiling fans, and lofty sky-lit ceilings. Its Cuba Lounge is intimate and warm, featuring a tapas menu and a variety of Cuban cocktails such as Mojitos and Sangria.
Meeting up with dear friends at our favorite restaurant in NYC!
Felipe was very attentive waiter. Food was delicious. Every time I’m in NY I must visit Victor’s!
A madhouse of non-service. Cuban food very average. Portions TINY for the price. Getting a drink nearly impossible. Never again.
The food and wait staff service was excellent. Unfortunately our dessert was vey delayed from the kitchen . After 20 minutes we had to leave and requested that it be wrapped to go instead of serving it to us.
We loved it. The food, service and decor were all great. This is not the first time I’ve been here and it didn’t let us down.
We love coming here but usually do so at lunch. We found dinner very noisy. It was mostly due to the people sitting next to us that were just very very loud. Also on the evening menu a few items took 45 minutes to prepare and this was just too long for us. Needless to say, with enjoyed it still and will be back again
Always a delicious and reliable choice in the area
The menu has changed a lot and is not as good as before.
Best Cuban sandwich in NYC! The cold seafood cocktail appetizer was fresh and flavorful. We enjoy eating here when in the city.
Food is good. I like the ambiance. I will definitely go back.
We really enjoyed the food and atmosphere! This was our second time.
Pricey but worth the price. Everything I had was delicious!!
Excellent dinner. Fun and enjoyable before our show!
One of my favorite restaurants in the city! I've been going for years.
Been there many times. Always enjoyable. Ordered seafood paella for the first time.NOT GOOD. JUST WET RICE w NO FLAVOR and Seafood. Not a paella at all- Very Disappointing.
Great experience, food, and service!
Everything was perfect! I took some colleagues from work and they loved it. The service and food was all amazing.
I celebrate my birthday here every year. Great fun.
The location, ambiance, & staff were perfect. The menu is a bit limited, however our selections were excellent.
One of my favorite NYC restaurants. Really lovely.
Great food small portions. Service over the top.
Have dined at Victor's many times and have generally always enjoyed it. This particular night there was an extremely loud and annoying group sitting near us that ruined the entire evening. Wouldn't normally blame the establishment however when we said something to the manager right at the beginning he wouldn't speak to the rude group. Instead he looked at me and said" peace and love" The night got worse and worse and at least four or five other patron tables were visibly upset. As we were leaving I confronted the manager again and told him he sacrificed at least 5 tables for his lack of customer service knowledge and I doubted any of us will ever go back there again. Even with that he didn't have the common sense and decency to say anything. Adios Victor's.
fab as always-totally love the restaurant and go when ever we go to a show! The best sangria!!
Went before a show on a recommendation. While it is nostalgic, it is good not great. Our portions were on the small side. The service was good, borderline snobby.
There are definitely better Cuban restaurants in NYC for the same price or less
The experience was awesome. We were placed in the room we requested. They had live music and the atmosphere was bright and happy. Service was amazing and food was delicious . A nice escape from the nyc winter weather !
Love the food at Victor’s Cafe. Drinks are exceptional!!!
Overall we loved Victors. The food was good but the only thing was we felt very rushed. The waiter kept coming over and wanted our order quickly.
would def go back! have a great time! it was a fun night!
Great meal as usual, went out with friends and a business acquaintance and all were impressed. Music was a little loud so try to sit away from the front door for more convo as well as warmth since it’s so cold. Will be back again next time in New York
Great place to eat before a show. Food was amazing.
Great meal as always. Can’t beat the sangria- worth the trip for that alone!
As usual a wonderful experience all around
Was looking for a restaurant close to the theater that had the Cher show in NYC. This came up and sounded good. Oh my goodness are we ever so glad we looked and chose this place. The food was authentic Cuban cuisine and so so delicious! The service was impeccable all the way around what a fun, fantastic evening. When back in New York we will definitely make a reservation here again!!
This was my second trip to Victor's Cafe. We started with the seafood cocktail which was delicious. The picture of sangria just tasted like fruit juice with no alcohol. I ordered the paella and though the rice needed more saffron the flavor from the fish made the dish enjoyable. Overall it was a pleasant experience.
The food was Excellent
Great place for a delightful and delicious pre or post theatre dinner.
The food was absolutely delicious and the service was perfect!
We have always found the food to be consistently good. Service is outstanding and friendly. Today we attended pretheater and it was packed and very very noisy. There was live music without amplification and they literally could not be heard. Looked like pantomime!
My Wife and I were recently in NYC on vacation and a big part of our trip was seeking out and dining at the “hotspots” in town. This was our first time to Victor’s (on a recommendation from my Cousin’s Husband, who happens to be Cuban himself) and we both agree that this was the best meal of our trip! The Ropa was amazing as was the Churrasco Steak w/ Chimichurri.
The service was also second to none, from the Coat Check Attendant to the Waiter staff. This was definitely be a “go-to” spot for us next time we make it out to Manhattan.
