We were looking for a gem of an option in the theater district AKA Times Square as friends were visiting and starting close by. Victor's Cafe seemed to fit the criteria versus one of the chains. A lovely option with a diverse menu, good selection of cocktails/wine and ambiance/decor. While there are many "Cuban" options in NYC few have the option of sit-down in a more upscale setting. A nice option to consider

With so many places to eat when you visit Broadway… this is a great option. Unusual fare, excellent service, lovely interior, 8 minute walk to the center of the theater district.

I can’t believe I’m a New Yorker who frequently dines out and I’ve never heard of Victor’s Cafe! What a lovely pre theater dinner! Beautiful ambience and lovely service. Food was delicious, especially the salmon ceviche!

Armando is a gem! Will definitely come back next time we’re in NYC, and would recommend to anyone attending a Broadway show or staying in the area.

Great service, ambience…but food maybe fair. Ordered arroz con pollo…flavor good but very mushy. Couldn’t eat all.

I have been to Victor’s many times and have brought various friends here. The food is always very good as is the service. My partner who had never been there really enjoyed the restaurant. We shared a lovely watercress and avacado salad (refreshing), a Cubano (authenticate/very nicely done) and a delicious roast pig with yucca mash and rice with black beans! We had margaritas which were excellent. We were not going to the theater so we had a very relaxed meal. Our waiter was very friendly and took good care of us!
