We're a tiny restaurant with only 10 tables inside and 10 more tables on our tropical summer patio. Enjoy our Wines, Beers, Tropical Mimosas and Champagne Mojitos!
Also popular for our unique breakfast menu, served every day! No reservations for breakfast or lunch, just come on in...

With friends
As always the food and staff were fantastic. One of my favorite restaurants!
We have been to Victor’s many times and the food has been great! The ceviche is a wonderful starter along with the meatballs. We haven’t tried everything yet, but the paella, Ropa Vieja, and Cuban sandwich are our favorites so far. The staff are very friendly and are great at suggesting items. Very good food and a fun place.
Such a fun and unique place to share!! Highly recommend!
Delicious Cuban food served piping hot.
Authentic atmosphere, vibe. Not to be missed!
I have been reading about this restaurant for 15 years; why did't I eat there sooner? Who makes a stewed chicken dish where the chicken is still tender and not all stringy? Victor's. And those sweet plantains on the side - it was like Cuban thanksgiving. All I can think of is 15 wasted years without eating this.
Very accommodating and friendly! Food was fantastic, as always.
First time at Victors. Food was really good. Cubano was fantastic! Homemade chips a must!
Cool ambiance, felt like little Havana. Will go back.
Awesome place great food good customer service
The pulled pork was phenomenal. I would give 5 stars for that alone. The black beans and rice that came with my pulled port was ok, a bit bland, not great. The rest of the food ranged from very good to just ok. The sampler of Tostones Rellenos was meh. Not much flavor, not hot, a little soggy (we tried one of each flavor). Galetas Con Salsas de La Case (chips & dips) was excellent. The black bean salsa, chimichurri sauce, and pineapple mango salsa were all delicious. The fricassee de pollo was very good as was the plantain.
I'll say it again - the pulled pork (Lechon Asado) was amazing. Their malbec was good too.
Our waitress was friendly and knew the menu, service was a bit slow. We weren't in a hurry so not a big deal. Once we ordered to food was out immediately. We had to seek out the waitress on a couple of occasions (more wine) and to order an appetizer while we waited for friends.
Excellent service and server was extremely helpful in explaining the dishes. Everything was amazing. This will definitely be added our rotation.
Love love love Victors! No one makes a Cubano sandwich like they do. Delicious!
Great food, friendly service, nice little patio. The interior is fun too but we decided to take advantage of the beautiful weather.
This is a fun cafe with great food, we will be back
Love the décor and atmosphere! We all signed our names on the wall. Food was good especially the coconut shrimp and crab cakes.
Outstanding in every way
Food and service were good as always. Only complaint is that it's a noisy place. Hard to hold a conversation.
As always, Victors was delicious. Outdoor patio was beautiful, food was absolutely fantastic, great service.
Great patio, well-priced, delicious Cuban cuisine and a friendly staff. A fun place to relax and enjoy dinner.
Very pleasant dining experience on a summer evening and first time eating on the patio. We have been to this restaurant several times and it was fun to introduce friends to their great food. We shared appetizers and chose dinner items that are their specialties. Server was helpful and friendly.
I took my boyfriend here as a birthday surprise. He has 2 favorite restaurants in the Minneapolis area, and this is one! He loves the flavors, variety, atmosphere, nostalgia (he traveled through Latin America for a few years), and I am right there with him. We have been there a few times, and will continue to visit into the future. Only thing I do not like is the lack of parking, but it is easy to drive down the road and walk. It is in a normal neighborhood, and the walk is easy.
Keep up the good work! Our server was awesome, the food was amazing, and the hostess was great getting my boyfriend his birthday treat. Thank you everyone!
Wonderful Cuban food in a cheeky setting with a very relaxed patio. Can’t go wrong with Victor’s!
The food is outstanding as is the vibe. The only reason I don’t give it 5 stars was because we were literally rush out the door. We had a 8:30 pm reservation for a party of 4. We ordered 2 bottles of wine and 3 apps, then our dinner. Apparently they closed at 9pm. We were asked at 9:40 to give up our plates for the dishwasher. Then a minute later asked to leave. Maybe they shouldn’t offer a 8:30 pm reservation??
Amazing as always, consistent great food and servoce
Highly recommend! The food is a little pricey but very unique. Because it’s so small you need a reservation to be sure of getting a table. Also the sound seems to carry so noise from neighboring tables can be loud. All in all a great experience. I have been here three or four times. Would love to go for breakfast sometime so I can have a Cuban coffee!
The atmosphere of Victors is so friendly and bright and the food is delicious and so fresh.
LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS PLACE! A must for anyone who lives in the twin cities, or is visiting!
Awesome food, great atmosphere. Excellent service throughout our dinner including an easy split or the bill at the end of the night!
Cute atmosphere, the best Cuban I've ever had! Definitely will be going back.
Victor’s is worth it for the environment alone. It’s a really cool vibe. The Cuban food is great, too! The Picadillo is amazing! Cozy little date night joint with a really cool atmosphere!
Food was a bit disappointing. I had salad with shrimp. Shrimp were good but the salad was blah. My friends were equally unimpressed with their meal.
A visit to Victor’s is always a fun treat! The waitstaff is fun, friendly, and knowledgeable. If you can’t decide what you want, their recommendations are always spot on! The food is great, every time, brunch lunch or dinner. Just go already!
Better beans and rice and a Cubana sandwich on the street in Mexico for 1/6th the price. Nothing special about the salsa, fruit nor the albondigas. Next time I should just cook at home.
A good place if you have never traveled away from south minneapolis. Seek out a native from latin america and try some real food. This place was all name and nothing else.
Excellent meal, fast service, reasonable prices. We had a thoroughly great meal!
Very cool decor. Very cool hide away
We've been to Victor's several times. Usually, it's been worth the effort but this time wasn't as good as in the past. The ropa vieja was tough. The picadillo didn't have any kick and was more like eating goulash. The pina colada cake was underdone. Not our best experience the but I'm chalking it up to them having an off night. We'll still go back and try again though.
We always have fun at Victor's - good food in a fun, funky place. I choose to dine at Victor's for my birthday and wish I had picked a more upscale place. I had my heart set on a "Mojito" and they were out of the ingredients. The food was a bit rushed. They advertise a birthday dessert but I was not given one. I still highly recommend Victor's but if you want to be sure it is special - choose somewhere else. This is a "go with the flow" type of place.
A wonderful Saturday night on the patio! Terrific food and service as always!
We really appreciate the help reserving a spot on the patio where it wasn't overly sunny. On a hot day, it was perfect! We loved being able to enjoy the outdoor space. Great food and service.
Victor's 1959 never disappoints. The great tasting and portions of the Cuban food, coupled with the unique atmosphere, almost makes it seem as you could be in a coastal restaurant in Cuba. This is a pleasant break from other popular restaurants. My husband and I can't stray away from the Cuban sandwich as much as we try. So, we end up ordering additional entrees to bring home so we can try other things on their menu.
