Food overall was WAY over salted. Fish and chips were salted to the point of being inedible.
Food was awesome, liked the timing off apps and entree. Seating was tighter than I like. Overall great experience. Brussels Sprouts incredible!! Will go back soon
We were seated immediately and our server attended us right away. She was expedient with taking and delivering orders and checked in on us with just the right frequency. We all ordered the angus burgers and they came out just as we ordered (perfect temp). They were so tasty! We will be back!
The food was just ok (wagyu burger was dull and daughter’s pasta tasted stale, but son’s shrimp carbonara was good), in spite of hearing great things from other people. The beer I had (chocolate stout) was meh. Our server was good and attentive. It was busy on Friday evening, as expected. We may or may not go again...
Quick New Year business lunch - as always, excellent. Professional service, knowledgeable server, efficient kitchen, and terrific food.
Service was prompt and polite, drinks well done. Would like the menu to offer more healthy options. Almost everything on the menu was fried. Also would like to see more fish options other than shell fish since I am allergic to shellfish.
Outstanding service on New Year's eve notwithstanding a full restaurant with several large tables. High marks for the shrimp and steak special.
Victoria’s has an interesting and varied menu. I’m always happy with their food and service. We went to eat on NewYear’s Eve and the specials were great. The service was great. It’s not cheap; but you get a tasty meal.
New Year’s Eve dinner was fantastic. Took a while for the food but it was delicious. The decor was very festive.
Met friends for a late lunch/early dinner on New Years Eve. Service was very slow and the food was just so-so. This was once my favorite "special place" because I loved the food and the atmosphere. I had a similar experience during my previous visit, so I will be looking for a new special place.
Food was terrific and service was fantastic! Very pleasant and attentive. Very much enjoyed my dining experience!
Victoria used to be one of my go to favorites...but my last few visits have been disappointing. Cold food, warm beer. Slow service. Step the game back up!
Excellent food and service. Horrible ambience lol. Upon arrival we (4 young adults and me), were walked passed numerous empty tables in the HUGE inside eating area, but placed at the very back small table in the outside terrace, (which was OK), BUT literally 24 inches from my son's back was a massive LOUD heater that blew so hard it blew his jacket up and the napkins off, and he asap said he wanted to move, and also he said "why did WE get placed here?" lol..my daughter a former server at The Hamilton, told us it was random, please don't make conclusions...tolerate...ugh...lol.. I switched places with him and endured a hurricane force hot (likely filled with dust and tiny debri) all night long...it blew all over my food, blew my hair up in a mess, even if I put my coat over my back..yuck..it was so loud (about every 15 minutes to keep the terrace warm) that we all had to stop talking for several minutes every time it happened..BTW..this was my 2nd time here, last year I was with my lady tennis friends at holiday dinner and believe it or not??? we had the SAME outside terrace table in the very back, but we didn't have the massive hot obnoxious blower on our food...I assure you my friends would have demanded another spot..lol..I still tipped the friendly excellent server $50 for a $200 meal..since it wasn't her fault..it was xmas, despite being miserable for me! lol
Great food and recommendations from our server who was doubling as a fireplace for our Christmas Eve dinner.
Love this place, food is always good and the beer selection is great. Table started with duck fat fries, then I had one of the best burgers I've had in a while. Server was very personable. Looking forward to our next visit.
Victorias it’s always a win. Amazing food, impeccable service and great selection of beers!
Our food and beverages were amazing! The front of house and our waiter, not so much....we had a reservation for three people at 8pm. When we arrived, tables were emptying out all over the restaurant. As a former hostess and server, I understand the dinner rush, especially during holiday season. However, we got there early and had to wait almost 20 minutes for a table. We watched table after table leave, get bussed, and then set. After inquiring why it was taking so long, the young lady at the front snipped that it will just be a few more minutes. This happened three times before we were finally sat.
After finally being seated, we got to wait on our waiter for another 10-15 minutes. We are now at almost 8:45 with no drinks, food, or even water. When our waiter finally does arrive, we are all clearly ready to order. Upon asking if we could get a seasonal cocktail warm rather than cold (my S.O. Is recovering from strep), he said “maybe, depends on if the bartender is too busy or not”. Please note that the restaurant had maybe ten tables (mostly couples) and half the bar is full. And yet our server made it quite the big deal to microwave a cocktail...
We finally get apps and drinks which were amazing. I highly recommend the braised short rib. It was incredible and not too salty as it can be. The spiced cider sounded amazing as is and then heated up -whoa! It’s like the holidays in a cup! But, once again, we are left waiting to order another round of beverages and water refills because we cannot tear our waiter away from the conversations he is having with EVERY table around us. These weren’t short convos - he’s lingering while tables try to eat and we are trying to catch his eye which either he is incredibly unobservant or, he was ignoring us. We waited a full 23 minutes between rounds of drinks. After asking for the third time if we could get them, he said he had placed them but he had been so busy chatting - he never went to get them. Out of space but man. Fix it!
Would like to see more healthy, low fat options but food was good and service was fast and polite.
Prices also seemed a little steep for pub like atmosphere.
Coworker had lost job and we were taking him out for a final lunch. Our server found out and gave him a gift card to use at a future visit which was very nice.
Delicious food, great service. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!
The food here is great. We are really big fans of the Brussels sprouts
We were very talkative as we sat there. It wasn’t crowded but our waitress was INCREDIBLY patient with us. Appreciated in the utmost on top of great food.
Great service and food. Staff was really friendly and knowledgeable about their menu.
Never disappointed. Quality is consistent. Great menu. Specialty drinks are always interesting and great as well.
Hair in food, food was replaced but not handled well.
We love Victoria’s Gastro Pub. The only thing we really have to complain about is the fact that the restaurant is fairly empty ( because we are eating early) and they insist on seating us right next to a full table. When asked to move tables because we didn’t want to sit right next to people ( the tables are close) the hostess gave us attitude. Thank goodness our waitress was awesome and the food is always on point!
Thanksgiving special menu was very good. Service was great, as always.
Skip the Thanksgiving meal here. Dry bland Turkey and sides that were straight out if a box. We expected more from a place we have enjoyed in the past. Our waitress was excellent at suggesting beers. That was the only positive.
The foo was rather mediocre, the turkey was bland, dry, unseasoned. The rest was just ok. It was not great food.
The service was great!
Everything about this restaurant is first rate. From the greeting of the hostess to the server to the food, the ambiance, just everything. I will definitely be back again and again.
Expensive. Cost 100 without liquor. Better places elsewhere.
Perfect care-free Thanksgiving. The food was excellent. The place was steadily busy but not crowded or loud.
Nice atmosphere, beautiful bar - the appetizers and desserts on the Thanksgiving special menu were top notch while the entrée were OK. Overall, we enjoyed the experience.
Perfect setting for a family get-to-gether. Amazing food and drinks at a reasonable price.
We’ve literally gone to the place since it opened. Food quality has dropped off, as have service standards (servers are good people, standards are no longer as high as they used to be).
Thanksgiving was $35 for two courses. The Brussels sprouts were excellent: the highlight of the meal.
The ham was... odd. The white meat turkey was dry; the dark meat was full of cartilage. The mashed potatoes were just there, as was the stuffing.
The collard greens were good.
So here’s the point: acceptable to good meal. Pleasant if not completely on point service.
For the price and expectations, not ok. We don’t currently see the need to go back.
Thanksgiving-very good!
Victoria's is a usually go to place but it was a pleasant surprise for Thanksgiving. They had traditional options and also their classic menu items. It was a hit with everyone.
Limited brunch options, but the food was excellent! Will be returning.
Good food and good atmosphere! Would recommend the paprika fries!
As usual the Poutine was fantastic. We enjoyed a couple of specialty drinks that were GREAT!!!
