Our waiter, Alex was knowledgeable about the menu and friendly. His recommendations were spot on. The only drawback was noise level which in this case was not a problem. But if you are expecting a quiet place for conversation, you might be disappointed.
Delicious options, relaxed atmosphere and cheerful staff.
Food was awesome!!! Definitely get the sunchokes. Onion appetizer a hit. Cacio e pepe delicious
Hillary is the best. As always, great food and a lovely night out with friends.❤️❤️❤️
Great food and great service!
Flavorful foods and a lively atmosphere on a quiet street in the village!
Excellent! I think one of the best brunches in nyc right now!
Had a very nice dinner here. Nice drinks, a nice pizza and cacio e pepe to share. Both were just fine. Is on the loud side. Also menu a bit small. But surely we will go back.
Great food, lively spot, talented chef, dedicated staff
New pastas are f-ing great. Or new in that I hadn’t tried them before. Mafalde & the one with chicken liver!
Excellent food and service. We go here all the time. They have their own sparkling water on tap (free of charge) that is great too!
One of our favorite spots. We had a fantastic evening! We had family in from out of town and the staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. The food was absolutely fantastic, especially the fried sweet onions. We will definitely be back!
Service was outstanding! Food was very good. Would go back.
Brought 6 friends here for a casual brunch. Everything from the decor to the food to the service was great. Seems to be a solid place to have larger parties, also saw a couple of babies. Portions were sizable, which is rare in NY. Clean design and wonderful daylight.
Great food excellent service!
Menu was great. Cozy spot. Was there early and it was quiet. By the time we were finished the place was packed. Wide variety of age ranges
Tables were pretty crowded, our table of 4 was basically sitting on top of another table. Other than that, the food drinks and service were great!
When you dine out often it is easy to recognize a restaurant that is going out of its way to please their customers.
Sooo noisy
I requested a booth when I booked the restaurant but they didn’t fulfill the request. Also, the salad was massively overdressed with sauce.
Love the atmosphere and the food was really good! Def on the brunch list when I'm in the NoHo area.
Disappointed in the table we received after we waited so long at the bar for our table.
Service was very slow and server not well informed about the menu - menu entree descriptions were not clear to the true flavor of the dishes so server assistance was required and she did not know the dishes.
My third time there and I will return. My new go-to spot in the nabe. My friznds love it too!
This was our second time at Vic's; we used to go to the prior restaurant, Five Points, as well. Although they changed the decor a bit, it is still warm and lovely with an open kitchen at the far end, a nice bar area and seating in booths and at tables in the middle. It is noisy when full, which is most of the time, and tends to draw a young crowd. But even us oldsters found the food and service excellent. They handle special requests really well and were incredibly generous with extra cheese on a salad (and also remembered to leave out the nuts I'm allergic to). Big points for these small things most places forget. Their bread is great and they have a small but interesting wine list with the ability to get a two-glass portion, as well as a glass or bottle. . I had the artic char and my husband the scallops and we both loved our dishes. All in all, a great choice, as long as you don't mind noise (go earlier if you do; it's a lot quieter).
The food here is amazing , but really the noise level is deafening, they have to invest in some sound attenuating designs....
The pizza and pastas are great, but do not miss the crispy sweet onion - it’s outstanding - as is the service.
Super nice staff, good bloody Mary's and exceptionally fresh food. Was good as Five Points, even better now!
Food was absolutely amazing! Can't wait to go back. The pizza and pasta were both phenomenal.
Vic’s is the best. Everything is delicious. Good music too!
Vic’s is a favorite for pre-Public Theater dining. It’s delicious, prices are reasonable and the service is great! It’s a neighborhood gem and they’re consistently friendly and accommodating.
Got there with great expectations and left disappointed by the food. When you need to put salt and spicy oil on your pizza because it’s lacking flavor, it’s not a good thing. Ordered several appetizers to shares and those were fine, but nothing memory worthy. The bombolini sounded amazing, but again were flat in taste. The chocolate at the bottom of the plate made them a bit better, but that wasn’t even that good.
What was unpleasant and disturbing was that the patrons at the table next to ours had a 50 lb dog with them, sitting on the banquette. Isn’t that a health code violation?
Farewell dinner
The food is unbelievably delicious. Been to Vic’s over 5 times and have tried nearly the entire menu, all of which is great.
The service is also top notch.
Good food but the rhythm of the night was very off. From past experience, this place is just fine except when they are busy. Try to go early to get in and out.
With a reservation, we were sat 40 minutes late and it was a long time to get a glass of wine, apps and entrees. We arrived at 8:15 and left at 11:00 (which was not our intention). They did give us a complimentary order of garlic bread and another snack between the apps and entrees since it was taking such a long time.
We enjoyed ourselves for the most part but someone should have offered us a round of drinks to truly acknowledge the evening (instead of ignoring the facts).
Excellent service. Food was a hit!
Loved this place and now dreaming about the food - pork ragu (not the correct name) and onions on the appetisers were amazing. Plus the loos are fabulously stylish too.
Another very good meal at Vic's. Ordered the garlic bread, roasted sunchokes, crispy sweet onions, burrata pizza, and cacio e pepe. Everything was tasty, but the cacio e pepe was the standout dish.
The food was amazing. Loved every single thing that we had - which was pretty much everything. Wish I remembered our servers name. He was outstanding!!
Food was all overly spicy, in an unpleasant way. Sat 15 mins after our reservation. Friendly and attentive waitress.
