In October 2014, partners Victoria Freeman, Marc Meyer and Chris Paraskevaides (Cookshop, Hundred Acres) introduce diners to Vic's on Great Jones Street in NoHo. Vic's resides in the re-imagined former space of Five Points, the restaurant that Freeman, Meyer and Paraskevaides opened together in 1999. After 15 years, the restaurateurs decided to renovate the space and the result--Vic's--is an entirely new establishment. Chef Hillary Sterling (A Voce, Lupa) presides over Vic's locally sourced Italian dishes, including house made pastas and pizzas (made with New York State flour) and market-driven plates of antipasti and entrées. Vic's is open 7-days a week.

Vic's Ratings and Reviews
I could go on and on. The food is simply delicious! It would be criminal to dine here and not try the Crispy Sweet Onions. The farinata is a cheesy dream. The borsa, oh the lovely borsa!
Honey semifreddo, I worship thee. (That dessert was snarfed by our group.)
We sat in the back where it is a little quieter and got to watch chef Hillary Sterling work the pass-through.
Noteworthy as well are the friendly and skilled bartenders. Craft cocktails, yes!
We really enjoyed Sunday brunch at Vic's. The food was delicious (don't miss the Calabrian Chile Chicken or the Ricotta Pancakes!), the service was friendly and prompt, and as an added bonus they were very accommodating and kind to our child! We'll definitely be back in the near future.
We went to Vic's for our longtime friend's 38th wedding anniversary. Vi's is our "go to" place for special occasions and we had an amazing evening. The seasonal menu was perfect for the exceptionally cold evening. We started with Hillary's Crispy Sweet Onions. Our guests asked our server on what the ingredients are for the dish. So simple and so wonderful. I had a half portion of the Tonnarelli and it was just the right amount and really delicious.
The service was fantastic. We tried some new wine and shared some amazing desserts. Vic's is always great.
We had a 9:15 pm dinner reservation. The place was so packed they didn’t seat us until 10pm. They should not overbook , it was really excessively long considering we had a reservation. The manager was very apologic and gave us free glasses on wine. But I would hesitate to go there again.
Vic's is a treasure! It is one of my favorite restaurants in the city - the food is delicious (pro tip: don't sleep on the garlic bread or vegetables as they are always amazing), the ambience is great (mood lighting, fun but not too loud music), the service is always gracious and timely, you can get a reservation at a normal time a few days before or even day of and they seat you before your whole party is there! A dream come true for any New Yorker!
Chef Hillary Sterling does her magic at this lovely, lively and welcoming restaurant. Her creative Italian cuisine is not only beautiful to look at, but really delicious. I recommend that you share multiple items so you can taste all of her great creations. Start with the market section, Mercato, and some Antipasti. Then move to the pasta's (her specialty and all amazing), then move to the mains...don't miss the roasted chicken with charred broccoli, baby onions, fingerling potatoes, chilies, and basil (YUM!). This has become one of my and my husbands favorite restaurants and we frequent it as often as we can! You won't be disappointed.
Vic's was surprisingly impressive in its experience. I was expecting a good Italian meal one would expect in NYC but Vic's exceeded expectations on all accounts. Drinks were on point. The food was delicious. And the service was impeccable. I rarely ever even think about going back to a restaurant because I generally prefer a new adventure, however, I will definitely return to Vic's in the near future. Highly recommended
Great food , rustic Italian is what I would categorize it as . You can tell from the food that the chef is a pro mixing great flavors and textures - but you can taste the dedication to each dish. Service is great.
Delicious , fun and reasonable for Manhattan.
We arrived at Vic's early and we were seated by the kitchen!
This experience was magical in every way...the Chef was giving the kitchen just the right
Amount of attention and the food coming out of the kitchen was sublime!
The three of us reluctantly left after an amazing dinner!
Wonderful meal from the Fairy Tale Eggplant - a flavor smorgasbord to the expertly prepared roast chicken. Throw in excellent cocktails, perfect service and a chef that combines fresh ingredients with interesting preparations, think gastric reductions. Overall a can't miss dining experience.
