If there are any two young people who have had the experience it takes to open their own restaurant, these two are it - - and their coming together reads like a story. Franco Lazzari and Stefano Terzi originally met each in the early 90’s while working in New York. At ViceVersa, Franco and Stefano, unveiled their vision for a contemporary Italian restaurant, combining the traditions of their own cultural background with the youth and energy of their years, and the sophistication and experience of their time in major New York City restaurants.

Vice Versa is the perfect place for pre-theater dining or really any time. The food is superb, the staff is cordial and attentive without hovering. The setting is lovely, especially the back garden. It is sort of an oasis in crowded midtown. It is always my first choice but not always easy to get a reservation, esp on weekend evenings. It is pricey, but no more so than other places in the area.

Vice Versa is one of most favorite restaurants. No matter the reason for dining (special occasion, date, friends gathering), I always feel welcome, the service amazing and the food incredible. Believe me, you will not be disappointed!

Over priced expensive food, which was cooked to a very poor standard I could have cooked better myself. If you have money to through away then this maybe the place for you. If your looking for a good pizza, forget it.

This was one of the best meals we have ever had in restaurant dinning!. All choices were terrific. We sat at the bar to take advantage of their Happy Hour, but they let us take the drinks to a regular table for the rest of our dinner. Terrific service, but again THE FOOD!!! Magnificient.

We arrived at 5 pm on a Tuesday before a 7 pm theater start. We weren't sure how busy they would be or how quickly we would get through dinner. But we had an enjoyable and nicely paced, 3-course dinner. Their fresh pastas were great. I had their cacio e pepe and garganelli, and their desserts - panna cotta and almond tart - were equally delicious. Their cocktails were also excellent. We will definitely go back and eat on their outdoor patio next time.

ViceVersa is one of my favorite NYC restaurants and has been for many years. The food is excellent , the wait staff is great and the ambience is lovely and soothing. It's by far and away the best place to dine before or after a Broadway show.

Vice Versa is always consistently excellent. From the moment you walk inside and greeted from very warm people through to dessert which are always amazing. The food is excellent. I’ve had many of the items on the menu. Everything is so good that I sometimes have trouble choosing. I strongly recommend going there.
