Viceroy Royal Indian Dining
Waiter was beyond rude. Food was okay but the surly attitude of the waiter pretty much ruined the entire experience. We will not be back under any circumstances.
We went for Mother's Day weekend and despite that it was not super crowded. The food was amazing!! I thoroughly enjoyed every bite. We ordered samosas for appetizers which came with a mint and tamarind sauce. And then chicken tikki masala, curry chicken, lamb saag, and nan for the main meal. Portions are large and great for leftovers. The only downside was the service was a little rushed. I think it's more so cultural rather than them trying to push you out. They are eager to serve and help but giving you more time to relax and enjoy some time at the restaurant would be appreciated. All around though 2 big thumbs up! Will definitely be back.
I would recommend it to anyone who likes Indian and/or spicy food. I would definitely go back. While ordering my food I ask for extra spicy and the waiter said how spicy on a scale of 1-5. I said 5. Food was delicious.
Food was delicious.
Viceroy food is also good and is reasonably priced. Service was a little off on this occasion but nor bad and would not impact my decision to return.
This is a wonderful Indian restaurant. The food is always delicious. A chef/food service instructor/friend used to regularly take students there to see how to keep a clean kitchen! They always ask about the level of spiciness you want; I don't go past medium - and I can't imagine what "Indian hot" is like! All the accompaniments - raita, chutneys, breads - are consistently prepared and beautifully complement the meal. Portions are large enough that some food usually comes home. Service is attentive; I like that I never have to ask for water; my glass is always full. Whether you love Indian food or are new to it, this is the place!
Great food. Good time.
The staff were helpful and friendly. The food was delicious! Our favorites are Chicken Kahari, sag paneer and begum bhatta.
It was good overall but not as good as we’ve had it at an another Indian Restaurant in town. Naan was a bit undercooked, Tikka sauce & Cilantro Chutney were too sweet -almost sugary! Curry Chicken was good. Having several waiters come to the table at diff times was confusing. But Thank you for being open Christmas Evening!
Always great. The family loves going here.
Greats food, the ambience can use some better design.
Very popular restaurant. The portions are large, so our party of six only ordered five dishes and we still had food left over to take home. The medium spicy was spicy - they are not kidding. The Lamb Saag was my favorite.
We weren't expecting much. Just a dinner. And we were blown away. Service was flawless. And the food was wonderful. This was not our first Indian restaurant. Usually my family complaints. Too hot. Not hot enough. Everything was spot on. Even my mother, who finds everything too hot, was thrilled. Thank you. we will be back.
Great meal, great service. Everything we ate was yummy... chicken Tikka masala, chicken tandoori, chicken korma, lamb vindaloo...all well seasoned and cooked perfectly.
Excellent lunch buffet, great menu selections. Love love love Indian cuisine!
Consistently outstanding food, attractively served and excellent service. Also not noisy so you can actually carry on a conversation. LOVE this place.
Always good food and great service. Happy that they seem to be getting busier. Service was still very good even though the restaurant was as crowded as we've ever seen it on a week night. Staff and owner are very friendly and they cook authentic fare to order.
Delicious and authentic Indian food . Can’t wait to go back !
Excellent variety of Indian dishes in all categories, nicely prepared and presented. Service attentive and good. Price points good - a very nice experience for small group, lends itself to sharing the food and experience.
The lunch buffet had a vast selection
Wonderful food, great service. In an unassuming strip mall, but definitely worth a visit. Highly recommended!
Every time I go food is always delicious and very impressed with the consistency of quality
Food quality was bad. Curries did not have enough gravy and meat, was quite tasteless. Noise level was unusually high. Naan bread was not fresh even though brought to the table. Overall a never again experience.
The servers were very friendly but some seemed to have a tenuous grasp of English. A little bit our fault but when we weren’t ready to give our order, the server went away and it was 10-15 minutes before he returned. Some confusion between the servers I guess.
The food was tasty but not exceptional. On the plus side, one of the dishes was not spicy enough and they pleasantly and quickly added spice to it and gave extra to boot.
Love this place. It was our 1st time trying the buffet. We would not do the buffet again because of lack of tandori options, no seafood and the quality was not up to par compared to the regular menu. Service is always consistently great. We do not love the atmosphere as it is outdated, feels overdone and somehow lacks warmth.
Excellent food and service. Highly recommended. We'll be back
Great food. Outstanding service.
The food was fine and in good portions. The best part was our waiter, Shrihari. He was extremely courteous, kind, attentive and made some good recommendations for us to try. We loved the suggestions he made.
Good very tasty and great value. Was served not very hot in temperature
Delicious food and great atmosphere! Will definitely go again, as it was authentic food, ample portion sizes, and tasty!
Real good , great service too !! 😎
Excellent Indian Cuisine combined with attractive decor.
This was our second visit First one was ok. This time we ordered goat karahi it was mostly fat and bones not much to eat. Tandoori chicken was not served right either. Will give it a chance.
The staff was very accommodating in celebrating my friend's birthday. I really appreciate their efforts.
Tucked in a retail strip center near the Perimeter Mall, this place serves well prepared Punjab style curry. I’ve been eating and cooking Indian curry for over 40 years. The chicken korma at Viceroy was up there with the best I’ve had. Portions were more than ample and wait staff was attentive.
Classic Indian food. Tasty and satisfying...
As always the food and service were both excellent.
Food is always excellent, as is service. My fave is the butter chicken & Tandoori chicken. Naan bread is addictive. Coconut rice pudding is so good. Food is delicious & most are not too spicy. Service, you can always count on. You can call any server on the floor & there are more than enough to go around. Great for business, for bdays, or just coz you’re craving. Viceroy never disappoints. We can always count on consistently great food & service. Will return again & again. 5 out of 5!
Best Indian food we’ve had, samosas were fresh and cooked just right. Chicken coconut was amazing.
Our first time there. We had the curry chicken, medium spicy. It was delicious served with plenty of freshly made basmati rice. We ordered plain naan and garlic naan. Both were outstanding; warm and fresh. The service and food were exceptional. We will be going back to try different menu items.
