My server was great. Unfortunately I didn’t get her name (I lack on that department!) She made sure me feel like a king. She was genuine about helping me have the best experience possible, even spoke to the manager after I said the “Tuna” plate was good, but I would’t order it again. The manager came to talk to me and was very attentive at my input. I’m not a food expert, but I certainly felt respected and valued.
Being a repeat customer every time I’m in town, that just reassured me of how good their service is.
Ohh, their Tiramisu with lady fingers is “to die for!”
Great experience overall. Will definitely be back.
Vic & Angelo’s is a favorite! We go often, always take company there, & are never disappointed. This Italian girl rarely goes out to eat Italian cuisine...but I love the authentic Italian dishes at this Delray Beach hotspot! Restaurant can be noisy...especially when it’s busy & the music is cranked up. But they’ll lower the volume if you ask!
Had to meet friends we hadn’t seen in awhile. V&A’s was perfect: I arrived alone for a table of 4 but they seated me and I was waited on immediately - classy. The drinks were ok, the food outstanding. We had the house garlic bread (YUM!), 2 appy’s, a salad and a pizza. The pizzas are made on a cookie sheet type of pan, so come out rectangular. Delicious homemade flavor, including the crust. We would definitely recommend going!
Restaurant recently changed owners, unbeknownst to us, and they have changed the menu. The Italian Salad is no longer available, though the waiter did say it was a very popular item. Another item that they are known for, their chicken wings, came out with a different preparation and were dry, and tasteless. Our pizza was burnt on the bottom and was fair at best. Salads, though on the pricier side, use to be plentiful and worth the money. Our Caesar salads (which is really only Romaine lettuce) were the size of 6” soup bowls and were $13 each. The manager came over and spoke at length to us, even took off the wings & pizza from bill. However, what was once out go to restaurant, is now off our list. Such a disappointing evening!
Recent new ownership is noticeable with obvious improvement in food and service which had been pretty average in the past. Employees are pleasant and are hustling and new Manager Enrico is making sure everything is smooth and customer-friendly. I think they make all their pastas in house too. Great value happy hour ends at 6 now but is one of the best on the Avenue. Really happy with the change!
I made a 7pm reservation at 12 Noon for 4 people. At 3 pm I tired to add 1 more person and I was told they were OVER BOOKED and no way could I add 1 more person. When we arrived it was very loud and they did HAVE ROOM for 1 more person. We ordered a bottle of wine that they could not find and after 20 minutes the Mgr. found it. Then we ordered a 2nd bottle and they either didn't have it or could not find it so they gave us another brand for the same price. When we booked it was for a birthday and they never asked us if we wanted any special desert and no special treatment was asked or offered. BUT the food was excellent.
This restaurant never fails: great food, service, and a fun atmosphere. Like the best do, this place runs like a top. Servers move around a very crowded space with speed and grace and it's fun to watch. Best yet is the ever surprising blast of the train as it races by yards from your table: I kid you not and I love it!
Great service and definitely wonderful food..... I would recommend this place to anyone who likes yummy food. :) The atmosphere is very active and lively.
Waiter told us that the restaurant was bought out so its not the same . The menu was very limited and the prices were HIGH . The waiter was good but " not friendly" ... He also told us that if you come before 6:00 prices would be half price ..So we might try that again but NOT in season ..Very noisy with the doors open and the tain coming by . BUT THE FOOD WAS GREAT AND THE CEASAR SALAD WAS AWESOME .
Food was absolutely amazing! Being a NJ Italian American I never expect great Italian outside of the tri state area. The calamari app was meh - it was very stretchy. The provided garlic bread was divine, and the beet salad was excellent.
Portions are HUGE and what appears to be individual pizzas are enough for 4!! I had the truffle mushroom pizza and it was AMAZING!!!!!! Leftovers for 2 days! Others has chicken milanese, broccoli rabe & chicken & veal parm. Delicious, and again HUGE portions. THe atmosphere of the restaurant fits right in with the vibe of the neighborhood it is located in, but a little too loud, noisy and hectic for me. Server Guillermo & his helper "B" were A++++!. Food came out quickly but timely, only downside was waiting a loooong time for the check as I sat there needing to lay down in a food coma! Would def go again if down there & looking for a LIVELY meal!
We had been to this restaurant many times in the last few years on the recommendation of friends and had wonderful meals and service.
Our experience the other night was horrible from the service to the food.
I guess the new owner is not on top of things and going on the previous owners reputation.
I am very disappointed!!
Never had brunch there. Really enjoyed it. The French toast was delicious. My husband had pancakes. Very good. We will be back.
Not a ton of food selections, but food was good. Very noisy.
Under New Management now.
Sad, it “Was” one of my favorites
They have a limited menu and the pre cook their food.
The manager is rude and condescending.
They definitely will not see a lot of the locals back.
The rest rooms were filthy also.
Excellent in every respect!
Service a little sketchy. Food very good. But they should have warned us that the portions were very large. We definitely overspent. Tool it all home.
It has been better. Bread and meatballs were good. Pasta and pizza were not up to par. Better a few years ago. It seems management changed.
Came to Vic and Angelo’s for Valentine’s Day dinner and we had a really nice experience. The service and ambience were both great and the pear tortellini was superb. Highly recommended for a nice date night!
Chicken was un edible. Tasted rubbery almost like Tyson frozen chicken breast
Food was very good but service was embarrassingly poor. Our server, Jillian, didn’t know the menu or wine offerings, and was not very attentive. Appeared to be poorly trained.
Fantastic food. The waiter so very pleasent and the food came out so quick. Would recommend to all my friends and family..
Can't wait to return and try other menu items.
Atlantic Ave is the place to be.
When we first arrived, it took a while for someone to come over to our table. Once he did though, it was a great experience and we would definitely come back.
Food has gone so downhill. Menu changed and food quality is awful. I come from out of town to go here. Have been eating here for 5 years. I used to say it was one of my faves. Now it’s worse than mediocre. I would rather eat a frozen pizza. Service was also off. Took them 40 mins to refill an empty glass.
Horrible! Original owner is no longer! New owners shortened the menu and the food was not good at all! I'm surprised they can even still use the name Vic and Angelo's. We won't be back. Palm Beach Gardens still has a real Vic and Angelo's that we will go to from now on.
Best bronzino I’ve had in DB! My favorite fish, and it was delicious! My husband had veal parm, and although it was okay, he thought it was not the most tender veal. Overall very good. We’d definitely return and he’d order something else.
Fantastic food. Great service. Fabulous atmosphere. We will return for their happy hour between 3:00om - 6:00pm when the whole menu & drinks are half price 🎉🎉❤️❤️
It was so disappointing to find out that Vic and Angelo have sold to a new group. The new crew came in one week ago....Cleared out all the original servers and chefs.
The classic big , signature pizza was soggy and uncooked.... needed to be sent back . Our server was on the job one day! My dish.... chicken Milanese... was skimpy, chicken was thin , greasy and was cooked with a piece of plastic wrap in the breading!!
Watch your check.. new server overcharged our drinks..
The end of a wonderful restaurant!
Happy hour misinformed on website
Home made pasta not great
Mussels v good
More expensive than anticipated
My boyfriend and I made a reservation here for Valentine's Day. Our table was squeezed between two other tables and we felt extremely uncomfortable and had no privacy while we talked. It was so loud, not only because it was overpacked but because a train went by every 5-10 minutes. We got up and left after our appetizer. Extremely disappointed!
