About Vic & Angelo's - Delray Beach
Vic & Angelo's menu items are inspired by our desire to transform the American approach to fine, Italian dining into a memorable experience that pays homage to the authentic culinary traditions of Italy.
We have traveled the world looking for the greatest dishes and finest ingredients. We take pride in only importing the freshest products and ingredients for our culinary delights. Our sauces are made with San Marzano tomatoes imported from directly from Naples and our pizza dough contains water imported from New York.
Each of our signature Italian dishes are created in house, using traditional cooking methods practiced by Italians for countless generations. We even hand-make our pasta, mozzarella and sausage!
Our atmosphere is warm and friendly, yet elegant and refined. We believe in the traditional Italian dinner, where everyone comes together to feast. So we invite our guests to sit down, relax, and enjoy their food and conversation with family and friends.

Vic & Angelo's - Delray Beach Ratings and Reviews
Excellent service and very good food. 6 friends getting together. Salads big enough to share. The our friends tried some of the specials of the day, the scallops and Osso Bucco and thoroughly enjoyed those. I had veal Marsala and didn't leave a drop on my plate. Will definitely return when I'm in the neighborhood.
VERY loud, as usual. They have changed their menu, which I think is a negative. Very large portions, but I felt the food quality has declined. We used to come here often, but with the changes in menu and quality, I think we’re taking Vic & Angelo’s off our list.
There were 10 of us for a special dinner.
When our main course arrived - each plate was 'auctioned off'. In other words, each dish was called out loudly and we had to raise our hands to claim it.
This, in my opinion, is not how food should be served in a white table cloth restaurant. It ruined it for me - especially since I was the host and paid for the meals.
We must say; what started off as a horrible dining experience; actually turned out to be an overall pretty good "save" by the management of this establishment. So, in summary; we went to Vic and Angelos for dinner on 10/13/17. We had a 7:15 reservation, showed up on time, and we were seated within minutes. We then sat at our table with no water, no utensils, no bread, no attention from anyone for 20 min......So, at approx 7:35, my wife and I got up to leave and find another restaurant. On the way out, the hostess was kind enough to notice that we were leaving after we just arrived 20 min earlier. She asked if everything was OK, and i replied to her, no, we sat and tried to flag down a waiter, but nobody even came by our table...so we were going to find another place to dine. Well....the hostess walked us back to our table, flagged down our waiter, and immediately he took our order. He seemed a bit "off"/nervous/jittery, but that could be due to a rough day....or then again, it is Delray, so could be a number of factors. (: The food came within 10 min (or less) , we ate, and the food was very good. The next morning, the manager Miguel unexpectedly called us to see how our experience was at V&A. We told him the facts from our night prior, and he was very appreciative. We didn't expect anything as compensation; simply that it wasn't a fine-dining experience due to the lack of service. Miguel not only took our feedback to his staff, but also was generous enough to offer us a gift card to make up for our overall impression of the establishment. That being said, we commend them for going above and beyond. We will be returning in the future, with a smile on our face, and hopefully better service. As a business owner myself, and local resident for 18 years, I can say that Vic And Angelos knows how to make things right....
Very noisy and energetic environment. Not ideal if you want to have a conversation at dinner without screaming.
Food was very good. Service was awful!
They seem to want to rush you out (in our case there was not another seating after us so it’s unckear why they rushed service).
After bringing friends here annually when they come to visit this visit will be our last. The old classic spaghetti Vongole recipe has changed and what was a favorite was a bomb! The food had no taste! The garlic bread which was always a reason to break the no carbs vow was bland and the chicken picatta which I always get no longer comes with risotto but small boiled potatoes with no taste! My husband got the $49 pork chop special which sounded amazing and was nowhere near great and not worth $49. Sad to say that Vic & Angelo's will be off our old standby list.
The waiter was professional and exceptional. They need to go back to the classics...
Vic and Angelo's is a family favorite. Whenever we have a special occasion or just want to treat ourselves to a great night out this is our go to spot. Waitstaff has always been friendly and very attentive. Meals are always delicious. Great vibe, fun but cozy and comfortable atmosphere.
We have been fans of V&A for years but this time we started off on the wrong foot from the start. The restaurant was nearly empty and when we asked to sit in a both or more comfortable chairs by the window our request was met with a flat rejection. We sat our entire meal looking at the tables we were not permitted to sit at; quite ridiculous IMO. There is a lot of competition in Delray and we will simply choose another place next time. Regarding the food, my husband loved the meatball but I thought the Fra Diablo was unremarkable and overpriced. The wine list was ho hum. PS - The garlic bread was amazing though!
Enjoyed the food, but 1st time we had to wait almost an hour for a table - even though we had a reservation. Not a place to go for a quiet dinner. Music was loud & disco ball was twirling on a Saturday night! Even though I had asked for a booth in the side room when I made the reservation, Unfortunately our table was right by the bar, which made having a conversation almost impossible.
The atmosphere is very nice. We sat outside per our request and the service did not suffer as a result. 2 out of 3 of our dishes were great. Unfortunately for one of my friends, her salad was awful. She had ordered a salad withOUT with pepperoncinis but there they were, sliced and throughout the salad. As a result, her mouth was on fire as the juices had run through everything. Yes they remade her salad for her but she didn't get it until we were essentially finished with our meals. Surprisingly they still charged her for the salad. Another surprise was the charge for her soda refills. Our server very nicely offered her several refills., but never said there would be a charge for each one. Additionally, the glass was 80% ice, so she paid nearly $12 for a diet coke! We also needed a refill on the garlic bread, especially to calm her over-spiced mouth. The 1st batch was delicious. The 2nd batch was over baked and hard as a rock.
All in all it was a nice evening with good food and fairly good service. It was just a shame that these little details popped up the way they did.
The garlic bread is awesome. Food is prepared perfectly and delicious. Portions are large. Our service was mediocre. We were a party of 6 and they jammed us into a round table for 4. It was a constant game of Tetris to get our drink glasses and food plates all on the table. Then we all had to sit back from the table so our knees wouldn't ram each other. Then the waitress forgot about us numerous times.
Worst of all is that the AC barely works towards back of restaurant (where was where we were sat). It was miserably hot. We were sweating at the table. Totally unacceptable. Although it is a nice restaurant with great food I suggest coming in your wife beater, swim trunks, and flip flops just in case you are seated towards the back. Unacceptable.
