About Vic & Angelo's - Delray Beach
Vic & Angelo's menu items are inspired by our desire to transform the American approach to fine, Italian dining into a memorable experience that pays homage to the authentic culinary traditions of Italy.
We have traveled the world looking for the greatest dishes and finest ingredients. We take pride in only importing the freshest products and ingredients for our culinary delights. Our sauces are made with San Marzano tomatoes imported from directly from Naples and our pizza dough contains water imported from New York.
Each of our signature Italian dishes are created in house, using traditional cooking methods practiced by Italians for countless generations. We even hand-make our pasta, mozzarella and sausage!
Our atmosphere is warm and friendly, yet elegant and refined. We believe in the traditional Italian dinner, where everyone comes together to feast. So we invite our guests to sit down, relax, and enjoy their food and conversation with family and friends.

Vic & Angelo's - Delray Beach Ratings and Reviews
We go to Vic & Angelo's often for happy hour. The drinks are great and the happy hour food is excellent. Dinner on the other hand is challenging. The noise level is high making it difficult to have a conversation. Not to mention the close proximity to passing trains. It's definitely not for the faint of heart, particularly "in season".
Great location and menu on the Ave in Delray. Sitting outside is both fun for people watching and distracting with the loud motorcycles and cars - so sit outside only if you’re ok with the noise! The menu and food is fantastic but the service is highly variable based on who serves you - this past Saturday service was very poor and I was embarrassed with visitors from out of town on the level of disregard for our table.
Was given a booth. We asked for outside & was told they will not seat 7 there. Went to the restrooms & on the way noticed large parties. It was brighter, more opened & better people watching than being the only table taken in our dark section. We had some people that couldn’t even read the menu it was too dark. Had out of town guest & was disappointed when the front, bar area or by the kitchen were much better seating choices. It seemed that this was the only area the hostess wanted us. Not too happy
Excellent service and very good food. 6 friends getting together. Salads big enough to share. The our friends tried some of the specials of the day, the scallops and Osso Bucco and thoroughly enjoyed those. I had veal Marsala and didn't leave a drop on my plate. Will definitely return when I'm in the neighborhood.
VERY loud, as usual. They have changed their menu, which I think is a negative. Very large portions, but I felt the food quality has declined. We used to come here often, but with the changes in menu and quality, I think we’re taking Vic & Angelo’s off our list.
There were 10 of us for a special dinner.
When our main course arrived - each plate was 'auctioned off'. In other words, each dish was called out loudly and we had to raise our hands to claim it.
This, in my opinion, is not how food should be served in a white table cloth restaurant. It ruined it for me - especially since I was the host and paid for the meals.
We must say; what started off as a horrible dining experience; actually turned out to be an overall pretty good "save" by the management of this establishment. So, in summary; we went to Vic and Angelos for dinner on 10/13/17. We had a 7:15 reservation, showed up on time, and we were seated within minutes. We then sat at our table with no water, no utensils, no bread, no attention from anyone for 20 min......So, at approx 7:35, my wife and I got up to leave and find another restaurant. On the way out, the hostess was kind enough to notice that we were leaving after we just arrived 20 min earlier. She asked if everything was OK, and i replied to her, no, we sat and tried to flag down a waiter, but nobody even came by our table...so we were going to find another place to dine. Well....the hostess walked us back to our table, flagged down our waiter, and immediately he took our order. He seemed a bit "off"/nervous/jittery, but that could be due to a rough day....or then again, it is Delray, so could be a number of factors. (: The food came within 10 min (or less) , we ate, and the food was very good. The next morning, the manager Miguel unexpectedly called us to see how our experience was at V&A. We told him the facts from our night prior, and he was very appreciative. We didn't expect anything as compensation; simply that it wasn't a fine-dining experience due to the lack of service. Miguel not only took our feedback to his staff, but also was generous enough to offer us a gift card to make up for our overall impression of the establishment. That being said, we commend them for going above and beyond. We will be returning in the future, with a smile on our face, and hopefully better service. As a business owner myself, and local resident for 18 years, I can say that Vic And Angelos knows how to make things right....
Very noisy and energetic environment. Not ideal if you want to have a conversation at dinner without screaming.
Food was very good. Service was awful!
They seem to want to rush you out (in our case there was not another seating after us so it’s unckear why they rushed service).
