   I drove 2 hrs to take my 93 yr. old Mom to see her grandson perform on the stage @ Vibrato. We were immediately greeted by Sylvia with a smile and a welcoming voice. Although we were a few minutes early for our dinner/show reservation, we were seated in, what I determined to be the best seat in the house. This visit was a surprise for my Mom as well as her grandson (my son - the percussionist with Andy Vargas' group "Los Souleros"). From this point on the rest of the evening was one of the best experiences that both my Mom and I have ever had. Our server, Michelle, was on top of things from the very beginning. Inasmuch as this was my first visit, she helped me work my way through the amazing menu by making some excellent recommendations with drinks, food for Mom and my steak & lobster dinner. Not only was Andy Vargas an excellent singer/entertainer but the rest of the members of his group were extremely talented musicians. The music was "happy & lively", appealing to all in attendance, with many of the customers dancing in the aisles. A special moment for my Mom was when the sax player came out to our table and for a moment serenaded her - it brought tears to her eyes. The final touch was when a Vibrato staff member presented my Mom with a couple of stems of beautiful orchids. I cannot say enough about our evening. This was not only a great dinner/show but an "experience" well worth the drive and the price. I am looking forward to returning and having others who enjoy the finer things in life join me. P.S. I grew up listening to Herb Alpert & The Tijuana Brass but also I have been a musician (keyboardist/singer) for many years as well as my mother having been a pianist in classical music and 2 of my other sons played trumpet in some of my original bands many years ago. This evening was a night of pure pleasure and great memories. Thank you Herb and your staff.

   We went to see Ariana Savalas' cabaret show. The venue was fabulous, the food was delicious, and the entertainment was outstanding.

   Herb Alpert's the Vibrato is one of the best restaurant/music venues in the LA area. There is one band that plays there probably 10 times per year, Paris Chansons. I follow this band to other venues, but the Vibrato is hands down my favorite. The accoustics are certainly the best I've seen. Herb Alpert I'm sure has something to do with this high quality. The sound mixer is spot on...very very good! Now, the food is awesome. I usually get either the salmon or halibut at about $35 or so, and always delicious. And the Red-headed Amsterdam cocktail is my favorite. The only real issue I've ever had is the wait staff. It's pretty good. Maybe a few more waiters. It's hard to complain at all because I really do love the Vibrato. I continue to take as many friends there to dine and hear my favorite band as possible. I highly recommend this venure...and the band. You will be pleasantly delighted. PS love the beautiful ambiance and paintings. Wear red..you'll fit right in.

   It's an artfully appointed hot spot offering live musical entertainment, great food & good drinks! Even with a lot of people inside, gives a cozy vibe and every table has a good view of stage ... I had a wonderful time and will definitely return! Five stars!!!!!

   Best nightclub in Los Angeles. Always great jazz. Love the Hefti Plays Hefti band! Good food, too and excellent service.

   Fabulous intimate venue. Hefti Plays Hefti was remarkable & acoustics ideal, not too loud! Food was lovely but a tad over priced with cover charge. Will return, as best small venue in So Cal.

   Vibrato was outstanding. I was there celebrating my birthday and Bob Desena's performance was wonderful, as was Gregory (our very attentive waiter). Thanks for making my birthday great.

    The food was delicious and our waiter was outstanding!!! Our drinks were good and we ordered the night's special (surf and turf) which the entire table loved! My father ordered the lamb chops and they were delicious! So much so that I will be ordering that on my next visit! The vegetable selections are incredible! The only part of our meal that we were alittle disappointed with were the desserts. We ordered the peach and apple cobbler and once our server discovered that we weren't pleased with them he took them off the bill even though we hadn't requested that. The whole table was truly impressed with that! Our overall night was filled with good food, great service, and delightful entertainment!! We will definitely be returning to Vibrato!
