Service and food were very good. the seafood stew is to die for and the portion generous. the wine selection is extensive we had no trouble finding what we were looking for. will definitely come back (again)!
First time visiting Vibo. We had amazing food and amazing service. Live piano player was an added bonus. We will be back for sure.
Awesome experience as always! Thank you Luca and your amazing staff!
It was an enjoyable dining experience. The food was good & we didn’t have a long wait.
95th birthday celebration.
Truly a memorable and lovely experience.
Thank you Vibo and thank you to our wonderful server, Andrew☀️
We first heard about ViBo from friends and have been faithful visitors ever since. The service is wonderful (attentive, but not intrusive). The wait staff "stay in the game" and know when to and when not to do things to make the evening a success. The ambiance is second to none, and one does not have to compete with the music or neighbours to have a normal conversation . The food is excellent and resembles the description on the menu.
Great atmosphere and food! The piano player created a classy atmosphere perfect for date night!
Our first visit exceeded expectations! We will definitely return. Their knives are dull, but we
managed as the "cibo" was so delicious.
We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch lunch at Vibo. It is consistently great service and the food is amazing
Vibo is our favourite neighbourhood restaurant. The entire staff is refined but down to earth and the food is always top quality and delicious. Amazing spot for lunch meetings or for connecting with friends and the perfect setting for a romantic dinner or a night out with the people that matter most. Every pasta dish is a must and the entrees offer a full range for every diet and palate. Be sure to end with the Chocolate molten lave cake! Etobicoke's longest standing landmark restaurant and my favourite restaurant.
Server was fantastic! Food was very good but not as amazing as we remembered. We were seated by the piano and found it a bit loud for conversation. Would ask to be seated elsewhere in the restaurant next time.
Loved everything!!! Our new west end...high end..high quality date night go to!
Fresh food creatively prepared and excellent service
Feed was good, service was excellent. They sat us right beside a wood burning fireplace which was great.
It felt a little overpriced.
We are regulars and went there for Valentine’s Day. We were not aware of the prix fixe menu (though it was probably stated somewhere and I just didn’t notice) - 80$ for a 3 course meal. The meal was exquisite with very very generous portions. Yummy! The reservations were staggered so we didn’t feel congested even though it was a busy night. Vibo never disappoints.
Valentine’s Eve and last day of Winterlicious so it was busy. Service was good and quite fast. Wine list was good with many options and price points.
It has a busy but not frenetic atmosphere.
We’ll be back.
Nice winterlicious deal
We came to celebrate Valentines’s Day early and take advantage of Winterlicious. The warm mushroom salad was outstanding. The osso buco was good but the sauce was much too weak, too bland, to pair with the polenta.
The Warm Forest Mushroom salad and Warm sticky toffee caramel date cake with cafe latte gelato is perfect for the winter weather.
Disappointed with the food and service for Winterlicious. Had the pork tenderloin and it wasn't bad but came with a side of roast potatoes and spinach which was tasteless and looked awful...a blob of green on the plate. Our entree took an hour and we had to ask about it. We paid for 2 hours for parking and had to rush through lunch and our bill came with our dessert so we could get to the car in time. It's a lovely restaurant and would go back but not at Winterlicious
Excellent service by Terry. Food was very good, which is normal for Vibo. We have been a customer for over 40 years and just keep coming back. We know that we can always depend on having a great meal
They were sorely understaffed. Our poor waiter tried his best but could not keep up with the demand for his service. We had to wait for an hour for our food. The food was good but when one of our party got the wrong dish the chef tried to lie his way out of it. He tried to pass it off as the right dish.
Hello Egidia, Yes with Winterlicious, reservations can go from 40 guests to 80 just a few hours before the shift. I would have loved to help you if you believe our Chef would lie to a guest, that would be totally inappropriate. As well either the dish is the right one or the wrong one. The Winterlicious program has 5 choices of main dishes. Please let u know how we can help the next time you are in. Glad you enjoyed the food! Thank you, Luca
We all enjoyed different dishes from the Winterlicious menu as well as the regular menu. Especially liked the Pork Tenderloin
This was our third visit to Vibo and as always, it was wonderful. The food is fantastic and our server was very attentive, positive and friendly. We look forward to our next visit.
We went for a winterlicious lunch and enjoyed our lunch and stay very much - with one notable exception. Warm mushroom salad and rice ball appetizers were excellent. Mains were good, however, the vegetables that accompanied 2 of the mains ranged from luke warm to cold. But we didn't go for the vegetables! Desserts were very good. The big disappointment was the wine list. The cheapest wine, as I recall was $48 a bottle. I'll gladly pay that for a decent wine however, in this case it was a wine you can pick up at the LCBO for $8. A 6X mark up is a bit much in my opinion. We always enjoy wine with our restaurant meals but tend to shun those restaurants that have an excessive markup. So we'll likely pass on Vibo in the future.
Hello We are so happy you enjoyed your $28 Winterlicous 3 course meal lunch. Yes the most accessible wine is priced at $46 a bottle. Our wines are all decent. The mark ups we charge are greater with the more accessible choices. As the prices go up the mark ups go down as well. A $60 wine is a below industry standard 3 times mark up. The mark ups we charge, pay our server chefs property tax utilities for chairs tables linens bread olive oil balsamic vinegar, butter - all included in the price.
Had a lovely selection of options for winterlicious across all parts of the meal. Would definitely recommend.
We had a nice dining experience for our first visit to this restaurant during Winterlicious.
The place is decorated very tastefully (I loved the stained glass windows) , a great mixture of modern and old. The Winterlicious offering was great, we had a hard time to choose. Everything was delicious! The only thing that I was not impressed about was the service. It seemed like they forgot about us, so we had to actually ask for a server after a while. Once they were notified though, our server was very attentive.
All in all it was a great experience and we are definitely going back!
The gnocchi were like light deliciously delightful pillows.
I had them in a half gorgonzola, half red sauce, Rose sauce. Perfect.
The calamari were crisp & the best i have had. I find them often oversalted elsewhere.
I had my fathers after funeral reception there last August. The meal & service were impeccable. My father would have approved.
I have visited Vibo many times and it has never failed to please. Good food, good service and nice ambiance, especially with piano playing in the evening.
Tried the restaurant as part of the “Winterlicuous” promotion. Was not disappointed. An excellent cocktail menu and multiple vegetarian choices were pleasant surprises to compliment great service and excellent proximity to the subway
You cannot go wrong going to VIBO. The staff are outstanding and are very professional. A very friendly restaurant. the food is amazing.
The meal was very good value ,service was good ,they were busy ,timing and pacing excellent,a minor complaint is that they substituted spinach for the snow peas ,unfortunately the spinach had too much garlic (I have a hyper sensitivity) ,the ARCTIC CHAR was very good, the saffron sauce ,would have loved a little more ,service was personable ,they did well for the businesses level ,Overall a VERY GOOD value
Service well below par for a restaurant of this caliber.
Vibo is a Etobicoke staple! Great food, great service and amazing wine list. Definitely a must!
Amazing, as always
We stopped by here for the first time at the recommendation of friends and was not disappointed. Ambiance is nice, service is excellent, food was very good, prices were reasonable, and a decent wine list at different price points. I had the rabbit which was delicious, but be prepared for bones, my gf had the veal picata that she said was tasty and tender, and one other at the table had the gnocchi and couldn't stop raving about it! All in all color me impressed. I'd definitely go back and would easily recommend it.
Our server Jay was outstanding! We had a memorable dinner
I love everything about this restaurant. I eat here often and always enjoy my meal.
Always excellent , always know your meal will be fantastic. Neighbour gem.
We ordered the snapper, the cod and a pasta dish that was a lamb ragout and all three were delicious. The service was very good and the general experience was quite lovely. My only complaint would be that the wine prices are too high.
