Vibo Restaurant Ratings and Reviews
I frequent this restaurant often, the food is always what bring us back, excellent daily features, and the regular menu is fantastic. The veal is probably the best in the city. Service is always over the top, ownership takes great pride in his restaurant and it shows. I highly recommend this spot.
We had to wait 2 hours for our main course! The waitress didn't even come to say sorry or that it would be a wait! They should have given us an appetizer since we waited for 2 hours. I understand it was very busy but they should have done something since we had to wait 2 hours!
I had occasion to meet with friends for lunch. I had not seen them for 20 years. One lives in New York while the other lives in Palgrave. They asked me to arrange lunch and as an Etobicoke resident, I did not hesitate to recommend we meet at Vibo.
The food, service, ambiance and comfort is superior at this restaurant. I would highly recommend Vibo for any occasion. Very consistent.
Overall food was just fair. went for my wife's birthday and had not seen the restaurant after renovation......overall we generally like the restaurant. This time however was pretty average for the price. Waited 30 minutes for waiter to approach us for drinks. Food came fairly quickly after ordered. Son's $47. steak was under-cooked. My wife thought her Risotto was just ok.
The menu was pretty much the same after the renovation, we were hoping for a bit of new options. Not sure what they were going for in the renovated interior. It's a bit of a mish mash of different decorating. So overall for a $400. dinner, the result was pretty average.
Excellent value for the food. The food was delicious. The waitress recommended a wine for me and it was quite perfect for my meal. Excellent service. She truly listened to our needs and was not in a hurry even though it was a busy Saturday night.
The piano music was lovely although I would have liked less "lobby music" and more recognizable tunes.
I was in this restaurant many years ago and remember having many banquettes to sit at but now they only have them in the front. I found the chairs a bit uncomfortable.
I would definitely go back.
We ended up at vibo as my grandfather was visiting from out of town, the new renovations look fabulous and the overall dining experience was great. I would definitely recommend vibos for anyone looking to have a great dinner, excellent service and a large array of wines to choose from !
This was our first visit to Vibo for our entire table. We had a great experience and will be returning again, for sure.
We found the atmosphere, service, food and entertainment to be nothing short of fantastic.
The serving staff were very professional, exceptionally knowledgeable and fun. They made our experience even more enjoyable.
There I no doubt Vibo has a tremendous management team with a very strong focus on customer service.
Thanks to all for making my wife's birthday experience an exceptional evening.
This was my first visit to Vibo. I was looking for a nice location, with a well received menu, for a reunion with a friend I had not seen in over 45 years. The staff at Vibo did not disappoint. Our waiter was fantastic! Friendly, cheerful, attentive ( but also intuitive enough to stand down when he knew we were in the middle of a conversation) and professional in that he took my allergies very seriously and helped create a delicious safe meal for me. The food was absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was lovely and conducive to the type of catching up my friend and I had to do lol. (I loved the bar area, although we didn't sit there... next time ).
I truly look forward to dining there again, and using the ease of "Open Table" to reserve a table.
We hadn't been to VIBO for several years. Friends told us they go there frequently and told us how much they enjoyed it. It was our wedding anniversary and since VIBO had been recommended by our friends, we decided to try it. We were very pleased that we did. The food and service were excellent.
From the moment we walked in, the service was exceptional. The waiter we had was knowledgeable on both food and drink. The calamari was freshly cut and fried and very tender. Our main dishes were equally delicious and made with quality ingredients. Dessert was also good but not to the same level as the appetizers and main course but still quite delicious. Will definitely be heading back for another dinner there! Live piano was amazing as well, you must try this gem.
I think we were at VIBO on a bad night, food took an extraordinarily long time to come from the kitchen. The seafood pasta was thin on seafood, our friend ordered liver that she said was excellent and my wife had the lasagna which she liked. At these prices, the food simply has to be better.
We Celebrated a birthday at Vibo and we found that the food was outstanding. The staff was very good and the wine list was fairly extensive and not crazy expensive. There were 5 of us and we all agreed that we would love to come back. We would all recommend.
