   We went before a Blackhawks game, and it was our first time at the new location. The quality of the food was no where what it used to be. Portion sizes are smaller and with the exception of the rigatoni vodka, the food lacked flavor. Will not be returning unfortunately.

   Viaggio moved a bit east down Madison. The new place is awesome in design and the food and staff are truly amazing. Drinks were great the bartender (Jen ) was fabulous. Our meal was truly exceptional and Marcos our server did an excellent job . I say bravo and continued success . This is my favorite Italian restaurant.

   Our waiter Nico was lovely! He made us a dish from the old menu to accommodate a request! He and the rest of the staff were very attentive and kind. Loved it and will be back often!

    We came in on Friday and sat at the bar. The bartender was very attentive. We only got appetizers but they were excellent (bruschetta, sausage and peppers, and a caesar salad). I will definitely come back for a full meal!

    Great new location food is always the best! Make sure you have right address Uber is not updated so will take you 3 blocks away. It’s a great dinner spot.

    Loved ambiance and fun service with a traditional Italian feel. We got a variety of dishes including the vodka pasta, risotto, chicken marsala, and one of the specials and no one was ecstatic about their dishes, the pasta was overcooked. 7/10 meal.

    We sat down at 7:30, no one came to our table u til 7:55. The server forgot our drinks, asked for what we ordered again. We ordered our food and then our food, appetizer and drinks all came at once but not until 45 minutes later. My sister found hair in her pasta, the manager did not come speak with us. The manager did comp her food. They didn’t offer us anything else. They didn’t ask if we wanted another drink. We will not be returning.

    We felt rushed. Our appetizer plates with food still on them the server trued to take them away. Just returned from Italy. This would never happen. One is encouraged to enjoy each course.

    It has been a few years since I had been to Viaggio, and the food and service did not disappoint. I brought a few out of town work guests, and they loved it. Very friendly staff and the food was fantastic.

    When viaggio moved to its new location on the south side of the street it brought its excellent kitchen with it. All of the dishes were top notch and still affordably priced. I would give this place a five star but the noise level is way too high for conversation. It is like this every night

    We have been to Viaggio in Chicago at least 5 times and loved it. This was our first time in new space. Love the space. But the food wasn’t as good. Calamari was the highlight. Meatball salad hood too. But our entrees were not. Risotto was hard and not creamy. Penne bolognese didn’t have much flavor. We were disappointed.

    The only complaints were from my wife. She said her house salad was too heavy on the vinegar and the chicken was bland. When we told our waitress, she comped us for the salad which was nice. Hopefully, whoever was making the salad learns to do better next time.

    Everything was amazing! The service made you feel like you are part of the family. The food lived up to the amazing reviews I had read. I was only in town for a week but if I ever go back to Chicago, that will be my first stop.

    We felt very rushed during the whole process- we intended to stay for a few drinks, an appetizer and a meal before an event. We were rushed to order, rushed to eat (they tried to take our plates while we were still eating- 3 times!!!) and felt rushed to leave. The meals we ordered took 5 minutes or so to arrive- clearly not freshly prepared. It didn’t appear overly busy so I’m not sure why we were being rushed so much. The whole time we were there was about 1 hour, maybe an hour and 10 minutes. The meal tasted good, so that is a plus, but we ended up going down the street for more cocktails at a different location due to the rushed service. I’m pretty disappointed with the service this time around, as we are frequent diners at Viaggio and usually don’t have any issues like this.

    I had been to Viaggio many times before they moved to their new location and always found the food exceptional. We ordered the eggplant stack which I have had previously and loved, last night the eggplant was so tough that I couldn't eat it, I also had the chicken Milanese which was tasty but too thick with way to much arugala, I have also had this dish before and loved it. Everything also seemed much pricier than before. The ambience and the drinks were great. Hopefully this was a bad night and i will give it another try. Since this was one of my favorites.

    We went here for my birthday dinner. The food was just ok, very bland overall and the service was not very good. We had to wait at least 10-15 minutes to put in an initial order and throughout the dinner kept losing our server and they forgot to give us silverware/napkins. They got my drink order wrong as well. They did bring out chocolate cake for dessert which was nice but it was very rich. I would probably not go here to eat again.
