Via Verdi Cucina Italiana
Via Verdi Cucina Italiana is headed by Fabrizio and Nicola Carro, who grew up in Northern Italy. They have used their cooking talent at the Trump SoHo hotel, the Martha Stewart show, the Today show and Rocco’s Dinner Party. Stop by the Social Bar for a drink after work or meet a group of friends and sit at a private table or at the bar while enjoying signature cocktails and some bar bites. Via Verdi also offers an outdoor patio that is open year round. The green garden space is set up for a lovely weekend brunch or to accommodate a large group for dinner. It is the perfect place to eat al fresco.
Enjoy authentic Italian food with a partner seated in the Indoor Boutique. Along with homemade pasta, perfectly paired wine and lowered lighting, the secluded wine cave creates the perfect romantic atmosphere for an unforgettable dinner.
grilled seabass / salmoriglio sauce / olives / broccolini

tagliolini / porcini mushrooms / parmesan / truffle sauce
Great ambiance, service & food.
Tasty food 🥘 great service
Amazing and consistent!
It took far too long for anyone to pay attention that we were standing there for 10 minutes waiting to be greeted was annoying. Then I had to walk in to the bar area and asked 3 different people about being seated for our reservation.
Service was slow
Octopus a disappointment, I couldn't finish it.
Otherwise, everything else was good
A perfect night out!!! The famous Nicola and Fabrizio Carro made the whole experience very enjoyable!! I even bought a cook book and Nicola signed it for me!!! 10/10 will come again!
This is always a reliable evening out. I've enjoyed the whole Bronzino which is filleted at the table and perfectly cooked. The tuna was excellent. The eggplant parm is very good and filling. The young woman server we had on both our recent visits was lovely. We were able to spend a relaxing meal, outside on the patio under an awning (in case it rained). Everyone wore masks unless they were eating. Tables were distanced. It was a great night out. We would go back!
Great individual branzino, vitello tonnato and shrimp risotto. Excellent service.
Our favorite restaurant in South Florida. We've been there many times and will be going many more. Great food and great wine at reasonable prices. Highly recommend!
We had been before and had a good experience . This time service was very lousy , food average . Nothing special .
The bill came with 20% tip included, and because service was not to the standards, we wanted to give 18% instead.
They didn’t want to change it saying we were obliged to pay 20%!!!
Finally, we ended up paying 18%.
We hadnt been here in over a year. The food was delicious. Vitello Tonnato and Braised beef raviolis were excellent. Nice service and lovely patio setting which is a real plus during COVID.
Wonderful Italian...friendly ambiance...always a delight to dine here for well prepared and flavorful dishes
The food is good solid Italian mixed with an a new concept using hearts of palm. Very innovative cuisine. Outside seatings only drawback is all the noise off Biscayne Blvd. overall great place to come in an have a solid meal!
It is a nice place, with a nice terrace to dine outside. The food is delicious and the prices are reasonable. I greatly enjoyed my salmon with spinach and machiatto.
So happy to be back at Via Verdi that I wanted to order everything on the menu! EXCELLENT....can't wait to go back
Good Italian food without much influence of being in the US.
The Special wine list offers good italian wines at around 30$ per bottle.
Very good value for money.
Excellent for COVID environment, dining outside with fair distance between each table.
Amazing service friendly staff food was incredible as always
This was our first time at Via Verdi Cucina Italiana and we were very pleased. We were seated right away upon arrival and the waiter was very pleasant and attentive. The courses were served at very relaxed intervals so we could enjoy them at a relaxed pace. The food was very good. I had the Vitello Tonnato and my wife had the Calimari for appetizers. Both were excellent. I had the Cacio E Pepe for my main course and it was one of the best I have had. My wife requested Spaghetti with pesto, which was not on the menu, and the Chef graciously prepared it for her and it was also excellent. We will definitely be returning when we come back to Miami.
The food and service were both wonderful. Parking is not an issue so the whole experience was great. I’ll be back.
Wonderful food and service! I had the sea bass, great, grilled veggies were perfect! Waiter was great and very prompt to any of our needs. Highly Recommend !!
Very pleasantly surprised by how quiet the evening was. Often it’s so loud conversation is impossible.
Great italian food and excelent service and ambiance, but disagree with 20% tip included for group of 5. They need to check the appearance and cleanliness of the bathrooms
Good Italian food. Attentive service. Good value for quality meal. Would recommend dining here
This place is one of the best Italian restaurant.
Very kind very good food.
But just check your bill, 20% tips are included.
Il vero ristorante Italiano a Miami. Sempre una garanzia. Top Top
Great foods at a reasonable rate.
Wonderful food and service.
Unfortunately we reserved on the evening that the employees were having their own Halloween Party and they were much more interested in each other than their guests. The loud traffic from Biscayne Blvd and the loud DJ music made it impossible to carry on a conversation. This is our fifth or sixth visit and the food is consistently good, but the service was so lacking, that this may have been our last visit. One server (Peter Pan) had NO idea what he was doing and I fault the owners for not training properly.
I am generally not generous with 5 star ratings. This little gem gets them all on point. Value, food, service, ambiance and comfort level. First time there will not be my last. Neighborhood feel, authentic yet unpretentious, great happy hour, indoor/outdoor seating and parking a breeze. Wish every eating establishment could be so simply good and enjoyable. Salute' to Via Verdi for a job well done.
I had dinner here on a week day. Super casual place. I had octopus n shrimp risotto. Both very well done.
Service good ok. My server was so casual. Too casual at the point that he did not mark the table for a second course or came over to ask how the food came out either.
See yall soon.
As always this place is great!! The food the service the ambiance they have it all.
It was a nice experience. We were seated immediately outside. But the service was a little bit slow, I believe that they were short on staff that day. Took a long time to receive our drinks. The food was ok, we ordered the polpettine as an appetizer, the butter ravioli and a pizza ( very good but I would prefer that the ingredients would come already together instead of me "assemble" it. The parking was easy and the environment was nice.
I have never been disappointed at Via Verdi. It is a 40 minute drive from my house and its worth it.
Food was exceptional. Portions were just right and prices very reasonable. The wine selection was good and very reasonably prices. Overall a very good experience as this was our first visit with more to come
Lovely service-lively outside w/ music, quiet inside and cool, white tablecloths, on corner 69th/ Biscayne, parking across street . Good food-enjoyed Branzino fish w/. vegetables. Fresh bread.
Always wonderful great staff, service and food , our favorite neighborhood restaurant. Owner always comes to say hello. Highly recommended this restaurant never been disappointed.
The food, the ambiance and the service are always good. The food is creative and consistent.
Wow, the food was excellent! It was a slow start we had to wait for our drinks and we really questioned the service. But, once the food came out we were definitely impressed. Kudos, to the owners they more than made up for the snafu. We will definitely be back. The pasta was exceptional. This is a gem in MiMo. GO!!
Food and service was excellent!? Will definitely be returning and already recommended to two friends.
It was OK, but not great.
