We always come to this restaurant for special occasions. Fantastic as always!
Best homemade pasta ever! Great service!
LeRoi and I love your wonderful staff and the amazing food :) xo victoria
Amazing Italian food as always. Love this restaurant gem.
My favorite go-to restaurant in the neighborhood. Feels like you're in Italy - somewhere in Venice or Florence. Food is just as good!
You can’t beat the food there. Service was a little wishy washy that night but usually pretty good.
This seems like a petty complaint but the tables are much too small for the size plates they use to serve the food. The plates were hanging off the table.
Very disappointed in this meal.
Main dish was a 4$45 sea bass with no flavor, tasteless.
From an Italian restaurant, the cappuccino was completely disappointing.
The staff was very professional and attentive.
Bottom line: front of house, very good. Kitchen, marginal at best.
Excellent food, service, experience. And everyone stop complaining about the fact that the restaurant like every other LA restaurant has to make do with exclusively outdoor service. Yes, you are not inside and there is street noise and traffic. It is not the restaurant's doing nor fault.
Good food but wine overpriced. When they went through wine list they were recommending a $258 bottle of wine (did not ask what price range I was looking for).
Very inflexible when ordering. They had a ravioli appetizer special. We tried to order one, they said both of us needed to order it. Asked if they could put in some garlic in a pasta dish and answer was no. When pasta arrived, asked for parmesan cheese and they said no. REALLY!!!.
My waiter Maximillian is the best and so do the bus boys.
Great place
The people there are serious about food. Their love for Italian cuisine is so obvious. Absolutely loved!
Food was wonderful. Complex yet light . Ambiance lovely. The side patio is a wonderful addition
The food was excellent. We are not from the area as I’m sure a lot of patrons are. If you are ok with spending $200+ and leaving sober and not stuffed I would absolutely recommend. While the food was very good I do feel like I’m paying more for where I am eating and not so much for what I am eating.
Tables outside right next to the road so lots of loud traffic noise and breathing car fumes unfortunately.
This was our first time dining out in six months because of COVID and we had a lovely time. The service was excellent! Our server had great recommendations for wine and everything we ate was delicious. There was tons of space between us and the next table, all the service staff wore face masks and face shields, and rather than give us menus they gave us a code to scan with our phones that brought up the menu. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and felt safe eating there. It was wonderful to get out for a night.
Due to Covid we were out on the patio which was fine but of course increases noise level and the ambiance could have been made a bit better with lighting that was on the table and bushes but not working. the wait staff was a bit snooty, their wine list was incredibly over priced for most of the under $100 a bottle compared to other restaurants, and although the food was good it was far from exceptional.
Food was amazing! Much better than Felix.
Overall the restaurant and service was good. But since we were outside there wasn't a nice ambiance. Also, I ordered a steak but it was not tender. It took real effort to cut it with a steak knife.
I always love the food except the crab cake- more breading than crab
Nice, romantic experience. Easy reservation and honored request for a quiet outdoor table.
Real Italian food 2 blocks from my place. And genuine and real service too.
Waiter was rather impatient and grumpy, though he softened a bit by the end of our meal. Still, we didn’t feel welcomed upon arrival or most of the evening, which was unfortunate as the food was outstanding. It was our first visit and not sure if we’ll return.
Amazing food and service
Professional, competent staff guided guests through the outside eating process (Covid). Tables were spaced properly. Umbrellas and heaters at the ready. The menu was as good as we had read in the reviews. The food - appetizers, main meal and dessert were all exceptional. Wine and Beer served.
Everything was wonderful! The food, the wine, our server was amazing. We were delighted to know that they all spoke Italian:).
Street dining is what it is.
If I am ever back in California, I will most definitely come back to eat! Everyone was on top of their service! So friendly, and the food was so good and fresh!!! It was beyond exceptional!!!!
The most delicate ravioli...so many delicious things in their menu. A place to treat yourself. Lovely staff
loved the food & service
Great spot for a date night. We dined here for Quarantine and they set everything up outside. It was very nice and quiet. The service is very attentive.
Amazing celebration of wine by glass
One word...AMAZING!!!
Great experience. Great bread. Decent food. Great vibe.
Best Italian in LA!
Always special! A place that makes your evening a special event. The food is wonderful, the service, warm and efficient. The veal chop is a treat but the sole is incredible.
This is an exceptional place. Such a romantic environment and welcoming staff. I’m sad I’ve never been there before. Now it is in my list of best spots in Santa Monica and whole LA
Fantastic meal and service!
No balsamic vinegar available. Skimpy portion of the langoustine served. Octopus was not super fresh.
Amazing food and service! The staff is so accommodating. One of the best restaurants in the LA area.
