One of our favorite restaurants on the west side. Food, service, ambiance make for a wonderful evening every time.
Amazing service. Delicious food. My girlfriend and I had a very romantic night here and she loved everything we ordered !
I was charged $48 per person for a ravioli tasting appetizer, even though I only ordered two portions to be shared among the four of us. Not wanting to embarrass my guests when the check arrived, I waited until two days later to return to Via Veneto and explain the situation, but they said that nothing could be done. Too bad. We’ve been dining there for years and have recommended the restaurant to many friends. Never again though. Addio Via Veneto.
Food is outstanding, may be best Italian in LA. You pay for it, however, expensive.
Amazing food and service.
Amazing and great service will be coming back soon !
Food was amazing! We cleaned out plates. Portion sizes are small . We went for Valentine’s Day and they really packed the place with tables. It was kind of disappointing and took away from the evening. However I would come back here again
Always very good, nice service. Two things today was that our ravioli sampler platter...that we always order
and is so good came out on cold plates, which makes the last raviolis cold by the time you eat them.
Our food also came out too fast, just took the last bite and then the next dish came out, like they wanted that next seating a bit too fast...considering we showed up 30 minutes before our reservation.
That said always enjoy going there. Next time I'll tell them to warm up the plates.
Excellent Italian food in a small well decorated restaurant. But, and it’s a big but - ridiculously expensive. With a modest bottle of wine you can expect to easily exceed $300 for dinner for two.
Excellent food, service and ambience. Pricey though. I will go here on special occasions, but too pricey to be local neighborhood hang.
I had not been there in Years, I have to say it was amazing food and ambience !!!
Great Place very romantic ;)
For years this restaurant has been our go-to for special occasions for date night as well as entertaining with family and friends. Always consistent with great service, from the greeting at the door, wait staff and of course the fabulous food. It’s the best of the best!
Overall pleasant dining experience. Will return. Small venue. Tiny table for 2. Engineering required to get plates on table. Hard to compete with neighboring conversations once restaurant fills up. (Not an issue for early bird diners) Interesting menu. Pricey but not outlandish for high quality but smallish entrees.
Delicious meal. Loved the seafood risotto.
This is a real Italian restaurant! We felt we were back in Italy! The service is great, the ambience wonderful and the food is excellent!! Via Veneto has an amazing wine menu as well. I highly recommend this restaurant.
The service was superb, ravioli ed buono, branzino yum, will recommend to friends.
Deliberate scam with the bill! Avoid these guys. They have good food and reasonable prices, mid $30 for a pasta, BUT they offer you specials at the table and then don’t mention the price! The pasta special was $100!! Don’t go near them.
My favorite Italian restaurant. I love it there.
The food was good however a bit pricey compared with other Italian restaurants in the near by vicinity. The menu was also seemed quite limited compared to other established eateries. The staff was friendly but the restaurant itself is quite small and (party of 5) couldn't help but feel cramped.
It was a Tuesday evening, and the place was half-full, so the noise level was very low.
Overall, it was outstanding! Word to the wise: the Tomahawk Steak can feed four people.
Always outstanding. Truly, you cannot go wrong with the food. Wine list is overly pricey though
Lobster ravioli was awesome
Always a treat to go there. Food outstanding, service perfect, fun to people watch. The veal chop is marvelous but this time I had the Dover sole and it couldn’t have been better. Not cheap but worth every penny.
Always Exceptional. Service. Food. Atmosphere. Food.
We took a friend to Via Veneto for his birthday to celebrate him. There were 2 vegetarians in the group. All of us were very pleased with how delicious the food was. Service was wonderful. Definitely come back.
Amazing food and excellent service
BeautifulEnvironment. Exquisite simple food. Perfect for the special occasion that we had created. Also perfect noise obvious, that is we were able to have conversations without yelling over the top of people. A perfect evening.
It was so great! They did not have room to seat us at our reservation time so they seated us in a private space upstairs !
Outstanding food, service and wine list.
Always a great experience.
Food was not especially good
It was a busy Friday night and service was good, efficient and thorough,
Starters were average and prepared and presented in a perfunctory manner
Main courses were poor lacking in flavour, flair or taste.
Pricing was far too high for such average fare.
Staff were friendly
Overall a poor cookery experience, very bad value and a very average dining event
exelente comiday atencion todo operfecto!!!!!!!!!!!!
Outstanding as always!
Via Veneto is the best Italian restaurant on the west side full stop. Everything is spectacular.
Best authentic Italian in LA!
Wonderful! Staff was so nice, food and wine - amazing!
We were transported to Italy for the evening! From start to finish we had a beautiful and delicious meal and service. Molte Gratze!
Very authentic, "real" Italian food -- excellent! Good wine list, with some reasonable half-bottles available as well. Definitely recommend!
Great experience. Genuine Italian cooking. Great service. We go to Via Veneto every time we come to Santa Monica.
