Always Exceptional. Service. Food. Atmosphere. Food.
We took a friend to Via Veneto for his birthday to celebrate him. There were 2 vegetarians in the group. All of us were very pleased with how delicious the food was. Service was wonderful. Definitely come back.
Amazing food and excellent service
BeautifulEnvironment. Exquisite simple food. Perfect for the special occasion that we had created. Also perfect noise obvious, that is we were able to have conversations without yelling over the top of people. A perfect evening.
Outstanding food, service and wine list.
Always a great experience.
Food was not especially good
It was a busy Friday night and service was good, efficient and thorough,
Starters were average and prepared and presented in a perfunctory manner
Main courses were poor lacking in flavour, flair or taste.
Pricing was far too high for such average fare.
Staff were friendly
Overall a poor cookery experience, very bad value and a very average dining event
exelente comiday atencion todo operfecto!!!!!!!!!!!!
Outstanding as always!
Via Veneto is the best Italian restaurant on the west side full stop. Everything is spectacular.
Best authentic Italian in LA!
Wonderful! Staff was so nice, food and wine - amazing!
We were transported to Italy for the evening! From start to finish we had a beautiful and delicious meal and service. Molte Gratze!
Very authentic, "real" Italian food -- excellent! Good wine list, with some reasonable half-bottles available as well. Definitely recommend!
Great experience. Genuine Italian cooking. Great service. We go to Via Veneto every time we come to Santa Monica.
We had a wonderful time at night.
their all foods are so great , and atmosphere is fit on date!
What a perfect dining experience! The service, the ambience, the FOOD! Amazing. As an 8-month resident of Marina del Rey, transplanted from DC, I have been trying Italian restaurants throughout the L.A. area. This is the fist one that genuinely hit the mark on all fronts. From the Crostini and decadent scallops special, to lobster ravioli and Cacio E Pepe and much more, the food simply exuded excellence. You literally savor each bite. It was nearly impossible to make food selections as the list of specials was so enticing. We did not try the soufflé but are planning our next reservation now as we must try additional dishes AND leave room for desert. I cannot sufficiently convey my appreciation of such fine food and service and what a wonderful dining experience this was.
This is still my favorite restaurant in the world. And I have traveled all over the world! Including Italy. The Italian food here is better than anything I experienced in Italy. The intimacy of the place, the divinity of the food (I am on my knees for the chef and his kitchen support team) and the sharp and so very attentive staff make an evening meal into a spiritual ceremony. I have brought so many people to this restaurant - and they go time and time again without me and spread the news about this quaint, elegant, piece of nirvana tucked into a sacred space on Main Street in Santa Monica.
Great, delicious Italian food! Every bit was awesome!
Best restaurant i. LA
The restaurant is beautiful, the service friendly, knowledgeable and professional, however the food did not match. The appetizers were the best part, although they are not worth the visit alone. The lobster ravioli was overcooked and mushy, and the veal chop woefully bland. Everything would have been improved with a little salt. When we requested some for the table, none is on it, we got a small bowl of huge, crunchy chrystals which was overpowering. We ended up leaving most of the chop.
Always a solid dinner experience.
Delicious ravioli and wonderful wine! Would definitely come back.
Absolutely wonderful experience like always. Love the servers.
Via Veneto is a special place. My husband and I went for a belated anniversary dinner and we had a wonderful night. It's got a great ambiance and the service is amazing, not to mention the food. We are fans of Italian food and this was not only authentic, but next level ( and I think just about everyone who works there is Italian). Also, Simone rocks!
Good food and pleasant service. Pricey. Very noisy and small tables.
Via Veneto is the best Italian restaurant on the Westside. It's only one of a handful of places in Los Angeles where I feel as if I'm eating a fine meal back in Rome, where I once lived.
New favorite restaurant. Seriously still dreaming about this meal. Truffle heaven.
Amazing everything about it was perfect. I always comeZ great for dates and authentic Italian. Best in Los Angeles
The food was outstanding, the waitress super nice and knowledgeable, the ambience great, the only draw back was we had to wait over 1/2 hour from our reservation time to be seated and there was no place to sit or get a drink in the mean time, seemed like they were a bit overwhelmed and maybe overbooked the night, and did nothing other than say sorry.
Slow service. I think they needed more servers. I asked specificity if my fish was cooked with lemon and olive oil only, our sever said yes. Then it comes with a tree trunk of rosemary inside, Which I’m allergic to. Everything else we ordered was delicious. Very expensive. Great ambiance.
Delicious. Wonderful ambiance and the staff above and beyond!
Amazing food, service and ambiance! Great for a romantic dinner!
Traditional Italian excellent consistent food
This restaurant is a gem. Great atmosphere, outstanding service and the food was incredible. Great for a date night, you won't be disappointed.
Foods amazing great ambience but loud!
For years this has remained our favorite restaurant in Los Angeles and it never fails to provide the most magical evening with perfect food and perfect service. Pricey but worth every penny. Lobster Pasta, Branzino, you name it. Perfection!
The food was generally great but we felt that we were taken advantage of. The waiter told us that “everybody orders the ravioli appetizer” so we did. It was 8 small raviolis (which were delicious) but he didn’t tell us they were $38 dollars each! My wife ordered the fish special at the waiters recommendation and it was $56. So when the bill came it was hundreds of dollars more then we expected. We paid the bill and gave a nice tip but We really felt like we were taken advantage of. Food was pretty good but we will never go back and would never recommend it to friends.
