Via Della Pace Ratings and Reviews
Crowded, noisy, fun and AWESOME, authentic Italian food at very reasonable prices. Myself, wife and daughter Had the gnocchi, eggplant parm and spaghetti alla matriana. Good portion sizes, great sauce, "every bite made me feel good" said my 18 year old Fordham freshman. We were in visiting from Detroit and expect to make this spot a regular every time we come back! Reservations available on Open Table make it easy.
I have been here numerous times and this is the first time eating downstairs - Always great food here and a great energy, friendly servers and a fun bar. Upstairs is always on the louder side if you want to get into serious conversations but downstairs was same great food and service and we could have a nice discussion with the meal and catch up!! Totally recommend
Amazing food, you can tell how fresh and high quality the ingredients are. The place is slightly small but has a great authentic ambience. The tiramisu is unreal, feels like you are eating an old school recipe from Veneto region. Highly recommended. Remember to bring cash as this is a cash only restaurant.
The restaurant was very cozy, our server was courteous and knowledgeable, and the food was excellent. It was a great experience and we would recommend this restaurant to anybody. We were looking for an authentic Italian experience that didn't just cater to tourist but was visited by local New Yorkers. We ordered the spagetti pomodoro, the spagetti carbonara, and the rigatoni and, as previously mentioned, was wonderful.
Very nice experience from start until finish. Excellent service and although it is cash only, then they have an inhouse ATM, so no trouble at all. Food was amazing and one the guests in our party recently been to Florence, Italy and had the same dish at a local restaurant, was rating this food even higher...speaks for itself. Worth another visit? Absolutely
Booked a birthday dinner for 16 guests last minute and they were able to accommodate us. The service was great, everyone was very so friendly. Some of our guests ran late and they didn't rush us to order which we're very thankful for. The restaurant was cozy and felt very authentic. Great neighborhood spot and would love to return to try other items!
I booked a table for 14 for a birthday dinner, and it could not have been better! They were super accommodating and attentive, and didn't seem to mind having such a large group. The service was great throughout the meal and the food was delicious -- everyone really loved their dishes. They also gave us a free shot of limoncello! All around the perfect birthday dinner. Would highly recommend!
This was a great find. I can see why they are rated so highly on TripAdvisor. The Gnocchi was like being in Italy again. The meat and cheese plate was a very good appetizer. We had a very good bottle of Sangiovese. Glad everyone got something so we could share. Oh but don't forget your cash. They say they don't take cards. That was fun pooling our money to get out of there.
We sat outside and had a great experience. Our server was from Rome and was very helpful with wine and food recommendations. We picked out a terrific Barolo to go with our meal that she suggested. Food was awesome and service was great too. They made sure we had a memorable evening and we can't wait to return!
