Everything was great
This restaurant was special in every way. The meats were delicious, the salad bar spectacular, the service flawless. I would highly recommend this restaurant. It is expensive, but worth it for a special occasion.
Amazing food, prompt and friendly service, great experience! Highly recommended! Our server Ricardo and Manager Ana were very attentive and took fantastic care of us.
Always a great place. The food is delicious and the service is good.
This is our go to place for special occasions. Try not to eat too much from the salad bar. You need to save room for the great meats.
Meat was not terrific. Ribeye was terrible. Salmon took till the end of a almost 1.5 he dinner to get.
Not happy with the price you pay and service. We should not have been priced at the upper scale cost.
I will never go to any other Brazilian place outside of Via Brazil. Their food is absolutely delicious and fresh. The service is Rate an A+ and is unmatched. The best part is that it’s consistent EVERY time I’ve been there. It is ideal for Private parties because their back room is roomy and nicely set up. The owner has met my needs at every level.
The meat was not as tender as the last time my family dined here with friends. The host was rude and she did not believe me when I told her that we had 10 in the party and they were all here. She stated that the table is being cleaned in the front and the other table was still not available. In the end she sat us in the back where I noticed upon entering that it was empty and already set up for 10 guests. Quite disappointed with the host! The servers are always polite and courteous.
Easter
As always, there is a problem with the check in ladies. I have been coming here for 4-5 years, or longer, and the check in / seating process is never good. They have no desire to switch your seat - take it or come back to the front and get in line AGAIN! If you can suffer through this, the waitstaff is great! But, I am always in a bad mood by the time I get seated.
And, don’t get me started on asking for black napkins ....... The ladies seating you act as if a black napkin is tabu. Sometimes they say they will get one for you, never to be seen again. But our waiter was able to get us black napkins as soon as we asked.
Everything was piping hot and delicious. Friendly staff. Very attentive. Will definitely go back.
A wonderful place to go if you want good food and a friendly staff. Even if you're a vegetarian, you could simply fill up with their salad bar and if you want, you can get add a nice piece of salmon for $6! There is a great selection of meat for whatever you feel like having. I highly recommend it for special occasions, as well as just for a night out.
Was a great choice to entertain family from out of town. The beef short ribs were our favorite. Good service, good food.
We were a party of six, service was outstanding and the food was great. I have been to many Brazilian Steak houses and this was one of the best.
Great food:) Great service:)
Been to many of these types of restaurants before, but this one offers much more of a variety than any of the others. Everything we tried was delicious! The service was wonderful and the restaurant had a great atmosphere.
Busy night. Valentine's Day. Staff was over committed and it showed in the lack of attention to detail we normally get when we go here. Any other day this place is awesome.
The salad bar was fresh and had a great variety. I enjoyed the lobster bisque soup however there was no lobster actually in it.
The meat was cooked perfectly and quite tasty. My wife and I ordered one of their specialty’s which was chicken hearts, but our order never came. The Tri tip and sirloin were my favorite cuts of meat.
They also had some fried mozzarella which was fantastic.
Overall, the food was really good and the experience was positive.
Very inviting & very polite employees & management. Food are amazing. Highly recommended.
My favorite Brazilian restaurant in Las Vegas (and this particular location), the service is always stellar and the meats are the best cuts in town. We love going here especially for the Sunday brunch as we're never disappointed and you won't be either!
Phenomenal menu, phenomenal service.
We will be including this in our date night lineup for sure. They offer an array of sauces to complement the meats, which we greatly enjoyed. Service was truly amazing.
The food as always was good. The selections were fewer than advertised on the menu. The sides took a long time to arrive in fact we were almost done with dinner when they arrived. But inspite of that I still recommend the restaurant for all occasions
Great food, friendly attentive service, great for special occasions.
My husband and I were celebrating our 1 year anniversary. This place was perfect. The staff was awesome. The food was excellent (minus the salad bar selections) and the overall experience was great. We will definitely make a reservation to come back!
Great experience again. The only quam I have is whenever I order a long island ice tea it is never done with the same consistantly. When i went mine looked closer to a jack and come compared to a long island.
Very fresh and good choices at the buffet. So much food to eat at 1130 on a Sunday. Service was good .
To preface this review, it might have been impacted because it was NYE evening when I dined. Service by our table attendant was not the best. He rarely stopped by the table to ensure we were satisfied or needed anything. When I gave him my card at the end of the meal he was gone almost 20 minutes. The food was fine, but nothing so special I feel the need to return anytime soon. The selections seemed limited. Guesstimating 4 beef, 2 chicken, 1 turkey and some kind of sausage. Other Brazilian steakhouses I've dined at have had much more. The frequency with which they brought the selections also were not timed well. All would come back to back but then none would come around for sometime. The salad bar selections were nice and fresh. Atmosphere was fine, but did get loud as the restaurant transitioned to a DJ for NYE second sitting. Was not possible to hold a conversation at the table once that music started.
We’ve taken our kids for brunch and dinner several times. We’ve always had a great meal and a good time.
Food was amazing! We waited at the bar for a few glasses of wine and our bartender Brandon provided excellent service. All the meats were so delicious and tasty! But, service at our table was okay. Our server Ricardo didn’t really follow through with us in the beginning. We waited quiet a while for our sauces and sides as we already had our meats. The hostess stand also lacked communication. My friend brought me a cake as a surprise but that note wasn’t relayed to our server. My friend had to ask about it in front of me which totally ruined the surprise! I’ll still be coming back, but I sure hope that next time our server will check up on us for the sides and sauces!
Hostess team is incredibly helpful and friendly when making reservations and greeting diners - easily the best part of the service experience for us.
We communicated a severe food allergy to several members of the team there and, despite inquiring and being assured there was no cause for concern, still had food with a high risk of cross-contamination brought to the table before another staff member realized and whisked it away.
Given this recent experience, I no longer recommend this to anyone with food allergies.
We went for Christmas and had a reservation at 730. We didn't get seated until about 815, and we were not the only people who had to wait for a reservation. Instead of giving tables to the people with reservations, they assigned each reservation a table and you sat when the previous people at the table were finished. Unfortunately this is an all you can eat place and there is no time limit so it took a long time. The hostesses were set up to fail because of the terrible system. The seemed completely overwhelmed and didn't know how to cope. But, they didn't help themselves out but giving patrons canned answers and lying about wait times. It was a bad situation for everyone. We finally got sat and the food was fine. A few dishes were good a couple others were just mediocre. But the biggest issue is we only received maybe 6 or 7 meats. They advertise 21, but they clearly were low on cooked food. It took a long time to get food served to us once we finally sat down and at one point there was nobody walking around with food anywhere in site. Then when food was nearby, many times the servers simply passed our table by. Finally they promised a $50 coupon for everyone. We got the coupon, but were little taken back when we read the fine print that you had to purchase 4 meals to use it and it expired February 2. Now we didn't go there because of the coupon, but that coupon was worthless to us. We don't go to places like that often, it is expensive. So visiting the restaurant within the next month would be out of the question even if we had a good experience. Also, it would be worthless for my wife and I to go by ourselves. We would have to find 2 other people who would be willing to pay full price in order to use the coupon. Overall it was a poor experience and I felt the service and food were not worth the price. I will not be eating here again for any special occasion with all the other places available in Las Vegas.
Left a review on Yelp that is lengthy. Poor management, poorly trained staff. I’m sure I’m not the only one that left negative reviews. They basically ruined Christmas evening for A LOT of people. Food was great (except the lobster bisque). Waitress was great. Hostesses were untrained and under prepared. They WAY over booked the restaurant, didn’t care. Manager wouldn’t show his face after countless people asked to see him. We will NOT return.
Great food, great service, my only complaint was that my reservation was for 7, and I didn’t get seated until 8. Probably due to the Christmas holiday and poorly managed staff. Though the staff themselves, were very professional and personable.
They were not prepared for the amount of people they made reservations for. I understand that it was a very busy night, but feel they didn’t have enough staff or overbooked. In addition, the food was average. I honestly wouldn’t recommend them over Texas De Brazil. Our service was slow and not worth the money we paid. I will say the meats were good for the most part not nothing to brag about. I will not be going back.
I had made a reservation thru open table for 5:45, the restaurant called me the next day saying there was a mistake; and could we come in at 5:30. We arrived a few minutes early, the hostess said they would call us “soon” to be seated....we grabbed a drink at the bar; and weren’t seated till 6:15!! Not sure why “they” would tell us to come in early, then make us wait 45 min to be seated...... a little irritating! Thank goodness the service and food was exceptional, this was our first time visiting this restaurant, and it was Christmas evening.
We love Via Brasil and have been here many times. But I would not necessarily return on holidays (Christmas Day). We had a reservation, but it was very crowded nevertheless, with people standing all over the place waiting for their table. Food quality seemed to go down a little. I think they were just swamped. The meat was either tough or way underdone, and the cuts were not always tender. They came around a lot with sweet chicken or chicken legs but not the higher quality cuts of meat such as lamb chops, which we had to ask for. Our water glasses were grungy to the touch-- I felt as if they were not even washed, ugh. We mentioned this to the manager, who apologized and replaced them immediately. (An empty glass ... then we had to wait for water to be put into them ... ). I have to say that the servers were all very polite and accommodating to our requests for food items.
However, this is not cool: The restaurant advertised a $50 gift card for every diner at the table. The reservation agent even mentioned it when confirming my reservation. WOW, I told her, how nice! What a perk! Well ... first of all we had to ask our server for it after we paid our bill. He gave us each coupons ... for $50 off a dinner for four, one coupon per table. That is not what I had expected, and very disappointing marketing on the part of Via Brasil. I wonder how many people thought as I did, that they were giving a $50 gift card (as they had said) with no restrictions.
A friend made our reservations for Christmas evening and thought the price was $30 per person so we were shocked to discover it was $50. Service was great but not near the selection of Texas de Brazil. Put some kale on my plate only to find that it was doused with lemon juice (I added ranch dressing before tasting it). Mashed potatoes and spinach were very small portions. The asparagus soup was less than tasty.
For the same price I would not hesitate to go to Texas de Brazil. Better selection and better tasting salad bar by far.
Can you really go wrong with all you can eat steak? I thought the selection was very nice and the meat was cooked very well, however I would probably choose a competitor (Texas de Brazil) over this restaurant based on the quality of the side dishes. I would say that the pichana and the bacon wrapped filet were the best choices here, and I also enjoyed the flank steak, garlic steak, and spare ribs! Overall it was still a really good experience. The cheesebread was really good too!
Great place.Great atmosphere. Food was terrific. Meat was so tender
Fantastic ambiance, food delicious, great service!
It was mediocre service tonight. Could have been more attentive.
