Food was blend and not exquisite. Our waiter was not only inattentive but also with rude attitude.

Worst experience. Worst service. Worst food. Worst attitude. Sat indoors in a small tight uncomfortable table squished against the glass. Waiter was in a terrible rush as he took our drink orders on the fly as he ran by. I asked for still water and was informed they only carry Evian. Odd choice for an Italian restaurant. I asked what sized bottle & he pointed to a table I could not see. Drinks came. Bread did not. Had to ask for it. Had to ask for olive oil. Appetizers took over 30 minutes. Dinner another hour. Tried to flag down the waiter several times to no avail. He ignored us completely. Saw 3 men in suits roaming the restaurant and tried to catch their attention to no avail. Watched them talking & laughing at a station near the kitchen. As we both waved our arms for attention our waiter finally acknowledged us. We asked for our dinner. His response "it's not my fault". It arrived. Salmon was average. The Paillard Di Pollo which was advertised as grilled chicken was swimming in brown grease. The taste was worse - sour, inedible. Flagged the waiter and told him. He took it away, no questions asked, no offers made. He asked me to tell the maitre d'. I told him to relay my message as I did not want to prolong the evening. Naturally, the maitre d' came over. I told him the chicken was swimming in brown grease and ...
That was as far as I got as he walked away mid-sentence.
This was our third attempt at this restaurant. Something always went wrong. This was the worst.
Three strikes and you're out.

Went here with my family over winter break. Everyone loved their entrees. The pasta options are excellent, as is the service.

Everything about Via Alloro is great. Amazing service, wonderful food. We’ve had the pastas, pizzas, steaks, venison, nothing was less than wonderful! I had a gluten free pizza and it was honestly the best I’ve ever had!

The food was good. However we were seated outside and although there were heaters it was quite cold. The prices are pretty high however the service was pretty terrible. Really abrupt and no care given or time spent looking after the table. They brought out soup to one of the party and served it when they were away from the table so the soup was just left there getting cold. They brought over the wrong wine (Sauvignon Blanc)and obviously hadn’t checked the bottle to check that it was correct (Riesling). We had to point it out it was the wrong one. Food was just plonked down in front of us and the bill was brought to us without us asking for it. Overall very disappointing and when spending that much money service is everything.

Our third visit to this restaurant separated by one year. Our waiter recognized us either by our reservation request for white truffles or talking over the wine list. He suggested a special rack of veal with porcinis and truffles and made sure that the serving was generous. Couldn’t ask for a better main course. Also found a reasonably priced 97 Barolo on the list. Very happy and enjoyed a nice conversation with the neighboring table

Outstanding italian comfort food in a casually elegant Beverly Hills setting. Very good value to quality ratio for the neighborhood. There is a reason Via Alloro has been a success for so many years; it delivers good quality at a good price. And the Social Hour Aperativo is the best in BH.

The only reason I didn't check everything was because some categories didn't apply to us. This is a restaurant that never disappoints! Love it!

We were especially impressed by the pasta options--way beyond the usual fare at Italian restaurants. All three of us got different pastas and each was excellent. The same was true of the vitello tonnato appetizer. The fried calamari was good, with a light batter. The menu had many choices in every category and the wine list was large (although a little on the high-priced side--typical of Beverly Hills) and we all said we'd like to return. Our biggest complaint was with the servers. They tried to take away our appetizer plates when we still had about 25% of our appetizers left. We told them we weren't done and a few minutes later they tried to take the appetizers away, again before we were done. It felt like they were rushing us and there was plenty of room in the restaurant. I think they had probably cooked the pasta dishes too soon and so were pushing us with the appetizers so they could serve the pastas hot. Still, it was a nice evening and we will return.

Always a great choice for Italian in Beverly Hills, Via Alloro never disappoints. Had some of my personal favourites today - Linguine Vongole, Minestrone Soup and Tanino’s Pizza. Dined outside which was the perfect temperature and had the usual fabulous service.

The service was utterly fantastic! And the food was delicious. I might have dreams about the steak going forward. Yum!!!! Their website said they had no parking, but alas, there is valet right at the door! Winning. ;-) I can’t get over how lovely the everyone from the hostess to the servers and even the manager were. I shall return!

The service was slow but we didn't mind because it was a beautiful night. I enjoyed my roasted potatoes and veggies but could not eat my Langostinos because they were tough and fishy and I did not want to get sick if they were spoiled. The waiter sent over the manager who asked if I wanted something else. I ordered a salad that was about $18. After the meal, the Langostinos and the salad were both on the final bill and the manager refused to remove them. In fact, he said the chef tasted my Langostinos and there was nothing wrong with them. A shame to end our evening that way because in spite of the bad dish, we would have still had a pleasant evening and would have left happy if they hadn't charged for the uneaten food. With the many wonderful restaurants to go to in LA, I certainly won't ever go back there. I like good food and good customer service and apparently, Via Alloro offered neither to us tonight.

Cigar club above the outdoor seating. Not horrible but enough to upset the experience as the smell of stoagies drifts down over your Dover sole.

6 of us had dinner at Via Alloro. My order was Paillard Di Pollo and it was ok. I think it should have better sauce becuz the thin chicken was dry. The rest of other meals and dessert ordered were agreeably good.

The main curse came before my salad, also the prices on line was les expensive then the menu at the restaurant, that did not felt good they should have honored the price that it showed on the internet , when I ask the waiter he sad that they have not updated the Internet. That is not my problem they should have honored the showing on line. Very disappointed.
