Busy but quick service for Valentine’s Day. Will go back!
It was a great choice for Valentine’s Day because you didn’t have to order from a special prix fixe menu.
So all of our favorites were available to us, like turkey meatballs in tomato sauce with spinach and mozzarella, chicken paillard and one of the best pizza margaritas in town!
The service could have been much better. The staff is not engaging at all. I don’t expect to b entertained, but they really need 2 lighten up 🙄. My friend & I also ordered Caesar salad & both of us thought it was FISHY tasting. The bad kind of Fishy
We had a vegetarian pizza & I’ve had better at many other restaurants. I eat out a lot. I travel, I’ve lived in Italy. U guys need to improve. Thank you
I went to Via Alloro with some friends and we ordered a few appetizers, mains, and dessert. Overall the food was okay, I've definitely had better Italian at other places. My pasta was quite bland and not very appeasing to the eye, but one dish I would recommend is the panna cotta, it was delicious! The restaurant itself is nice, but I still think you can find better Italian in LA!
This is just of the best on planet
We used to love this place but our last three experiences have been sub-par and our last visit was awful. We waited Fifty Minutes - Not kidding - for One Pizza. And when it arrived it was under-cooked! Then wee had to Ask our server to do something about the bill. It astounded us that nothing was offered in compensation for the awful experience, and that we had to Ask!
Pretty expensive for what you get and not many choices...service left something to be desired...requested a bit more red sauce for food that didn't come till meal was over...disappointing
Food is good, hosts are great, my linguine with claims were not very juicy. Overall not bad.
I saw this place online with so many celebrities eating here and the pictures of the food looked super yummy. It was my birthday and they didn’t even recognize it even after we told them. The food was over cooked. We ordered the calamari twice and it was like rubber. My pasta was under cooked and hard. I had to move the hard pasta to the side of my plate. I showed the waiter and said I’ll let the cook know. They offered to bring out another plate but at that point I had eaten around the hard pasta and we were over sending food back. They didn’t even come anything to make up for this inconvenience. We won’t be coming back here again. We had wanted to go to IL PASTIO across the street because they have the best pasta. Sad we didn’t go there instead.
Excellent food and great service. Relaxing atmosphere. The live piano music is a nice touch.
Good food, interesting and varied menu, good service -- a nice pre-Wallis dinner!
I love this place! The food is so tasty and the service is always great. I always try to stop by when I’m in town… Thanks for taking great care of us!
The best Italian restaurant in Los Angeles !!!!
Super service. If conversation desired inside is best w lots of room between tables. Great fish. Pizza excellent starter
One of our favorite restaurants in Beverly Hills, as we like the ambiance of sitting on the patio and the food is consistently good. Inside can tend to be noisy and high energy which is what some people like. The heater lamps make it very comfortable outside even in the winter. Our waiter was friendly, attentive but not hovering, and didn't rush us on a busy New Year's Eve evening. He even waived the corkage fee on the bottle of wine we brought! My chilean sea bass was very good as was my husban's entree, grilled salmon. The fried calamari appetizer was very good as well. Not overly deep fried as we have had in other restaurants. Just perfect! We contiue to return to Via Alloro for it's consistently good food and pleasant atmosphere. I highly recommend it!
Amazing price point and great food! Service was attentive and it was NYE and busy!
Tried and True...can always guarantee a great meal and great service!
Great food. Busy restaurant. Good service.
The hostess needs to be replaced with someone who actually enjoys working there. She had a bad attitude when I asked her to change my table as we were sitting right by the door with cold wind coming in every 2 minutes when the door to the patio had to be opened up. There were more tables available but she refused to accommodate us. We were sitting in our big jackets while dining.
The server and food was exceptional and great per usual.
The best Italian food outside Italy; probably better!
It was wonderful !! Would highly recommend 👌🏼
The food is incredible and the service is impeccable
Wonderful mushroom risotto. Great service.
We were seated out on the back side patio. It seems that the area back there is not well serviced. Did not feel well attended to.
The only thing wrong and it is huge if you are a non-smoker. One can smell cigar smoke coming from the cigar lounge upstairs from the restaurant if you are not seated inside. It would be nice if the hostess or host let us know before we were seated that one may smell the smoke.
Great restaurant, friendly service, good food and nice staff. We go there a lot.
Always my favorite lunch spot in Bev Hills!
We enjoyed a wonderful meal, start to finish! Or shall I say appetizers to dessert! The warm, fresh bread and pungently delicious EVOO were memorable too. Try the chocolate pear tart! Divine! Cannot wait to come again!
A special thanks to Paolo who has always taken care of us when we dine here. A shout out to chef for preparing consistent flavor and incredible dishes on such a busy evening.
Ambiance and food is magnificent!!!!!!! The hostesses, servers, a management, and restaurant are the BEST!!!
We are regular customers and always make reservations days in advance. Last night when we got there,
We were told that there was a large party and we could only sit on the patio, or at a noisy table by the front door. Since it was a busy Saturday in Beverly Hills we chose the patio, and made the best of it.
The food there is fabulous and the staff courteous, but I will look for other restaurants in the future—-I don’t feel we were treated respectfully.
Fabulous food and service
Via Alloro serves outstanding italian food...very authentic, rich with flavor, and a large menu to choose from...they have great appetizers like grilled Octopus, fried Zucchini blossoms and fresh Burrata with grilled bread...lots of great pasta dishes, salads and meat as well
Love this authentic restaurant smack in the middle of Beverly Hills with a great wines by the glass menu as well as some of the most creative dishes for an Italian place I have seen in Los Angeles. Only thing they did wrong was not sing or bring a dessert for the Anniversary despite the fact that I booked this in the notes ahead of time with Open Table for Via Alloro.
Very good restaurant but Paul, our waiter will be the reason we return. Beyond knowledgeable, courteous and helpful.
Fabulous restaurant...the food was extraordinary and the staff was wonderful. I felt like I was in Italy...the food was that good!
Had a great time late lunch. Will return. We had scallops and spicy tuna. Both went down well for a lunch with a couple of glasses of Negronis. Well presented.
