Via45 is a rustic Italian eatery.
The dining room is warm and inviting, with its Tuscan country feel and a European-style common table for people to gather.
The plates are made "in the moment", using fresh ingredients from local markets when available.
The chefs claudette and lauren write a suggested menu for the evening. Guests can recreate their dish to accommodate personal preferences and dietary needs.
The menu allows for gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan choices.

Great food, great service, very attentive to all food allergies and gluten free
Wonderful, satisfying meals!!!! Obviously cooked with care and flair. Beautifully balanced seasonings. Friendly and helpful service.
Very good place to go. Atmosphere was good. Nice electic decor. Just don t to BYOBB.
This was one of the better restaurants I’ve eaten at in red bank. Hard to get a reservation but SO worth the wait!! The food is outstanding. A bit pricey but worth every penny. I can’t wait to go back again
The food is delicious and my experiences are consistently wonderful. Each and every time I dine here, the chefs "wow" me with inspiring new dishes. Always fresh and awesome.

Via 45 is my current favorite restaurant in Red Bank, where there are many good options. This was my 3rd visit, and I continue to be impressed. The food is excellent, service is as well, I love that the menu changes daily with unique offerings. My only complaint is that it's so good, it's difficult to get a reservation! I guess that's a good complaint.
We love this restaurant. The food is cooked to order and is always the highest quality and taste. You feel right at home and the atmosphere is very homey.
We had the pork and chicken Milanese. Both were so tender and delicious! The deconstructed tiramisu was awesome!
We highly recommend anything they make. You will not be disappointed!!
Service was great. Food not good.
The best food in Red Bank and one of the best restaurants in the state! This particular visit was for our 2nd Mother's Day Lunch at Via 45. We had a table of 7 and everyone loved their food. The Service is excellent and also accommodating for our lactose intolerant son.
The food was amazing, as always! If you want local produce, daily menu changes, and terrific service, look no further than Via 45! The chefs create tasty, complex dishes that delight the palate!
Excellent meal. I had the apricot salmon with a side of kale, zucchini and rice which was great. Alan had the cod piccata.
We had fried calamari as an appetizer and for dessert we had their cheesecake. Everything tasted delicious. We always enjoy Via 45 which appears to be consistent as a great go to place!
First time dining here, would definitely return. Very good meal, attentive staff.
I have been to this restaurant many times. Excellent service and food. Highly recommend.
From the introductory greeting to the special service afforded, to the enjoyment of a wonderful meal, this restaurant combines all ingredients of a dining experience. We had been reunited through a chance encounter with Claudette who previously catered our wedding ten years ago. She has certainly hit her stride with this successful venture as regulars and new clients enjoy the discovery of her cooking. It took us this long to rekindle a friendship that won't be forgotten.
The food is fantastic and the service was outstanding!
It was a long time coming but definitely worth the wait. Very accommodating to people with special diets. Food was delicious!
Looking for more unique or speciality menu options. Food was good....I could make at home
Another great meal at this fabulous restaurant. For starters we had mussels with sausage in cream sherry sauce and grilled romaine blue cheese salad, both wonderful. Mains were baked trout and grilled swordfish both with chef’s choice vegetables, both were world class. Looking forward to next visit...
Our waitress was not very good and our food was not up to snuff. Maybe we hit an off night
Great for dates, family dinners, or anything!
Waitress rushed us ...we had to ask for bread When it arrived there was basically a crumb for each of us to eat and we had to ask for more which again took ample time!
Waitstaff was very attentive, food was amazing. Overall a great experience.
There wasn't much of a selection. I ordered a fish special and it was pretty dry as were the potatoes I ordered with the meal.
My husband and I shared a salad and clams. Both came within seconds of each other. As we received the salad first, we felt rushed to eat it so the clams wouldn't get cold.
I am glad we went because we had been curious about the restaurant. I don't think we would go back.
The entire staff is always warm, welcoming and eager to please!
Always a great dinner experience!
Tough place to get reservations but worth the effort. The service was very good and the menu was short but interesting and changes daily. The place is small maybe 15~18 tables and can get a little noisy at times but that's the case with most of the Red Bank restaurants. My fish was very good as was the dessert. The appetizer ( calamari was just average ).
Service and atmosphere were great. Food was good but I thought did not live up to the hype. Overwhelming flavors of citrus in nearly everything. Again still good just not what I was expecting.
Always great food with a menu that changes daily. Service is friendly and great. A real gem.
Everything was excellent!!
Took my wife there for her birthday and as always everything was delicious the closest thing to a home cooked meal you can get Via 45 five you won’t be disappointed
We love Via 45. It's my favorite restaurant and the food never disappoints. The service is wonderful and the atmosphere is cozy and charming. It is always a treat to come here!
Always an amazing experience. The pride in the quality of both food and service is evident from the moment you walk in the door. Can’t wait to get back!
Pleasantly surprised how quaint this place was.. Anthony the waiter very nice and helpful. Had the veal parm and it was very big and tasty. Wife and friend both had the eggplant parm and stated that it was very good also. Other friend had the pork chop and he loved it. Anthony stated that was the house special. Unique place as owners change the menu daily. BYOB will definitely to back.
Outstanding food and service! Very genuine experience, will definitely be returning.
Little restaurant without glitz and what a great and surprising menu...Italian but NOT Italian in the way we've become accustomed to. Great flavors, great takes on so many fresh and fabulous dishes. They have gluten free, vegetarian, and other options. My wife is allergic to shellfish and they make meals for people w/ allergies in separate pans.
But better than just fabulous options, the food was tremendous! What a fun meal and I ate every bite. Fish, seafood, beef....whatever your desires....they have. It's a limited menu which means everything is fresh but unlike other places with limited choices in a limited menu, they had 4 fish choices, and multiple other choices. One word sums it up: WOW.
Don't miss this gem of a restaurant.
From what I had heard, this is not the place to go and expect to be in and out in an hour. So I expected a rather leisurely pace. And after waiting 2 weeks for a reservation, I was excited to enjoy a special meal.
But it would have been nice to have been greeted before 15 minutes lapsed, and to not have to ask (twice) to have our wine opened. Generally speaking, people with a glass of wine in front of them tend to be a little more patient!!
Food took 55 minutes to arrive (again, not unexpected, as everything is made to order). Very unhappy . The Pork Milanese special was overcooked, dry and tough, and extremely salted. Because the arugla salad was overdressed the pork swam in a puddle of vinegar, accentuating the tart saltiness. My companions eggplant and chicken parmesan combo was lackluster as well. Both dishes lacked the freshness of ingredients or mastery of culinary skills that are promoted by the restaurant. I expect more for $30/ entree.
I really wanted to like this restaurant more.
Exquisite cuisine, wonderfully tasty, perfectly prepared. Service was very good although having bread brought when we sat down would have been nicer. Also would have appreciated being offered gluten free bread given that I noted the preference on our reservation. these are nits though. do not miss Via 45. BYOB.
Love this restaurant.
Always a delightful dining event with a varied/creative menu. Service staff is always on top of every little detail. Appreciate the fact the owners and the kitchen staff are always approachable.
