Love this restaurant.
Always a delightful dining event with a varied/creative menu. Service staff is always on top of every little detail. Appreciate the fact the owners and the kitchen staff are always approachable.
We went to Via 45 on a Sunday at 5PM, after hearing great things abut it. We were a table of 4 and the restaurant was about 3/4 full. We all enjoy our meals and apps very much. Dessert was just ok. Service was the biggest issue we had, we didn't mind waiting for our meals as everything is made to order and was delicious, however we did have issues with people cleaning our table/dishes and even getting new forks and knives. Great food, need to improve on the service.
Via 45 was recommended to me by my SIL and I couldn't wait to try it. I saw it had great reviews but I wish I had seen the ones about it not being a place for kids. We have a 6 and 7 year old. There is no kid's menu but I called and was told they could prepare something at our request. I asked about chicken parm and was told yes they could make it. Based on that I confirmed the reservation. My husband and I went with our kids and my mother early last Saturday evening . The ambiance was very cozy but it went downhill from there. The one appetizer we ordered, calamari, took 45 minutes to arrive and was fresh but half the plate was tentacles which we don't like. When I tried to order chicken parm for our son I was told it wasn't available but they have chicken fingers. He doesn't like those so he ordered from the menu. Time passed and our kids kept asking us when their food would come. Nearly an hour after ordering, we asked and were told it was a busy night. Isn't it always busy there? I asked the waitress if she would at least bring out my other son's bread with mozzarella which she did, finally. When an hour and 10 minutes had passed, I asked again about our meals. I was told everything is prepared fresh and the roasted chicken I ordered can take 35 minutes. But we were well beyond 35 minutes. There were no apologies, just defensive employees. Finally after an hour and 20 minutes, our meals arrived. The food was good, but nothing fantastic, and my meal wasn't very filling. I was hungry by time I got home and that never happens. Our son who wanted the chicken parm didn't like his meal and asked for food as soon as we got home. My mom's fish picatta had about 3 capers in it and she was disappointed with her vegetables. What a disappointment in every way. We don't know what all the fuss is about. My husband and I had planned to go to there with another couple at the end of April but we'll be going elsewhere.
Continues to be one of our favorite restraurants, Always great food prepared exceptionally well. Looking forward to our next future visit......
Fantastic meal. Service was perfect, I think our waiters name was Michael, I apologize if this is not correct. We started with the meat & cheese platter appetizer which was excellent. This appetizer included some of the best and biggest red grapes we ever tasted! Veal Parmesan and Eggplant Ravioli were amazing. Bring a big appetite for the Veal Parmesan dish because it is huge. Overall a wonderful dinner. Look forward to coming back to Via 45 soon.
Dinner was fabulous...everything is prepared to order!!! Will definitely go back!
Excellent food, great service.
Everything was great. The gluten-free options are most impressive not to mention very tasty.
Excellent. Food was amazing and fresh , service was good
Superb as usual. Best eggplant Parmesan I have ever had but portion too big
Celebrating my lovely wife's birthday we invited our son and daughter to join us for dinner. My wife and I enjoyed the delicious food and lovely ambience and friendly service as we had expected. Our children were blown away, as we were on our first experience, how crazy good their dining experience turned out. Turns out the old folks weren't exaggerating. They're hooked. Wonderful experience had by all.
Always excellent food and service. Best restaurant in Monmouth County.
Food was amazing and plentiful. Service great. Loved it.
Just love Via 45. Just wish it wasn’t so hard to get reservations.
We have been to Via 45 before and it is always a wonderful night. The service is on point and the food is delicious. I had the pork chop and it was so juicy and tender. Cannot wait to go back
Food and service were both equally amazing!! I like that the menu changes daily. I’m going to make an effort to eat there monthly
Food and service was wonderful! Will definitely return!!
Excellent from the moment you walk in and are greeted by the hostess with a smile and then leave...and all moments in between....perfect place for any occasion.
My very favorite place to dine in Red Bank
Via 45 rocks !! We have been going there for a approx 5 years & its the best restaurant
in Red Bank in my opinion. Food is always delicious & the service is awesome.

The food was fantastic, so fresh. Service was great
I took my wife to Via45 for her birthday. The food was amazing. It was the best meal I ever had. Our waitress, Erin, was awesome. I will definitely be coming back to Via45.
Delicious food and great service. Highly recommended. One of my favorite places!
There is a reason why it is difficult to get a reservation at Via 45. The food is wonderful, and the cozy atmosphere makes you feel like you are dining at someone's house. The menu changes weekly. My husband and I loved our entrees. He had the veal chop parm, and I had eggplant parm. Although it took a while before our dinner came out, it was worth the wait. Everything was fresh and delicious! If you have never been to Via 45 you should definitely make the trip--just know that you might have to wait a month or two.
Amazing gluten free choices - the food was so fresh and simply prepared to showcase the flavors. Best eggplant Parmesan I’ve ever had that’s not my grandmothers and it was gluten free. Even have homemade gf bread at the beginning of the meal. Come hungry!
The appetizer that we shared was the calamari which is always delicious. My entre was grilled salmon with various sauteed veggies which was perfectly prepared and enjoyable. He had chicken parm with ziti. He said it was good but the chicken was very thick and he didn't have room for the ziti so I ate it. The ziti tasted very good. We shared a nut laden dessert which tasted creamy but light. After that, we both happily rolled out of Via 45!
Always excellent!!! Have never been disappointed. Takes a while to get a reservation, so reserve in advance. But it is worth the wait!!
One of the finest eateries in Red Bank. No competition from the many other restaurants.
Amazing every time! Everything is always fresh! Love it!
Great food. Love the bread. They are very accommodating. Definitely a must try if In the area.
Suggested by family member; did not disappoint. Was going to show ar Count Basie so timing was important. Wonderful dining experience and sensitive to food allergies. Back at next opportunity...
I absolutely love this place. I can’t remember the last time I went to a restaurant and cleared every plate in front of me. Delicious!!!
Exceptional food. Attentive, friendly service. Time between courses allowed us to enjoy and relax into our meal. Would highly recommend for a special occasion.
Nothing special. Service very slow. Best part of dinner was the wine .. which I brought.
I love the food and menu is always accommodating to allergies and likes and dislikes. Ive been for celebrating Breast Cancer and having Great Check ups!!!!
Wonderful vibe and excellent food. A delight to dine - chef cooks everything to order and it's BYOB. Never disappoints!
Always great food. Never disappointed at this restaurant.
