This was one of the best meals I have ever had. It was a pure pleasure from start to finish. I had no idea what to expect with the tasting menu. I could not believe how many items we were able to try over 2 and a half hours. The staff was incredibly attentive and knowledgeable. It is one of the costliest meals I have ever had, but it is worth it. Come prepared with an open mind to experience new things.
Food was absolutely amazing. It is expensive but they are very upfront about the price. Service was attentive and the entire experience was fantastic. With regard to our menu they created a different menu for both of us so we could share and have a full taste of the menu
Our visit to Vetri was a Christmas gift to my kids who enjoy good food and wine. Our experience was unparalleled. The food and wine pairings were amazing, outstanding all and the staff were warm, friendly, and treated us like old friends. The evening was a huge success. We will do it again as soon as we can.
Service was extremely slow with long waits in between courses - it took us over 2.5 hours to finish the meal. Also, the food had one great course but about 7 more that were either mediocre or straight up strange and quite unappetizing. The value of the meal, for $155 a person, is not at all worth it. Do not waste your time nor your money eating here. The ambience was nice, but the poor food, service, and long wait times make me regret spending my money and my evening here. You could order a pizza and have a 100x better experience sitting at home than coming to Vetri.
The service was impeccable and the staff was lovely. However, the food was incredibly bland and disappointing. For the price of this meal, I was really disappointed to walk away after being served countless dishes and to not be able to say I honestly enjoyed just one. The staff speak of the chef as if he is the king. I wish they had been right.
I had wanted to dine here for a long time and finally got the opportunity. Vetri did not disappoint. Everything is catered to the individual tastes. Service is excellent. The fact that the restaurant is small and intimate allows for very personalized service.
Lunch is fairly new to Vetri. We booked a Friday lunch for my wife’s birthday. The menu is fixed price lunch. We choose the wine pairing.
Vetri Service is impeccable. We arrived dressed casually which is acceptable. We each had minor food allegergies which they were both attentive to and able to manage. Each wine and food course was an experience. The flavors creative by the wine pairing was an exception experience and learning process. We strongly recommend lunch as a an amazing experience.
Fine dining for lunch at Vetri. The snack course started the meal and it was a harbinger of the flavor full meal to follow. A roasted pear, fennel and duck pate set high expectations. The four course meal was enhanced by wine pairings..... a little pricey for the selections offered, but clearly an upgrade to the dining experience. Only two notes of disappointment. First, the persimmon salad lacked dimension and textural contrast. It needed an element of vegetable, seed or nut to counter the sweet fruit. Unfortunately, a more serious disappointment was the temperature of the second/main course. The bronzino and pork chop were both served warm and not piping hot as anticipated. We notified the wait staff of the concern but did not opt to interrupt the flow of the meal.
Vetri was an amazing food experience! So many courses they just kept coming, everything was amazing! Although I do think that 3 bread courses was too many, bread was great but just too much. We opted to have the be chef select all of our courses, most courses we both received something different, it was a great way to sample most of what Vetri was offering that night.
Overall it was an amazing food experience!

Marc Vetri is an absolute mastermind and he is surrounded by a fantastic + charismatic team. The food was so impeccable it made me cry - never has food brought my palette on a journey like the night I dined at Vetri.
Thank you to the Vetri team for such a magical experience and quite honestly one I will never forget.
My girlfriend and I️ celebrated our second anniversary here. The food was incredible. The service was top notch. Monday BYOB was a huge plus. Mr Vetri himself was in the room when we were leaving and he got up to shake our hands, say thanks and say happy anniversary. We will be back for the next tasting as the November menu was great. Swiss char gnocchi and almond tortellini pasta yum! From the beginning to the end there is too much to say but it is worth every penny.
What a great experience! My husband and I wanted to celebrate our marriage, somewhere we've never been. We expanded our palettes in the best way possible. Personally, I would never try wild boar, goat , or sweetbreads, but I trusted that Vetri would not disappoint. Everything was delicious! My husband and I will be back next year!
The kitchen is very talented and frequently creative, but what you are presented with at Vetri is not a "tasting" menu. The sheer volume of food and the size of the portions completely overwhelmed us. We were done at the half-way point. Tasting menus (as opposed to "set" or "fixed price" versions) should feature just that -- a small taste of each item/dish, a sampling if you will. We've experienced true tasting menus that included as many as 40+ items yet we were able to finish the meal, not as happened here. In our experience, most tasting menus are in the 10-12 range with each item being a couple of bites ( tastes). So, if it's modern Italian cuisine and volume that you seek, Vetri is your place.
Almost a perfect dining experience. Vetri is a Philadelphia legend I finally had the chance to experience... and what an experience it was. From the minute we were greeted the front of house staff was amazing. They were extremely accommodating, and friendly. The somm was awesome! Great, easy to understand tasting notes with a number of different wines to try was exactly what we needed. The meal was tailored to our tastes and they did a stellar job providing us each with dishes that we would like. Standouts: proscuitto cotto, swiss chard gnudi, almond and truffle tortellini, pistachio dessert, guinea hen. Remarks: wild boar ragu was a bit over seasoned, balsamic macaron was a bit too vinegary. Amazing meal! Can not wait to go again.
We decided to go to Vetri fort our first wedding anniversary before we were even married. It didn't disappoint. We both left our meal entirely in the hands of the kitchen, and the meal had a beautiful flow. The price is steep, but we'll worth it for a special occasion.
The food, the service and the ambiance are exquisite. Other restaurants with tasting menus can dazzle you with inventiveness and presentation. And the same is true at Vetri, except that the number of different meals brought to the table far exceeded any other restaurant's. 5 different pastas (all very tasty), steak and goat, appetizers and munchies to start, and a vermouth concoction that was just right. And the service staff perfectly attentive, never intrusive but always there when needed. And the hostess matched wines with food effectively, and understood that sometimes a quarter glass was just right, so that you can have many tastes without intoxication. It was an anniversary dinner that was flawless.
