Located inside the sunny glass-topped Inn atrium, the newly-renovated Versailles Restaurant, features an internationally-inspired a la carte menu.

An expansive bar spans the length of the atrium and offers craft cocktails, beer, wine and a limited menu.

Weekend afternoons provide the perfect opportunity to unwind with a cup of tea and a selection of delectable treats during our traditional Afternoon Tea held in the Versailles Restaurant.

The Versailles Tea experience includes a variety of delicious teas accompanied by a selection of tea sandwiches, scones, pastries and sweets.

Tea is served from 2pm-4pm by reservation only Wednesday through Sunday starting February 22, 2020. Reservations must be made at least 24 hours in advance.

Wonderful Thanksgiving buffet today. Why cook for 2 when you come to Chateau Elan ? Such great variety and everything is top quality. Traditional turkey, ham and fixings …. Crab legs and shrimp , not super crowded. Relaxing and classy !

This is a lovely environment for a luncheon with friends. It is very quiet and the staff is attentive and the food was excellent. The only downside is that it is far more expensive than expected.

Our wait staff was pleasant and nice and ambience was good but that was the only good part of dining here. Food was cold. Meat balls tasted old and cold and wait staff took it back to kitchen upon complaint and upon return they were still cold. The bread used for bruschetta was soggy and cheese was not good quality. Mushroom ravioli and onion soup were okay but nothing out of the world. Salad was like grocery store bought salad packet. They charge premium price but use cheap ingredients and condiments. Will not return!

The food was excellent. I had the special, which was sea bass. It was served with spinach and a crispy cornmeal cake (like cornbread dressing). My husband had the mushroom ravioli, which he really enjoyed. I did not like the bread, which was a gummy white bread, slightly sweet. It was like white bread that has been warmed either in the microwave or in foil in the oven. I prefer multigrain rolls. Dessert was cream broulet, which was very good. The server was very friendly and pleasant. She tried to be attentive but was too busy, as the restaurant was full. After giving us the dessert menu, we didn't see her for quite a while, but another waiter brought the cream broulet, complementary, because it was a birthday celebration. The noise level was much louder than usual. I prefer a more tranquil setting. The decor is nice, but I still miss the former decor, which was like being in a lovely garden.

I have an egg allergy and made sure they were aware. The first thing they bring out is bread with egg! Steak was just ok, I make better. For dessert I asked for egg free options and he still brought out a regular menu with eggs.

The service was terrible. We sat for ten minutes before I finally asked a different table’s waitress if we could get some water and order some drinks. She took our drink and app order and said our server would be right with us. The apps came and our server still had not come by once. My app I ordered was soup but it came without a spoon so I had to wait another ten minutes for our actual server to come by so I could ask for one. She took our entree order, our drinks we ordered had still not come. The menu was enticing, but the food was terrible. We won’t be back.

We were so excited to eat here. Beautiful restaurant after wine tasting with ear friends. Our server was amazing (Vanna) and the table was beautiful. The food was just not up to par. Everything was cold. The pasta taste was good (my friends ordered) but cold. I ordered scallops and they probably weren’t cooked all the way and they were giant. Just not good flavor. The salmon felt like it had sand in it. And the short ribs weren’t special. Hate to give a bad review because service and setting were wonderful.

My husband and I stayed a night this past September as I got a fantastic rate from Groupon to evaluate the quality of Chateau Elon. I thought it was charming. However, if I’m being honest it was just ok. Yes, the restaurants were nice. The food was good not great. The service was very good but not excellent. We have been to many hotels and honestly it was overpriced and underwhelming. I found myself comparing it to the Gaylord in Tennesse and the Hotel at Callaway Gardens. Both are close in price to the regular rate at Chateau Elon and both give you more bang for you buck with more to do. Everything felt way overpriced for the experience in general. I wouldn’t stay here again. Maybe go for a day trip but quite honestly there are better ways to spend your money. The wines were nice but also can find them at the local Kroger. I wish my review was more flattering. I’ve heard mostly good things about CE but one other person said the same things I did.
