We could not have had better service! The food was excellent and the ambience so nice as we were celebrating my husbands 60th bday. The Long Island iced teas, a true on, no corners were cut on the alcohol in it. Coffee and dessert yummy too!

The place was full by 7:00 P.M. but we had a reservation and that worked out very well and sat at a booth right away. I had my usual dish and it was excellent. However, my friend's pizza was partially burnt, affecting two slices. That lower level of quality is a first for me after dining there several times. The server appeared exhausted and drained, but he did his job well we left a 20% tip anyway.

We were a party of 7 for a Birthday luncheon. The ambience was great, food tasty…My only concern is there was only one waitress trying to handle the lunch crowd. We had to wait for bread etc. Normally the service is great.

I haven’t been to Verona’s in 5 or more years. The food is still great!! But the lack of service is a blaring disconnect in the experience. Upon showing up i wasn’t Greeted just left standing. Though the host was standing there socializing with a coworker. When she finished her response was “name?” Once at our table i waited 15 min to be greeted though our waiter helped other people around me? When i flagged him down and asked for a wine list he left and didn’t return, flagged him down again and ordered wine, 5 min later he returned stating they were out of that wine. Picked another…. You guessed it they were out of that one too. He finally took our order after we asked if there were specials. We waited quite awhile for a Caesar salad and clam chowder but they were very good. Halfway through our waiter returned to ask us our order again as he stated i didn’t write it down and i forgot….. This is a beautiful restaurant with really great food but what a frustrating experience, our waiter had 3 tables but made us feel like we were an imposition the entire time. Never poured our wine, had to ask for bread, had to ask for more water, never checked on us and had to request a dessert menu. I wouldn’t hesitate to return for the food but the experience was so frustrating I’d have to muster the energy to spend another Saturday night imposing on staff who clearly don’t belong in a fine dining establishment or honestly even Olive Garden.

Very busy place so quite loud in the small dining room, hard to enjoy conversation. Serving staff running around like crazy because of busyness of restaurant, maybe an extra hand or two would be helpful to ensure all tables managed efficiently. Food tasted good but pasta course was cold. Didn’t stay for dessert.

Absolute garbage meal. SISCO frozen and fried chicken cutlets covered with Chef Boyardee looking and tasting sauce was the “chicken parmesean.” Tasted like a salt bomb covered in aluminum. The servers had the good sense to have the manager remove it from the tab. Such a waste of a beautiful restaurant. I never leave bad reviews but this was unspeakably horrendous and they charge like they’re serving gourmet, farm to table cuisine. Also, the noise level was horrific.

There were five of us… Everyone’s lunch was good except mine which I had calamari and it was so tough I could only eat a few bites. I did tell the waitress. We were told the special was $23 a plate and we got charged $27 a plate. This was pointed out to our waitress and she did correct that. We really enjoy this restaurant, however calamari is not something we will never order again as each time it has always been tough… We continue to order hopeing it will get better with our suggestions. But no such luck

Maybe it was an off night but the service was really slow. I think the Filet was actually a ribeye and the pizza had more cheese than I had ever seen. On a good note the scallops were fantastic. Once again maybe an off night.

Came for an anniversary dinner and was pleasantly surprised. From the bread basket (small fee) and the delish and sweet balsamic vinegar, delish. We truly loved the Mista salad and THE MINESTRONE SOUP 🤤. So good. I could just eat that with the bread! My spouse got the organic half chicken and orange glaze and spice, I had the delish Pappardelle short rib pasta, they high did not disappoint, we kept swapping plates!! The service was excellent, our server recommended the “Italian Lemon Drop” as a switch up for a cocktail, super sweet, but hit the spot. Our entire experience was Devine! We will be back. It was our first time. Usually we take pics, but we were so hungry, and everything tasted so good we forgot! That says a lot that we didn’t even want to stop eating to take pics! The only disappointment was they were out of the Lemon creme brûlée for dessert, we love both lemon and creme brûlée, so we were sad to not try it!
