Verona Cucina Italiana
The walled patio is so nice, very elegant and the food was perfect!
Amazing service and food.
Overall experience was excellent. Noise level was a bit high only because we were outside because of the Covid.
Otherwise u can’t go wrong having dinner at Verona’s.
My only complaint is that during this pandemic, there was no social distancing among the tables.
The food was delicious and the staff outstanding. It was a pleasant night to eat outside.
Great outside space and the fans and misters make it a pleasant spot in the hot weather of Modesto. Great food and service.
Great food. Service was very nice
We love Verona's. The patio is beautiful, quiet, perfect ambience for our anniversary dinner. I had the seafood cannelloni and it was perfect! I also felt safe in their environment. The staff were friendly and attentive to our needs.
The food was fantastic. Fresh and perfectly cooked. Our waiter was gruff and lacked tact. Did not seem like a fit for the food, ambiance, and price point. I love this place; hope he does not serve me again.
Veronas is always outstanding. Filet Mignon was a perfect piece.
Outstanding food and service. Always enjoy eating there.
I have eaten at Verona's many times over the years. I have never been disappointed with my dining experience. Make reservations because it is disappointing to arrive only to find there won't be any available tables for the rest of the evening.
Nice cozy patio setting
Very good food prawns with spinach noodles
Filet with roasted vegetables
THANK YOU STACY FOR YOUR OUTSTANDING SERVICE & GRACIOUSNESS!!!
Great food and great atmosphere. The service was outstanding
As usual a great meal!
Love this restaurant. Went on Valentine's Day. Crowded and loud, of course. The menu was changed for the day, so a little disappointing.
The food was good. The prices are a bit high for the plates. I ordered Cioppino and only got a few pieces of shrimp, fish and clams. Bread was good. Husband had the chicken marsala and said it was good.
From the moment we walked in it was a great experience being our first time here. Our server was wonderful... we sat on the patio and enjoyed our wine and dinner along with live music. Our entire meal was the best... so yummy! Will definitely be back... soon!
Food and ambiance were great; but the inexperienced server should have had more training. She was pleasant and was trying her best; but did not know much of the basics. Aside from struggling with our orders, we had 2 bottles of wine opened and I told her to only pour the Pinot Noir and let the 2011 Malbec sit and breathe. She proceeded to pour the Malbec into two glasses before I noticed and stopped her. Glasses were filled 1/2 full (too full) and no offer to taste was presented. She had a good attitude and will learn; but the owners should be sure staff is ready when starting at an upscale establishment.
My wife’s birthday
Food was excellent, service was slow & for the money not what I expected having been a server in a 5 star restaurant for many years.
Great experience and food.
I have been here several times, food is always good. They just went through a major remodel and I love the new decor, they only I noticed is, all the surfaces are hard and it made the dining room a little noisy
The food was excellent; service, however, was rushed. I’m not sure why the server was in such a hurry.
Food was delicious and beautiful atmosphere.
Love the remodeled look.
Always great service and great food.
Had a pleasant evening at Verona Cucina, the food was consistently good. The waiter seemed a bit flustered leaving me to wonder if they were short handed. We ordered some chocolate martini's, first round was perfect, second round not so much so, I'm guessing it was a different bartender. Over all it was a good experience but, with just a little more attention to detail could have been an excellent experience.
Our server was jeff, he’s a cool guy, we ordered the bread basket, chicken parmesan and tiramisu, the food was outstanding and dessert was delicious, great ambiance for modesto, awesome date night
Great gal waiting on us. Very friendly and helpful.
Jeff was an excellent server. He made our dining experience. The food was over the top!
Food was fabulous. New decor allows for no sound absorption, so it was difficult to have a conversation.
Service was adequate.
This was our first visit to Verona Cucina, and it was so enjoyable. We were seated promptly; the waiter was new, but very friendly and attentive. The food was fabulous! We had the fritto misto appetizer, very flavorful, especially the green beans. My husband had the mushroom ravioli with beef tenderloin pieces and a cream sauce, excellent. I had the crusted halibut, the best I have ever had, not dry at all and very fresh tasting. The tiramisu for dessert was great too. Prices are fair, even reasonable. We will be back for sure.
Very good! Great food, kudos to the chef. Only complaint - menu specifies a $2 charge for bread that includes French and focaccia; they didn’t have focaccia; and on the bottom of the menu it states bread is complimentary. Which is it? Was a bit awkward having to ask the waiter. My opinion - just throw in the bread for at least the first round. Still recommend though!
Our traditional dinner after the first day of school
