Food is consistently good. Service is nice but could be little better. Nice ambience !
I've been a patron of Verona’s for many years. The food is always good . It’s a treat to dine at Verona’s .
We went here for the 1st time for our 20th Anniversary and everything was spectacular!!!
The food was spot on and Heather was an excellent server, going above and beyond. A great overall experience.
The filet mignon is ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS on point. The bread was so fresh as usual, as and the chocolate cake was incredible. Staff is always very polite and helpful
Consistently good food. Tiramisu is best I've ever had
First time eating at Verona and enjoyed it very much. Seating was quick and customers were lite at the beginning then after an hour it was busy. We arrived there around 4:45 pm. It was myself, my wife and 16 year old daughter. We all found a dinner that suits us. I had the basic spaghetti with sauce, including sausage added to it. It was very good. Pricing is a little on the high side; you pay for every extra you order: salad, soup, bread and so on are all extras. They do not come with your meal. Ambiance is very nice. Like I said, it was very lite with customer in the beginning, but even when it began to be crowded, it was not noisy. Age of customers; mostly adults but there were a few kids. Our server was attentive and hostess was a delight. I would recommend and will go back again soon. Recommend.
We went on Mother’s Day for brunch and as always at Verona’s the food was outstanding. Jeff, our server, took care of us like we were family. I look forward to making this a family tradition to go on Mother’s Day.
Paul was an excellent server that was always there when we needed him but never felt like he was hovering. The red sauce is awesome there!
Alwats,a fantastic meal. When we have Paul wait on 7s it is even better. Always look forward to dinning with you.
Eat here quite frequently. Business lunches, bite to eat after work. Had dinner with friends this time. Food was excellent and service was very solid. Food is consistent and it's a great place for a quite dinner or lunch.
Never a disappointment I have been coming here for 19 years.
Never a disappointment.
My daughter and I like to go to Verona whoever she is home. Excellent sea bass and salmon
Verona’s always delivers a wonderful meal and dining experience.
We live in Fresno and meet our friends from Sacramento area here every year. Usually reserve table with Open Table and get same table. We were seated immediately on arrival with pleasant greeting. As usual the food and service were excellent. We truly love this place and look forward to our yearly visit.
Have been coming to Verona's very frequently have always had a very good meal and great service. I would recommend this Restaurant
Everything was delightful! Dinner started with bread and olive oil/balsamic, and the vinegar was the best I’ve ever had. They sell it, but sell out fast. If they have some, get some. I had the lasagna, and a caprese salad. The sauce on the lasagna was magnificent. Finished it off with some creme brûlée which was also very good, if a little over roasted on top. And one of the best features is hand-made espresso drinks.
The food was very good, but was not hot when brought to our table.
One of our favorite restaurants in the area. Great place for business or personal meals. Great food and service.
Food is good but priced at the limit for what it is. Tired and uninspired service with an extremely disappointing wine list. Our 4th time here and likely our last.
I’m sorry but an hour and a half delay on reservations made 2 weeks in advance is unacceptable.
Fantastic food. Service was great. Handmade drinks that were right on. We had an hour wait but that was because they were very crowded and it was Valentines day. I think that they may have over booked themselves for that particular evening. I would highly recommend this place to friends and family. We will be going back again in the future.
Valentine's Day dinner. Reservation was 7: 00. Place was overbooked. People standing everywhere. Sat in the bar where they had one bartender responsible for the bar, restaurant, serving dinners and busing tables. So unfair to put him in that position. Waited patiently for 20 min to get a drink. I ordered a cosmo but received a plain martinis, didn't complain because he had no time to remake it. Rude hostess. We finally went back up front after she was seating other tables before us. We were finally seated at 8: 45. Not acceptable. My dinner was fine but my husband had veal and it was so tough he couldn't chew it. Very bad management to let the restaurant over book and understaff. Very disappointed in a very special occasion.
We had a reservation and we waited over 45 minutes before we got seated. Obviously, restaurant overbooked. Food was good although a bit over priced. Unfortunately, we will not come back to this restaurant.
Since it was Valentine's Day it was busy and service was slow.... But since it was Valentine's Day, who was in a hurry anyway... We eat there often and don't have this problem on a typical night..
Over priced rubber ribeye 84$ over priced blue chess salad 15 bucks wine 11 dollars a glass......only reason I tipped was because her name. GOING TO PERKS!!!
We dined for Valentines day. The portions were small for a big $.. did not sit well with the group. Small filet with 3 prawns for $47.00.. Pretty steep for what you got.. I had visited before & had great meals.. Valentines day was extremely busy for them & they were not equipped with the proper amount of servers. Our server was below average. Had to ask for water fill up several times. Will give them another chance..
We shared an appetizer of bruschetta. It was tasty. My husband and I each had a cup of the minestrone. It came piping hot and was very delicious. I had the special which was a Parmesan crusted Petrale sole over risotto with mixed vegetables. My husband had the brick chicken special, my son had the mushroom ravioli, and my daughter had the veal piccata. Everything ordered by my table was delicious and devoured. We had a bottle of the Chianti Classico Riserva Peppoli. We drank every drop! I had the spumoni gelato for dessert and my daughter had the chocolate martini.
Molto bene - fantastic food! Chocolate Ecstacy is a MUST for dessert!
The service was excellent, although when my husband ordered extra clams for his linguine and clams dish, he was charged double for the entree. Seems a bit excessive... otherwise ambiance was nice, service was very good.
Our server Kristi was ver pleasant, helpful, and attentive,. She always made sure we were taken care of. Gave us dinner specials and knew them without looking on a piece of paper. Food was tasteful, hot, and overall we had a good experience tonight.
A regular favorite of ours. Never disappoints!
Always willing to make any changes you want to their dishes.
It was excellent as usual, good food, great waitress, nice evening
Always a fantastic plate of food. Best restaurant in Modesto, hands down!
Good food nice atmosphere, I'll be going again soon.
I have never had a bad experience here. Tonight I had the fresh heirloom tomatoes salad with burrata cheese with heirloom arugala, follow by the halibut special with artichoke risotto.
We haven't been here in at least for years. Glad we gave it another try. Food was delicious and the renovated dining room was nice.
This was the first time I had tried Verona Cucina. My son-in-law enjoyed the Sea Bass, my daughter her pasta, and I had one of the specials, Prime Rib. Service was very good and there was appropriate time between the salads and the entrees. Will definitely be back.
